Neomi “Wild” Cavallaro has been promised to Benito “Benny” Marchetti, heir of the Marchetti family in an arranged marriage.

In true enemies-to-lovers style, these two are angry and vindictive, and push each other’s buttons in the way only two people straddling the line between love and hate can.

While it was a bit of standard mafia story, the characters themselves really up-leveled this one. I loved the journey for these two to their HEA and am looking forward to more from the Marchetti family.

The main characters didn’t excite me, their feelings didn’t convince me and the mafia aspect was mediocre.

Fantastic follow-up to A Gorgeous Monster! Benny Marchetti and Neomi Cavallaro have been promised to each other for the past 10 years and neither of them is happy about it. But time's run up and it's time for the two of them to step up to their familial duties. They just need to manage not to unalive the other, lol.

Super fun and smexy ride with some laugh out loud moments! Super fast paced, it definitely held my attention with all of the incredible banter between them. Benny was everything I knew he'd be based off of what we knew of him in book one. Ruthless, barely controlled, jealous/possessive, and obsessive about this new wife who seems to taunt and challenge him at every turn. Oh, and an asshole. He's definitely an asshole and will have you 🤬 at a couple points. I absolutely loved Neomi! She's a bit of a brat, but she's super passionate and independent, always pushing the boundaries of the life she's been boxed into. Benny realizes pretty quickly that he wants to make the most of their marriage, but it's definitely work with how much these two rub against each other. Super entertaining story and I can't wait to see what Charity brings us next!

4 Neomi and Benny Stars

This is the second in the Marchetti Mafia series and focuses on Benny , the son of Cristian from Gorgeous Monster. Benny's future marriage to Neomi was arranged for them since they were young children to unite two powerful Mafia families. Unfortunately , neither Neomi nor Benny are keen on the idea but both realise there is no way to avoid the inevitable.

They are both headstrong, driven and determined characters so this orchestrated marriage is going to be a major battle of wills. And fireworks certainly do fly.

I liked Neomi and Benny very much. It's a thin line between love and hate and as passions rise, tempers flare and blood is shed , the boundaries are blurred.


Benny is the one that fell first in my opinion . I loved when he became protective and watching him truly fall hard for his wife was heartwarming. They have some excellent verbal sparring and challenge each other frequently which makes for entertaining reading.

There is a lot of violence in this book which is common for Mafia romances. I have to confess I had to skip a little bit in a couple of scenes because is was too gruesome for this Nervous Nelly. There is a very clear warning from the author at the start in regard to scenes of violence.



Excellent secondary characters bring more layers to the story and there is a sub plot that threads through from the first book but this still reads strongly as a standalone.

If Mafia romances are your thing , then try this series. This novel ends on a twist that leads into book three , Gorgeous Princess and I am definitely going to be reading it...



Passion , drama , secrets... this series is definitely a keeper.

All our arguing and fake hating had been nothing but foreplay.

Gorgeous Prince was way sweeter than I expected. Neomi and Benny were contracted to marry since they were young. They had no say in the matter, clearly, so they both sort of rebel against it in the same way. Isn’t there a saying about the universe knowing what you need better than you do? Well, in their case that was true. They were a match made in contracted mafia heaven and I loved every minute of their story. I do feel like a couple things slipped through the cracks in this one, but I want to say I love that Neomi was very protective of Benny. We always see protective heroes in mafia reads, and Benny is that too, but reading a protective to their SO heroine was kind of top notch to me. ANYWAY. If you love arranged mafia romance with some dark themes weaved throughout, then you’ll love Gorgeous Prince.

**Highly recommend reading Gorgeous Monster before if you want to read the series. Bits and pieces of that story are revealed in this one, so in order is best!

