Massacre: Golden Skulls MC

Rate this book
“Some mistakes I carry like scars; others, like unfinished prayers, aching to be answered.” ~ Massacre

I’ve made some questionable choices in my life, but regretted only one. I’ve told myself my brothers were all I needed, that the brotherhood was enough to fill the hollow she left behind… it was a lie I told myself to survive.
Then one day, on a long dark country road, I find her again.
Broken and bleeding.

Now, I’m done pretending.
Done listening to those who want to keep us apart.
To protect her, I will betray everything and become the very thing she fears.

It’s a choice between my loyalty to the club, my family… and her.
It’s a choice I never wanted to make.
This isn’t about survival anymore; it’s about justice.

And those questionable choices?
Yeah, I’m still making them.
But I know it will all work out in the end.
I hope.

Was it intriguing and exciting? A thousand times yes. Rebecca is the author who can turn your world around. If the first half of the book was missing something, the next half was so crazy and action-packed that my brain was ready to explode from all this information. The whole plot keeps you in suspense and it makes you very happy. I really liked the Massacre, God, this man lived up to all my expectations. Although his story was quite difficult personally, and I didn't expect this. Therefore, I recommend listening to the author's advice for one of the chapters. But I liked Amber the most. She turned out to be a pretty strong girl despite everything she had to go through. She stood her ground. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

I have waited for this one and boy it was great . I wanted to see Amber’s story and to see that Massacre was her man was amazing. I’m always impressed by how Rebecca keeps all the characters and stories lines straight because I have to go back and double check just to who or where they are related or where they showed up. Massacre dang I couldn’t believe how much he had gone through and the connection he with Reapers wife . Or the other connections I don’t want to give anything away. But hot damn it’s wow. But the love for Amber is there and he needs to fix things before shit hits the fan. Amber has a lot to understand and unpack yes she has been told what to do and had the choice. And now that she does will she take or make the right one ? Or will there be more problems, or will she finally be able to finally have a happily ever after? Loved this book 📕 until the next.

Absolutely loved this book! After so many glimpses of Massacre in previous stories, it was so satisfying to finally get his full story. He’s always been a favorite of mine, and I loved seeing that his humor still shines through even in the most serious situations.
His relationship with Amber was perfect, they balance each other so well, and I couldn’t stop smiling at their moments together. That said, I do feel like Amber’s story isn’t completely finished, especially with how things were left with her mom. But honestly, that’s what I enjoy about Rebecca Joyce’s books, she leaves just enough open-ended to keep you thinking (and impatiently waiting!) for the next installment.
As always, I finished the book both completely satisfied and already craving more. The wait is torture, but Rebecca always makes it worth it. Highly recommended if you love emotional, funny, and unforgettable characters with a dark side and a tale so twisted you will never predict the next move.

Fantastic

This book!!! All of Rebecca Joyce’s trademarks are in this (iykyk) and it’s fantastic. We know Massacre from the previous books in this series and I’m so happy he gets his own story. Amber and Massacre are great together, there’s heartbreak, laughter, shocks, tears and love in this book. This ties in with Ann Silver’s series. A lot of characters we know and love are in this book which is always fun to see. There’s heavy subjects in this book but that’s what makes these stories so real. This one is a page turner that you do not want to put down. Highly recommend this book, series and author to everyone 🖤❤️

There was a lot going on in this book. If you haven’t read the previous Silver Shadows MC books then Massacre’s story might be a bit confusing. The more the story arc progresses the more confusing it gets. What I have come to learn from reading all of these interconnected stories is….Nothing is ever as it seems. As always, Rebecca has created something that is truly fantastic that keeps you on your toes. Massacre and Amber were perfect for each other ❤️.

WOW!
I have been waiting for this story and it so didn't disappoint! and OMG both Amber and Massacre.
These two have come a long long way with lots of detours and we finally get tm meet the Band of Brothers (and they are as "bad" as you anticipated (I can't wait for their stories) Dibs on Morpheus)

Rebecca Joyce is a master story weaver (and weave she does). These series are so intertwined and there is so much detail that the reader is sitting with book in hand crying, laughing and say oh no she didn't!
and that warehouse scene, and the epilogue.
can't wait for more!

