My enemies tried to destroy me, but I survived. They will fear what’s left of me.
I have been betrayed by both humans and dragons.
When fire didn’t kill me, my enemies threw me from a cliff and walked away. They thought ending my life would be easy.
They were wrong.
And I haven’t survived this long to run from a fight.
With my mates taken and tortured, every day that passes means I’m running out of time. But I will get them back. No matter what it takes, even if it destroys my soul.
The humans claim I’m a traitor. I’ve turned my back on my own people and have sided with beasts. They believe the dragons are monsters who want nothing more than to burn the world to the ground.
Once again, they’re wrong.
The monster they should fear is me.
Exquisite Monster is the second book in a why choose trilogy. All content warnings are available on the author's website.
Devyn Sinclair writes steamy Reverse Harem romances for your wildest fantasies. Every sexy story is packed with the right amount steam, fiery hot men, and delicious happy endings.
She lives in the wilds of Montana in a small red house with a crazy orange cat. When Devyn's not writing, she spends time outside in big sky country, continues her quest to find the best lemon pastry there is, drinks a lot of tea and buys too many books. (Of course!)
“Why do you believe you are no strong when your entire world has been turned upside down and you’re still standing?”
I will start by saying that I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank so much Devyn for sending a copy my way! This is a sequel; I will try and keep my review as spoiler free as possible but just be wary if you haven’t read first one.
My heart breaks for Lena. She’s ripped from her mates after just bonding with them and left for dead. An unlikely ally provides her sanctuary and reluctantly offers to help train her. She spends her days anxious and feeling helpless and frustrated that she is powerless to change anything. All this, while going through rigorous weapons training. For her whole life, she’s been a pawn in someone else’s game. Through this, Lena claws back her sense of power. She’s ready to burn the world down to protect those she loves, which I love to see.
Endre, Zovai and Sirrus were captured by Andaros. They are kept chained and drugged so Andaros can harvest their fire. Thankfully, despite being separated, they can communicate mentally. It grants them the ability to try to strategise their escape and allows them to support each other through their trauma. I appreciate how Devyn shows how hard it is to stay mentally strong when everything feels hopeless. It was done beautifully.
I was cheering when they reunited. I loved the quiet moments they had to reconnect after the trials they'd been through. It was equal parts sweet and steamy.
Vari is the real MVP. He refuses to leave Lena’s side. This little dragon, with his hoard of one coin, owns my heart and soul!
Excuse my vague gushing but know I loved every second. I am beyond excited for the sequel. I am 100% sure there will be some heartbreak before getting that sweet, sweet HEA. If you love your romantasy with a side of dragon shifters, fated mates, brewing war, political intrigue and why choose romance dynamic, you need to pick up this series!
Warning: the cliffhanger endings will cause you some pain and have your mind whirling with questions, but it’s so worth it.
You would think that by now I would expect to be hit with a freaking cliffhanger after every book of Devyn’s but here I am, anxious as hell waiting for book 3. The first book took me through a crazy emotional rollercoaster and this one was no different. Just like before, Vari is still the bestest character & I also loved Gleym. I love anything dragon related but Devyn is in a league of her own with this series. I was so excited when this hit my inbox that I immediately jumped into reading it. Life got in the way, so it took me longer to read than I wanted it to, but I am over the moon about these characters and the way their story has progressed as a quad… also those elders can kick rocks… Now, when do I get my hands on book 3? No rush… But all the rushing!
This is getting really good. Lana ends up in a pit with no way out and finds herself with her pet dragon in the home of a banished Elder. She learns many things while down there for close to 3 months. Meanwhile, her mates are getting tortured by her ex-fiancé the king. Lana finally gets out of the pit and with the help of some dragons rescues her mates. Of course that is only the beginning of what she goes through in this book. This was a good 2nd book. The stuff Lana goes through would make someone crazy. Her mates I'm surprised we're not worse than that after going through what the king did to them. I'm glad some of the humans are finally starting to see the truth of what is really happening. This ends on a cliffhanger and hopefully the next book comes quickly. Overall, this was a good read.
Eek! Book 2 was so freaking good! After the cliffhanger in book one I was more than ready to dive into this one. And let me tell you, at no point did I want to put this book down. If you love dragons, fated mates, action and a strong FMC: this one is for you!