Let me head this off with saying, I don’t even like slowburns. I try to eliminate “hate” from my vocabulary BUT I seriously hate waiting an entire book for smut. WITH THAT BEING SAID, MF BENNY!!!!!!! Would have waited until 99.9% of this book to get my cookie if I was homegirl. That man would’ve had to crawl to me and BEG ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES WHILE CRYING to even GLIMPSE kitty. He would’ve had to change and recode his DNA, provide me with an 850 credit score, let me call him “good boy” in front of his capos, and personally do all my mani/pedis before I even took my panties off and gave him the pleasure of sniffing my vagina. Are you kidding me??? Freak outta here dude. (My ultimate revenge would have something to do w/ his daddy but unfortunately he’s with my homegirl Natalia, sooooo yeah… he’s so lucky.)

As the title of this review states...this next entry of this series totally delivered. If you love the Mafia troupe, the casual violence, the arranged marriages that happen, and the eventual love blooming between these two powerful characters.

Sometimes it is fun to read about people you would never know, about lives you would never live, yet experiencing their finding love may give you a glimpse of something you wish for everyone.

There is another book coming and I will be ready, waiting for it.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Benny and Neomi's banter was super entertaining.

I did get annoyed with Neomi a few times because she pulled some very childish stunts. She acted like she wasn't the daughter of a Don and born into the mafia life. I will say she learned from her mistakes and definitely had character growth throughout the book.

I loved Benny 🙈 He was a total asshole from the beginning and did pull a real f*cked up move with Gretchen at their engagement party. He became OTT possessive and obsessed with Neomi pretty early on, though.

All in all, it was a solid read that kept me throughly entertained. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

This woman is fierce,sassy, strong and soft at the same time. I was living for the moments when she challenged Benny at every turn and refused to be controlled until Benny showed his soft underbelly to her. This mafia arranged marriage enemies to lovers romance was sizzling hot and explosive. Benny and Neomi will set your kindle at fire with their fiery passion and they are set to rule the world with their blazing love.

Neomi never wanted an arranged marriage. So she hates Benny Marchetti, son of the mafia king. Benny thought this marriage will be just a business transaction. An alliance for power play. But Neomi has a way to get under his nerve. She fights with him constantly. And since the blood soaked wedding, he feels a sense of responsibility and protectiveness for her. Neomi knows that he will never love her but the way he want to possess her body and soul tells another story.

Benny and Neomi are match made in heaven. From the very beginning, Neomi made it clear that she won't be a docile mafia wife. She has too much fire in her. She slowly starts falling for the devil who claims to have no heart. But that's not true. Benny was unsettled by Neomi's overwhelming effect in his life. Her defiance makes him want to tame her but it also makes him obsessed with her. He is extremely possessive..he takes "touch her and die" vibes to whole new level. His need to protect her goes deep and he feels the shift in his heart. He never wanted to fall in love but Neomi changed it! Gosh I love when an antihero falls so hard for his queen! They went through some challenging times together. The action and the suspense was on point here. I loved that Neomi may be a mafia princess but she is no damsel in distress. She is a bit crazy with her fire and attitude..just the right kind for the mafia prince. The chemistry was insane. And Benny melted my heart and my panty dangerously fast with his alphah0le ways.

Gorgeous Prince is the second book in the Marchetti Mafia series and tells the story of Neomie and Benny. Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

After reading Gorgeous Monster, I was really looking forward to reading Benny’s story. He seemed like such an interesting character, and he was! I’m so glad Charity Ferrell gave us Gorgeous Prince, because this book is even better than the first one! If you love Mafia Romance books and the Arranged Marriage trope, than Gorgeous Prince is definitely the perfect book for you!

Gorgeous Prince tells the story of Neomie and Benny. Benny is the son of the Marchetti mafia don, and he has to marry Neomie. Benny and Neomie aren’t happy with their marriage, but the more time they spend together, the more they start to like each other… I really loved Benny and Neomie’s story, I’m a sucker for arranged marriage and enemies to lovers, and Charity combined both tropes so well! I really loved reading in both character’s POV, and I loved seeing them like and even love each other! Benny is a villain to others but to Neomie he’s such a softie!

Gorgeous Prince is my favourite book in the Marchetti Mafia series, and it’s also my favourite Charity Ferrell book. I really enjoyed reading this book, I hated when I had to stop reading and adult. This book is so addictive and well written! I loved the ending and I’m also kinda sad that that Benny and Neomie’s story is over. But, I’m also really excited for the next book in the Marchetti Mafia series!

