I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it. There was plenty of action and magical elements as well as battles against prejudice and superior attitudes.
Elara has special abilities which, for those that fear losing power, are a threat.
It's the third year at the school and threats abound from more than one direction.
All the characters suit the plot and I enjoyed the intricate plot and sense of place.
Engaging and recommended.

This is a continuation of a fascinating paranormal academy read, packed with intriguing plot twists. The characters are equally captivating.
