Come and Join the Lobston Tournament! Come claim fame, fight, display your skill, and make your mama proud!

One day, the floating island will come ashore-- somewhere in your country. It will announce a great contest for amazing The Lobston Tournament.
Thomas Lobston, eccentric lord, almost-immortal, and creator of the pig fat&aloe hand cream — is a fan of mayhem and wild betting. His last century was spent frivolously, and as a result, he organized a great tournament, twice. Each one, an opportunity to refill his coffers, to live luxuriously for the next decades.
Which kind of individuals will be lured by riches and a chance to test their skills? Or more importantly, by a chance to show off. Warriors? Lunatics? Bards?... Gods?
One thing is for there will be blood, and one heck of a good time!

This is a masterpiece of comedy and gore at the perfect mix! The Lobston Tournament comes in the form of a magical island of an arena, the rules are quite simple. Do not fall for any of the characters, but be wary of what bets you place!

Tourney 1

Between the mix of characters and the never ending quips between contestants and the guards entering the tournament? Pure genius!

This tourney is a mix of D&D, the anime RWBY, Final Fantasy and Pokémon if they all walked into an arena to fight to the death!

Nooooo JELLYBEAN???? (sobbing incoherently)

Tourney 2

Beginning much the same, but a faster pace. Once again I was moved to laughter by the banter and tournament styles!

Seems to be a mix of D&D, Sparta, Mad Max and Ghibli! The mixes are endless! And let’s not forget *redacted* (no spoilers) these contestants all need some lotion and luckily Thomas Lobston has his own line of it to um “soothe” some of these deaths

Honestly though this is one of the best novellas I’ve read in a while! Need more from this author!! I’ve been told by a little birdy he writes about ants?

The Lobston Tournament - Louis Olivier ST. Pierre

I loved this so much. I loved all the fun interesting characters. The characters and their weapons and battle style were so unique and I liked the diversity. It was hard not to get attached to the characters and to just route for one character. The battles were interesting and just so engaging. I would love to see more tournaments novellas because they were just so fun.

I loved this short read. I absolutely love well-done battle scenes, if you do too this will not disappoint. It's battle after battle but every single one is different so it does not get boring. It also has a touch of comedy thrown in that did give me the occasional chuckle. Also, this is a to-the-death tournament so don't get attached to any of the characters because as soon as you do they'll most likely die lol. I very much enjoyed this as a short in between books read, very different from other things I've read.