Gorgeous Prince is the second book of the series Marchetti Mafia so incidentally, Benny happens to be the second man I have fallen for in the Marchetti family. Like father like son, he is just as dark, intense, possessive and protective, and blissfully, heart stoppingly smexy. His bride on the other hand, is feistier and smarter than anyone he has known and she has the unapologetic attitude that mesmerizes him to stupors. They are a match made in heaven -or hell- and somehow manage to complete one another unexpectedly. If you are a fan of mafia romance with arranged marriage trope as well as lots of push and pull and angst, you will surely love Gorgeous Prince by Charity Ferrell.

I have been dying for Benny's story and Charity did not disappoint! We get a glimpse of the explosive tensions between Benny & Neomi at the end of Gorgeous Monster and that was only the beginning.

Benny was expecting his future arranged marriage to Neomi to be a typical mafia marriage, but he wasn't prepared for what he got. Neomi is brave, sharp and doesn't back down from Benny even though everyone else is afraid of him. Once they realize they don't really hate one another, things get interesting.

These two were perfectly matched and I loved watching them realize they were falling for one another. I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend!

3.5 ⭐. I'm glad the first book didn't prevent me from reading this because it's thousand times better, which wasn't exactly a surprise since I liked Benny so much more than his father in the previous book. There were still a few things that I wasn't a fan of, one of them being the FMC, who in my opinion wasn't a fully realized character, she's 28 and it seems like besides knowing she'll someday have to marry Benny she has no other life aspirations, it was said at some point that she makes her own money but I don't see how, as far as I remember she didn't have a job, I don't know if she had a career or anything going other than their fake marriage. What I did like was that she was consistent in what she wanted, a relationship based in love was important to her so she wouldn't give in to have any physical intimacy with Benny until they were in their way to share true feelings for each other.

Now I have to address the elephant in the room and give a warning to those who are planning to read this book, it isn't technically a spoiler since it happened at the very end of the last book, but Benny was engaging in sexual activity with the woman he had been sleeping with for months prior to his wedding just to teach Neomi a lesson, at this point they're weren't actually committed to each other but the wedding was already set in motion and everybody expected faithfulness from the bride but not from the groom, so it was still a f***** up thing to do. What I do appreciate was that he didn't brush it off but apologized to Neomi later on, recognized his mistake and fought to earn her trust back. Ultimately that's what I liked about this book, they built something beautiful for themselves, there were nice gestures from both sides and they weren't shy to let everybody else know that they loved each other.

The mafia aspect was a bit meh for me, but as long as you give me a decent romance I will still enjoy a book, and that was the case this time around.

Hmm I hate the scene where the H getting a bj from OW at their (MCs) engagement party. Yes they weren’t together ish nor they were in love with each other but it still yucky. Moreover OW was the only woman he was with sexually for 6 months. He didn’t love her or anything and she was just a convenient f buddy but it still nag me.

Bot sure what was worse, that or the H having lots of f buddies because having 1 mistress seems so domesticated (?) lol.

The h was mad at first and the fact that OW was the H’s housekeeper’s daughter and lived at his family’s mansion was quite sth. And Neomi was mad at first but kinda letting it go pretty fast for my liking. I want her to be more petty but that’s my inner childish side speaking.

Other than that everything was great. The build up from lust to love was pretty believable. Benny (I don’t like the name.. made him sounds like a big guy with pot belly and balding head to me) was alpha enough without coming out as too much or forceful.

Neomi had her psycho side but not off putting like some FMC in some books I’ve read in the past that were unnecessarily cruel just for the sake of being ‘badass’. And she still got her compassionate nature too!

I would love a special ending set maybe a couple years later that included baby/ies or at least pregnant heroine but overall a good mafia romance book to pass time.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but omg, this one is SO MUCH BETTER. and I don't mean that as an insult because the first book was really good, but it's like Charity took everything that made the first book so good and ramped it up times a thousand: the feels, the banter, the hate to want you, the heat, all the unaliving-- it was just SO GOOD.

