I love that they both had their own trauma but they were able to heal separately and together. I also appreciated how the inner monologue of a therapist was portrayed. Some writers write therapists as perfect and it doesn’t come across as human. Adrian knows how to really sit in the internal conflict without it feeling like she is beating a dead horse. Also if there are three Taylor Swift songs in the playlist you know it’s going to be good. This book made me cry real tears twice and kick my feet in happiness so many more times. Also Adrian is the queen of the perfect epilogue. It was not too short and not too long. Overall she leaves you excited for the next book in the series and other characters in the universe.

I loveeee therapy rep and a mental health themed book, and this one absolutely delivers on that front! MM Hockey romances always slap, the forbidden vibes keep me turning pages and eating up every single one. But at the core of it, this is a story with serious heart and so much angst from these two beautiful souls. It was so gratifying to see them get their HEA - with a lil marshmallow fluff on top - IYKYK.

Wes and Knight have such amazing chemistry. My heart broke at what they went through to find their HEA. I’m so glad they both had amazing BFFs in their corner too even if Rook had to come around to the idea. And Callum? Fairy Godbrother is just a perfect description. I can’t wait for more from the Hydras.