Oh this book had me in tears but also giggling because, it’s Massacre he’s funny. I love Amber for him, so gentle and calming for him plus it annoys Bane and I’m all for that.
This series just gets better with each and every book, tie it in with Ann Silvers books and you have a universe I never want to leave

This book gave it all I cried, screamed and was totally speechless in place
I loved that Massacre keep his sense of humour
So many books you read where the funny guy gets his own book and they get all serious something they never were in other books
Amber and Massacre’ story was heartbreaking at times and I’m sure their story isn’t furnished yet I notice a few little nuggets left in this book for things to come
Loved this book and Massacre story

I was so ready for this but the emotional rollercoaster threw me through a loop

I mean you definitely are left with your jaw before because the amount of lies and secrets that come out in this book is like astronomical and there are so many parts in this book that you're like what just happened I cried a good portion of this book because massacre is so real and he is willing to do anything and everything for this woman and he is so selfless for her and she and away gets herself into a pickle thinking that she did the right thing not knowing that he is always had her back she's also been dealt a really bad hand like Amber has really gone through the ringer and I feel so bad for her because she hate your mom but I feel like there's there's a lot of story there that's not said yet but then she gets her dad back and now that whole mess is like a mess right now so it's just like she's got a lot thrown at her and she's got her brother back and now she has a niece and it's like a little too much and then you throw in massacre and he is very sweet very patient but he's very very rugged also because he is wounded like he has a past that is not good he has a lot weighing on him and Ifeel like he just always gets in trouble like it's just his favorite thing to do the answer between the two of them towards the end of the book is amazing she definitely grows a lot in this book I think he does as well but you really see her shine I am so ready to go for Romeo look I need him to get a happy story especially cuz I already know who he's going to end up with but I need his story because he just it was so much teased on him and this book I feel like and I just need it there are parts of this book where I was like oh my goodness am I going to get a happy ending but then when it all came full circle I was like oh thank goodness I mean this book definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat and your struck for what like you think is going to hapene.

OHHHH Massacre! I couldn't wait for this book. You just knew it was going to be awesome. It had to with a character like this and Ms Joyce did not disappoint.
Pairing Massacre with Amber, perfect! Both imperfect, lonely but surrounded by people, head strong but needing a helping a hand.
Massacre goes through a lot to make sure Amber is safe. From walking away to physical and emotional harm. This book has brought back many favorites we love to hear from; Reaper, Remi, Gio, Player, Sypher, Ravage, and so many more.
Amber learns who her parents are and although she has all the right to be mad there;s also a touch of mother/daughter issue beyong the big issues.
This book also sets up some future books and you can right away what they may be. If you aren't up top date with the books prior to this one, make sure you read the Ann Silver series in the right order as they alternate along with Rebecca's books. It will be so much better if you do!
Happy Reading!

Rebecca Joyce once again delivers a dark, emotional, and gut-wrenching story in Massacre. Returning to Diamond Creek, we finally learn the truth about Massacre and Amber—two characters bound by trauma, secrets, and an unexpected past that changes everything.

This book is not for the faint of heart. It’s heavy with graphic scenes of SA and filled with raw emotion, but Joyce writes in a way that makes you feel every ounce of pain and resilience. The revelation that Massacre rescued Amber years ago, gave her his patch, and secretly married her is just the beginning. As always, more secrets unravel, old ghosts rise, and the web of lies tightens around the Golden Skulls MC.

Cameos from other beloved characters tie the story back into Joyce’s larger MC world, while setting the stage for Ravage’s book to come. Intense, brutal, and unforgettable, Massacre proves once again that Rebecca Joyce knows how to pull readers deep into her gritty, emotional universe.

I've been waiting for this book for so long and it was worth the wait!!!
Massacre has been one of my favorite characters through the whole series. I've always been told people hide their trauma behind laughter and jokes. Massacre's always been the comedian but he also has a soft side for those he loves. We learn about his past and see a different side of him in this story.
I'm been anxious to see what Ambers past is with how secretive King has been about her. She finally learns who her parents are and chaos unfolds from there. We learn about her traumatic past in this story.
Amber and Massacre are perfect for each other. They both have trauma and pasts to heal from. They both care deeply for each other and they both needed that kind of love. Massacre would do anything to keep Amber safe and he proves that in this story.
I can't wait to see what's next for this series!