Now I will admit, it took me a bit to warm up to Benny. Especially with that stunt he pulled with the OW. But as soon as that ring is on Neomi's finger, a switch was flipped and he was all about his wife, all the time. I honestly loved seeing the unflappable and unfeeling mafia prince fall so hard to the wife he never wanted. Their relationship was just so beautiful, and this will definitely be a book I read over and over again!

As far as Neomi, omg, she is my spirit animal! She is so sassy, strong willed, has such a big heart and even though she knows this mafia world she was born into like the back of her hand.. she doesn't want to marry Benny. She wants to be in love when she gives her all to a man, and since these two have spent years actively hating one another, to say she's not looking forward to their upcoming nuptials is an understatement. But once they are forced to lower their walls and truly see who the other person is, they can't help but fall for one another. And the banter?! GOOD LORD. I'm such a slut for good banter and these two have that in spades. Plus the heat was just 🥵🥵🥵🥵

I absolutely adore this world and can't wait for more in the series!

Fun, entertaining enemies-to-lovers mafia story!!

Benito “Benny” Marchetti is the “prince” and heir to the Marchetti mafia family “kingdom” so to speak. Neomi Cavallaro, is the daughter to a different mafia family. They were promised to each other as part of an arranged marriage to help their respective mafia families. This causes them to develop a hate for each other as they grew up, due to the lack of choice in this matter. Now years later, they must fulfil their duties and finally get married.

I really enjoyed their enemies-to-lovers dynamic. Their antics and the way they pushed each other’s buttons was fun to watch. Benny was so hot, dominating and ruthless, especially when conducting his business matters. However, once he was with Neomi, he would do anything to protect her. Neomi was my fav of the two though! She was soo fiery, strong and fierce. I loved how she challenged Benny from the start.

Suspense in the story was also created via standard mafia stuff in the background. This was also fun and entertaining to see. This was also super spicy! 🌶️ Loved it! Can’t wait for the next book!

This was narrated by Aiden Snow and Cassandra Medcalf. They brought Benny and Neomi to life and were the perfect pair for this story.

taking her rightful place as a mafia queen

Farrell is firmly cementing herself as a Mafia Queen and there is a reason for that. She writes öbsessive, psychötic male characters who want to unålivē everyone but *her* and that makes my feminism fly out the window. And her female characters? HOT DĀMN. They are all (and I mean, ALL) complex, dynamic, fiery goddesses.

My new thing is mafia stories that could be featured on either HBO or E! and THESE ARE THEM. Give me hot tempters! Give me scenes that make me laugh!

I’m so into this psychô little family, it’s ridiculous. I cannot wait for the drama that’s going to come from book 3, because you just know it’s going to be Romeo and Juliet, but like the Leo/Claire Danes version. I’m drooling already.

This was such an enjoyable arranged marriage story with two interesting characters. At the end of Gorgeous Monster we got a small glimpse of Benny and Neomi, just enough to know it was not going to smooth sailing with them.

What happens when a marriage isn't wanted by either party? The few meetings they have had always ended up with anger and recriminations. I loved how they pushed each others buttons and although Benny has most of the power Neomi never backs down even when she knows it won't be a positive outcome. The way the attraction slowly unfolded was fun as we get to see both fighting not to give in and it becomes a battle of wills. Benny was not my favourite at first but as he begins to fall for his wife I fell for him. I loved his possessive nature and the passion that builds between them. A really enjoyable book that mixes the darker parts of mafia life with the romance and family perfectly.

I absolutely loved Benny and Neomi’s story! These two were absolutely perfect together I laughed at the banter and the steam was super hot their story is adrenaline pumping action packed with plenty of lol moments and sexy times that will have you fanning yourself I never wanted their story to end! This series is seriously one of my faves I love the characters the writing is excellent it’s definitely elite to any other I’ve read so far ! Can’t wait to see who the next couple is I’m hoping my prediction is right either way it’ll be amazing!