It's finally here! Exquisite Monster has been one of my most anticipated reads ever since Devyn threw us off that monstrous cliffhanger in the first book. Devyn did not disappoint. Exquisite Monster was excellent.
Lena survived the fall, but she's not the same as before. She was still a princess, so she hadn't become some mighty warrior overnight, but Lena has gotten a little fire in her veins and has become dangerous in her own way. Girl's got skills, plus determination. I liked Lena before, but I like her even better now. However, that doesn't discount all Lena and her guys have been through. They've all been through a lot of trauma and are clearly showing signs of PTSD. When they finally made it back to each other, there was some healing to be done. The guys showed their vulnerable parts and helped Lena confront her feelings. It was some of the saddest yet sweetest moments that had me all in my feelings. Along with Vari, the little dragon is still absolutely adorable.
Tension between the humans and the dragons was high. After getting a better understanding of what happened in the past, I can't really blame the dragons for their anger. I do blame the Elders for acting exactly like the lies Andaros and his rotten bloodline perpetuated. I knew they were villains, but after another revelation, I now understand just how rotten they are. Furthermore, I'm hoping that both Andaros and the elders get exactly what they deserve. Andaros isn't fully capable of controlling himself; how he got all the other rulers to fall for his BS is beyond me.
Exquisite Monster was spectacular! I loved every minute of it. There were some fantastic new characters and good plot development. However, Devyn has done it again. It's finally here! Exquisite Monster was spectacular! I loved every minute of it. There were some fantastic new characters and good plot development. However, Devyn has done it again. She left us on another cliffhanger although this one isn't as bad as the previous book. Either way, I'm already looking forward to the next book.
This book picks up right where the first one ended. We learn about the big picture involving the human and dragons. What the end goal is for the Andaros (ex fiancé) as well as the Elder Dragons. We are introduced to some new characters, who add another layer of depth to the plot. We do have some spice that Devyn Sinclair is known for but this was definitely more plot driven. I’m not disappointed at all because when we did get the spicy stuff, it was hot!
Lena is separated from her mates, captured by her evil and corrupted ex fiancé. Lena is left for dead by the hands of the same ex fiancé who took her mates.
Lena meets an unlikely character who has an interesting way of “teaching” her survival and expanding her knowledge. The dynamic between them is intriguing and I am hoping to learn even more about them later own. Lena struggles with the separation, the fear of never finding them, as well as being trapped so far from the sky and above ground.
Endre, Sirrus, and Zovai taken away, kept drugged to be used for their fire. They maintain their mental strength as hard as it is. They suffer their trauma that comes to survive. I love them individually, they all carry a strong presence without overshadowing one another. Very distinct personalities, that keeps things interesting.
We are left on another cliffhanger but Devyn builds the drama beautifully. I am definitely invested in the characters, the world, and how this story will be completed. Thank you so much for allowing me to be on your ARC team! It’s been amazing!
We are left at the end of book 1 with a pretty hard cliffhanger. Book 2 picks up from there. We meet some new characters in this book, both human and dragon. There is definitely a rebellion/resistance type feel to the story, and it was magical.
I'm trying to figure out how much to reveal as I don't want to spoil anything! Being this is book 2, you should have already read book 1. If you haven't, do not proceed until you do! Hah.
We know that the Dragon Elders are trying to wipe out humans. We also know SOME of the humans want to wipe out dragons or better yet control them (which will never happen). Humans have been lied to for many decades as the original information from when dragons and humans lived in harmony has been lost. Some people, like Lena, only know some things because of the stories her grandmother would tell her as she was growing up.
"We do what we can."
Much of book 2 is Lena trying to figure out how to help get back to her mates. They are also trying to do the same and get back to her. Lena is no damsel in distress waiting to be rescued though. With the help of some allies, she works on saving THEM. I loved that. She is human, and like most paranormal or fantasy stories, there is nothing inherently special about her. She doesn't have any supernatural abilities, which makes her even more of a baddie for the things she goes through and does! Her fortitude is amazing, and she pushes herself to help those she loves.
This also ends on a mild cliffhanger, but it doesn't hurt as much as the 1st one. This was a quick, engaging read with good pacing and plot. I am eagerly awaiting the next book which I believe will be the conclusion to the story.