Massacre and Amber, oh wow! This book picks up right where Ann Silver's Monster's Within left off. The first time Massacre rescued Amber, he walked away from her, for her. When she literally runs right out in front of him, needing help again, he's not walking this time. Massacre disobeys 2 club presidents and surrenders himself to keep Amber safe. But does it work? This book doesn't just have skeletons falling out of the closet, they are jumping out screaming "here I am!" So many twists, turns, and bumps in the road on the way to the hea. As always with Rebecca Joyce, for every question answered, we are left with two more. Buckle up Buttercup, the Golden Skulls are in town, and it's gonna be a helluva ride!

Amazing!!

This is the 16th book in this phenomenal series.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with found family, friendships, loyalty, challenges, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, tension, heartbreak, betrayal, deceit, loss, human trafficking, survival, soulmates, humour, witty banter, revelations, redemption, healing, violence, vengeance, and unconditional love, which all leads to an entertaining, twisted, tragic, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

amber and massacre are great ,they are such a beautiful couple. Together they can survive anything. They are two broken souls, that heal each other.

Both have been through a lot in life. And you can feel it bleeding off the pages. It's heartbreaking and will make you shed some tears. I couldn't stop reading it. It's such a wild rollercoaster ride with twists and turns.

It's filled with action, drama, love, twists, healing and much more.

The story opens where The Monsters Within by Ann Silver left off. This is the second time Massacre has rescued Amber, the first was a long time ago and he walked away to keep her safe, but not this time.

What a gripping read, so many twists, turns, tension, action, danger and heart-stopping moments. I love this crossover of characters from other series and the story threads that are still unfinished.

Oh my god, I’ve been waiting so long for Mass and Amber story. I didn’t know they’d be together but what a match they are 😍. This was I think by far the biggest rollercoaster ride for me. One minute I’m bawling, then cussing you out spitting mad, wanting to throw the kindle, to next second laughing so hard I’m about piss myself. But I’m incredibly happy that mass and Amber got their happy ever after , after all the trauma and turmoil they went through!! I can’t wait for what’s to come!

I experienced so many emotions while reading massacre. I felt happy then sad than angry . One minute I'm crying the next I'm so angry I want to throw my candle. I love the golden skulls. They are my favorite series of rebecca's. All I can say about this book is sit back, buckle in and be prepared for the ride of your life.

This book has some triggers to it. Please make sure you read through the list and be mindful of them.

This is a very intense read. Massacre has loved Amber since he laid eyes on her all those years ago. He didn't know how he would stay away from her, but he did to protect her. Now, she needed protection. Her past was coming back and it wasn't good.

Massacre needed to deal with the demons of his past or they will infect everyone he loved. Be ready for a very bumpy ride, cuz this is jam packed with a lot of deets if you have followed the series.

I have waited a long time for Massacre's book, and it did not disappoint. It's always wonderful to read Rebecca's work. Pairing Amber and Massacre was a fantastic choice; this book took me on an emotional journey, which is exactly what I love and expect from Rebecca. Each book leaves me wanting more, and that's why I am a fan.

You know the saying expect the unexpected? Well this book was totally unexpected. Of course with this author you really need to expect the unexpected lol. Who would have thought that Massacre would fall for Amber. Not many times does the big Alpha male fall before the female. I am so excited for the next book. You never know what will happen next.

War has started

Wow just wow. Massacre takes his responsibilities to heart and that is to keep Amber safe. They have both been through so much and their demons haunt them. But together they are able to feel safe and loved.

Beware this book has many triggers but it was so good.

I didn't realize Ann Silver wrote some books in this world noe so have to go back and read them.

like always, Ms. Joyce gives the readers a mystery to solve while reading. Massacre and Amber's story was another wonderful story with many twists and turns. At times, I caught myself grabbing for a box of tissues it was so heartbreaking. It makes me wonder how much more can this group go through before they find peace