And while both Benny and Neomi are trying to figure out their new normal as husband and wife, they find that may just maybe they do have feelings for one another.

I couldn't put this book down and loved Benny and Neomi so much. The banter is absolute perfection and I loved how their story ultimately played out. I loved seeing the character growth and watching them both realize they are meant for each other despite the contract that brought them together.

I just finished my ARC for this one and OMG it delivered on everything this I love about Enemies to Lovers. Naomi and Benny give us all the angst in the beginning. I love the action in mafia romances and this one did not disappoint.

This book was soooo good🔥I can’t wait for the next one. This was Neomi and Bennys love story. But it didn’t start as a love story, it started as an arranged marriage. Bennys father and Neomis father had struck a deal whenever Natalia had gotten kidnapped. Neomis father agreed to be on the Marchettis side against the Lompardis as long as Benny would marry Neomis. Christin, bennys father agreed, and told Benny they didn’t have to marry right away just when the time was right. One of their first interactions was Neomi being in Bennys bar. He had her kicked out after he made threats to her about behaving. The next time they saw each other she was with her friend at her drug dealer boyfriends house when Benny came and raided the place. He drove Neomi home and when she kept talking he handcuffed and duct taped her for the remainder of the car ride. The next time was at a ball, she was at the bar talking to another man and he made himself known. He told her how they were set to be married and to not disrespect him like that. At their engagement party Neomi was trying to avoid Benny. He made a comment about how she would be begging for him. She told him that their marriage would not be sexual. He made it clear to hee he didn’t believe in love, she wasn’t giving up that part of herself. So Benny asked her if she would mind watching him get his dick sucked by another girl and she acted as if she wouldn’t. Until she watched him take Gretchen into the billiards room and watched her suck his dick. So she went and grabbed the first person at the party she thought would let her do it and dragged him into the billiards room so she could pretend like she was going to suck this man’s dick. Benny begins to get pissed and when Neomi doesn’t stop he shoots Alden, the man she brought in. Everyone rushes in because there was a gun shot. The party is over. Neomi is covered in Alden’s blood and all she does is smile at Benny, he knows he’s in trouble then. Bennys father tells him he needs to control his temper but that he understands and they get the body cleaned up. Benny comes and gets Neomi and takes her to her new home. She tells him it’s kind of bland like a saltine cracker and she doesn’t love it. They discuss the fact that he won’t love her and she needs to decide if their marriage is sexual or if he’s fucking other women. Neomi gets to see a soft side of Benny because although he can be cruel in his words he also stops for ice cream when she asks for it. Come the day of the wedding Neomi doesn’t cry or try to call it off, she has had years to prepare for the fact she’ll be marrying one of the most feared men in their town, a mini monster. On the day of their wedding everything is going good, when Benny kisses her time stands still and their kiss is so good they got lost in it, until there are gun shots and Benny shoved Neomi down and tells her to exit the church. When Benny tries to go toward the exit he notices one of her sisters standing by the door and realizes there is a man with a gun pointed to Neomis head. Her father Severine I think was his name, comes to Bennys side and says they can shoot the man but Benny insists that Neomi is his wife he’ll deal with the man. Neomi bites the captors hand and Benny is able to shoot him dead, Neomi runs into Bennys arms. Benny takes her to the mansion where his family lives so she can get cleaned up and relax, her mother insists on the women still holding some sort of a wedding reception. Neomi is numb. After almost being kidnapped and having a gun held to her head after almost thinking she was going to have a good wedding day and now she’s plastered in someone else’s blood. Benny and the men went to try to do work and figure out why the wedding got shot up and who did it. Neomis brother Tommaso is a walking red flag from the start. He first set Benny off when he took a long time to come into the room at the engagement party, in a mafia family when you hear a gun shot you get to it. Benny and his father cristin sit down with Severine and Tomasso and ask if they have any idea why they would have gotten shot at. The men were not of the Lompardis who are their main enemy right now so they assume this enemy is from Neomis