I don't think I've ever anticipated a second book in a series this badly before. I'm so glad that Sinclair finally got this one ready for us. I was very happy to see Lena's character growth in this book, both physically and mentally. That's not saying that she wasn't already a phenomenal character as is, since she began this series with such a unique point of view and wasn't exactly a weak woman. However, she really played on her strengths in this book and improved on the things that she was capable of being able to help out in any way she could. Many people and dragons will underestimate her in the future and I'm sure she will definitely surprise them. Some of the side characters really shined in this book as well. Gleym and Vari get 10's all around. I loved them both for different reasons, but they both were phenomenal support systems for Lena when she needed them most. They each had very distinct ways of supporting, I'd say even being the complete opposite of each other, but both were exactly what she needed at the moment. I hope we see more of Gleym in the next book. The cliffhanger for this book is a lot less intense than the previous book, and for that I am grateful, however, it is still very ominous. I have ideas about what happened or what could have possibly happened, but it could go in very different directions depending on the situation and if it was a plan concocted by Gleym when she said she wanted to “help” (hoping it is this one because that would be so hilarious and would definitely be a shocker for the dragons) or if someone finally pulled a fast one on her. Doubt it though, she's a baddie. Looking forward to finding out for sure in the next book!
#ARC. WOW! What an adventure! Without giving too much away...This second installment of The Dragons of Viria starts at a very dark time for Lena and her mates, Endre, Zovai and Sirrus. If you've read the first book, then you know that their happiness was short lived at the end of it. While separated the four of them used their love for one another through the mate bond to hold on to what was important. Though they didn't know the circumstances for Lena and vice versa, they knew that they were all alive and therefore stood a fighting chance, no matter how minute. Lena was tested once again with her circumstances. Thrusted into dangerous environments, the heirs and Lena were forced to find the mental strength to keep enduring. It was amazing to see the skills Lena learned and the determination to do what she could until the time was right. The heart of this book were the friends and new allies who risked everything to try and save everything. Through it all, the mates still found time no matter how little; to show one another that love and hope was still at the root of everything. This book was passionate and deliciously spicy! Adventurous yet dark in some places but filled with hope and determination to try and save both dragons and mankind. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything wraps up in the finale to this trilogy. Amazing adventure! 💜
This book was so good. I love me a good romance that is fantasy and features dragons or any kind of shifters. I loved Katalena and her men.
I’m a huge sucker for a woman that becomes stronger as the book progresses along. The way she stopped at nothing until they were all together was everything for me. I was a little confused and now have to go back and read the first book because this world has sucked me in where I need and want more.
Also, I loved Vari such more. I really loved all the side characters that helped Katalena and her mates. I really hope the next installment of this book is just as amazing because this had me wanting more. The way it ended makes you want so much more.
The spice was spicy and I loved that she got to have her men in the way she deserved. I absolutely loved all of them together. The angst we did get was more than I even expected.
I really loved all the different POV’s because you get to see how they are feeling or what’s happening to them and how things just mesh together so perfectly. I need the next book like now.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Whew. Okay. So here’s the thing—by 20% in, I was bored out of my mind. The way book 1 ended, I expected book 2 to come in swinging, but instead I got pages and pages of unnecessary information I honestly could’ve done without (no spoilers, but why did I need that much of it?).
Then suddenly at 38% we hit a climax out of nowhere. It felt like whiplash—slow… BAM… slow… BAM. The pacing was just off for me. Honestly, if you trimmed all the rambling and condensed the story, books 1 and 2 could have easily been one solid, killer book.
And here’s the real difference for me: Book 1, even with the extra detail I didn’t always need, pulled me in. I devoured it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. Book 2? It took actual effort to get through. I kept putting it down… so much so that I read two other books in between because it just wasn’t holding my attention.
Now don’t get me wrong—it’s written well. But unlike book 1, it didn’t keep me enthralled, and instead of giving me the answers I was craving, it left me with even more questions.
Overall, this one just felt lackluster compared to the first. But hey, reading is subjective—everyone has their own cup of tea. This just wasn’t mine. And now? I’m side-eyeing book 3, hoping it swoops in to redeem this rollercoaster of a series.