family. Tommasso seems nervous the whole time and Benny and his father can tell that he knows something he’s not telling. Benny goes back to the mansion and retrieves his wife from his bed and takes her home. He takes her to his grandparents home where his mother had been raised. His father had kept it and would never sell it and it was staying essentially the same way it had always been. Neomi loved it much more than the saltine cracker house, this house was cozy like a home and had memories. The other house had never even been lived in. She asked Benny for her room and he pointed and she said goodnight and he clarified that it’s their room. Neomi insists they stay in separate bedrooms but Benny won’t hear of it. He tries to corner her and she tells him she’s not having sex with him. Benny becomes enraged that she feels as if them sleeping in the same bed means he would force himself upon her, he would never rape her. He tells her when she’s ready for his dick she’ll be begging for it. When neomi awakes Benny is already gone but Luca is there to watch her. Benny goes and pays Tommaso a visit. Tommaso confessed he owes Sammie over a million doors and that is prolly who shot up the wedding. He begs Benny to help him out but Benny can see the drugs and alcohol and women that come in and out of Tommasos house and he’s not feeding into the addiction. He lets his father know what he figured out so they can decide which direction to go. Tommaso is an idiot to gamble his money away or to get loans from Sammy. Sammy has a high interest rate and is not friendly when he doesn’t get paid when he wants to. Benny returns to Neomi where she asks to go grocery shopping since there is no food in the home. Benny has never been grocery shopping before. She is surprised by how normal it feels for them to be grocery shopping together and feels bad when she realizes she doesn’t have her wallet to buy groceries and he tells her she will never have to buy groceries. When they get back Neomi cooks dinner, she has her headphones in doing her thing when she notices benny watching her. He said he’s staying for the show. They eat dinner together and he goes back into his office to work. She comes down in lingerie and tries to seduce him. While doing that she asks him to marry her sisters off to Marchettis. He tells her he won’t be lured with her sweet pussy. He is not marrying off anyone in his family. He still fingers her and eats her out until she comes and he finally gets to taste his wife’s sweet pussy. He tells her he’s still not marrying off anyone. Neomi had been scared for her families safety because Tomassos best friend had been shot. Benny tells Neomi he’ll be out late at the club so she devised a plan for her and her sister Bria to go to the club while Isabella distracts Luca. When the guards let Benny know that Neomi is there he has Bria put in the waiting room with pizza and tv while he interrogated his wife. They end up sharing a hot moment and Neomi tells him she wants him. He tells her their first time will not be on his desk in the club. While he’s finishing business she hides a camera on his bookshelf. When he comes back they’re headed home and he has his hands around her sweet spot when there is a car tailgating them. It begins shooting at them. Benny tried to shoot back while driving. Neomi grabs the gun out of the glovebox and shoots and kills both men. When they get back her and benny go to the bathroom to clean up. When the glass shattered benny had gotten cut. They have sex for the first time and it’s good. Benny asks her if anyone else has ever touched her and she won’t respond so when he pulls his dick out there’s blood on the tip and he knew he popped her cherry. Benny was ectastic that his wife had saved herself for him. Neomi had acted like she was sleeping around so he never expected to be her only. Neomi had saved herself for someone she loved, and she had went and fallen in love with her husband. After ward he was gentle and cleaned her up. He was gentle the whole time since it was her first. The next morning he climbed in the shower with her. She was sore so he was gentle and cleaned her and then fingered her clit til she came and she gave him a hand job til he came. I believe it was this morning he told her they had a meeting and they went to his parents mansion and on the grounds they met with 2 builders who would build Neomi whatever house she wanted. He told her she didn’t like the house he built so he wanted his wife to be happy. Tomasso begs Benny to help him all of his people are getting shot. Benny doesn’t do it for Tomasso he does it for his wife and agrees to pay off half of his debt owed to Sammy. On the day he’s set to meet Tomasso he quits responding, when Bennie gets upstairs he discovers Tomasso dead. He calls Severino to let him know. Severino wants to kill whoever got his son. Bennie goes back home and has to tell his wife that her brother is dead. She is hysterical and doesn’t want to cry in front of Bennie, their father never let them show emotion in front of him, Bennie begs her to let him comfort her. Bennie holds her while she sobs and tries to piece her back together. She makes him promise he will kill whoever did this. Bennie goes and talks to Sammie who says it wasn’t him, why would he kill hom when he was about to get some of his money. Bennie gets him to talk and Sammie says that 2 brothers did it. When Bennie and Luca get there it looks like they’re at a grandmas house. They’re concerned that they’re at the wrong house but they see the 2 boys playing video games in the garage. They got and interrogate them. They find out that Tomasso had fucked the one guys girlfriend and then their mom so they decided he had to die. Bennie finds out which one killed Tomasso and kills him. He puts him in the trunk and then ties the other brother up and puts him in the trunk. He delivers them to Severino and tells him he saved the one who killed Tomasso for him. When he gets home he tells Neomi the truth that he killed the man who killed her brother but he wanted her father to have that pride. On the day of Tomassos service, Benny is perfect for Neomi. He is comforting and strong. Meanwhile her parents are fighting. Her mother claims she’s leaving her husband. Neomi follows after them to try to provide reason, when she notices a black SUV, when she sees the gun pointed at Bennie she runs towards him, she takes the bullet. She was in and out of it while being driven to the hospital. Bennie was holding her begging her to stay with him while christin drove. When they got to the hospital Bennie and christin sat there and Bennie confessed that he doesn’t think he could stand to lose her. This is when Bennie truly realizes how much he loves his wife. Bennie and Neomis mother stay with her day and night. Benny over heard a nurse say there is also a Lompardis in the hospital at the same time, Vincent. Benny decides to pay him a visit and Antonio steps out of the dark. Antonio says they would like for Vincent to die peacefully. That he is dying. Benny doesn’t want that but his father tells him how foolish it would be to kill him in the hospital. Antonio does confess that Vincent had called for the drive by. He was out of his mind and he won’t be able to make any more decisions. He was watching tv and turned and looked at someone and said go shoot Benny Marchettis, a son for a son. And that’s how it happened. Antonio said once his father passed his uncle is fighting for rights and if that happens the Marchettis will not be safe. Antonio holds no grudges and wants the Marchettis on his side. Benny is hostile because his wife was just shot because of them. While discussing this info with his dad his mother in law calls to let him know that Neomi is awake. When he takes Neomi home he becomes her care giver. He is gentle and careful and wants to give her absolutely anything she needs. There was also a puppy waiting at home for her. At one point she had confessed to Bennie she watched puppy videos because she was never allowed one. He listened and got her one. He said him and her sisters would help take care of it while she’s injured. But he wanted Neomi to have company while she recovers. Neoni had slipped up and told Benny he loved her and he told her he never believed in love but when she came into his life she brought the love with her. Neomi gets a call that Natalia had her baby and he’s ready for visitors. Neomi holds the baby and Benny continues to watch her. When she asks him if he wants to hold his brother he says he’s never held a baby before. Neomi tells him if he doesn’t hold this baby she won’t have his babies for him. Bennie gladly takes the baby, while holding him he says he can’t wait to have littles with Neomi. They all begin to wonder where Gigi is. When christin checks her location it shows the hospital. When they go downstairs her car is abandoned with her purse and phone. Raul gets the footage for Benny and they watch as Antonio convinces her to get in his vehicle. When Benny finally gets ahold of Antonio he tells him that he did take Gigi and he won’t let anyone know her location because it’s for her protection from his uncle. Benny asks what he needs for Gigi back and Antonio says he will not give her or the location up because he’s protecting her because he loves her. GASP. Although we did see this coming when she had mentioned Antonio in the first book. So I believe the next book will be Antonio and Gigi and it will be so good and we’ll get more glimpses of Natalia and Christin and Benny and Neomi and I quite literally can not wait. I am so in love with this series!!! I loved Neomi and Benny. I am so glad that their arranged marriage ended up working. That Neomi helped Benny find love and that he provides her love and support and hot sex 🔥