4 ⭐️ 4 🔥 Fantasy Romance Why Choose Dragon Shifters Mates Arranged Marriage Runaway Bride The Chosen One Captures/Captive Touch Her & Die Cliffhanger ⚠️This book gets a little darker, including torture scenes. Please check content/trigger warnings.⚠️ After the cliffhanger from book one, Beautiful Beast, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one!! We got so much information and expansion in this book. Along with more time with my favorite dragon, Vari! Devyn doesn’t shy away from these characters having to go through h*ll, with hope to save their world. She also makes it a point, that they didn’t set out to be the chosen ones, and the weight of the world in heavy. There is torture, grief, pain, love, friendship and new allies, politics, and maybe just a little hope. && of course another cliffhanger! In this series, Dragons & Humans are at war. Katalena is a human princess, arranged to marry a terrible prince to form an alliance against the dragons. But Katalena longs for a different world, an old world, where the humans and dragons were allies. Then Dragons interrupt her wedding, with one intention, to kill her. But when the time comes for her death, the flames never come. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
This book starts off right where book one ended. The pace is slow moving but you are getting so much information about the relationship between the dragons and humans, and what the elders are up too. Katalena was thrown into a pit that was meant to cause her death but what she found was another Dragon with immense power a banished Elder that helped her find her true strength. Endre and SIrrus and Zovai are being helped captive and tortured by Lena's crazy Ex with plans to break and Control them. What he never expected was the strength and determination of Lena and their mate bonds. Lena truly comes into her strength and also shows so much vulnerability, she struggles with the idea of losing her mates and how angry she is. Endre also finds out some truths and is determined to take back his powers. I love this story and am so excited for the next book. This book was a little slower than the first one but still very enjoyable, i loved getting back stories about the past and seeing what the futures might bring. The cliff hanger leaves you wanting more and knowing the action that is going to come makes the wait feel that much longer. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.
OMG!! EPIC-NESS!!! Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2025 Devyn Sinclair is one of my absolute favorite authors!!! The tales she can twist and create!!! Pure Epic-ness!!! This book is no different!! Picks up where book 1 left off and let me tell you it's a freaking rollercoaster!!! OMG!!! Katelena has her work cut out for her!! All she knows is her men are alive! The bond will tell no more than that and vice-versa!! But oh man the trials to get to back each other are monumental!! Andaros finally reveals his end goal and why dragons and humans are even against each other!!! Now it's a race against time to convince not only humans but the dragons as well that this war is pointless!!! With the help of some unique and un suspecting allies we can hopefully achieve that goal!!! There's just one problem..... Andaros is ready for War!!! Cannot wait for book 3!!! Ended on a cliffy and based on that... Oh book 3 is gonna be even better!!! I mean come on! It's Devyn Sinclair!!! When has she not delivered on a series?!?!? Never!! Book 3 will be just as Epic if not more so based on this book!!! Cannot wait!!!
The cliffhanger on book 1 devastated me for several days so when Exquisite Monster appeared on my kindle I had no doubts: time to drop everything, I am ready to get hurt again.
Exquisite Monster starts off right where Beautiful Beast ended: in the pits of despair. Our heroine has been separated from her mates and everything is looking bleak. In order to save her mates and mostly herself, she needs to become stronger - and Gleym, a ‘forgotten’ dragon she meets along the way, has taken up the role to help her grow stronger.
This book is a lot less smutty than we’re used to from Devyn Sinclair, but for me that made everything all the sweeter. When they finally are together again, they focus on working on their connection, finding safety in each other, relishing in the comfort of being around their loved ones. There’s so much work to do, so much corruption to overthrow, but they are surrounded by wonderful people which makes everything a lot less despair-ish. I would even call it wholesome, if there wasn’t a war about to go down and all. The ending was less devastating than the Beautiful Beast cliffhanger, but I still cannot wait for book 3!
⭐ 4.5/5 — A Fierce, Addictive Sequel Exquisite Monster picks up seamlessly after Beautiful Monster, and Katalena’s journey just gets better. Her strength and vulnerability balance beautifully, and watching her dynamic with Endre, Sirrus, and Zovai evolve is half the thrill. The banter is sharp, the heat is undeniable, and even Varí the dragon manages to steal scenes with his grumpy charm.
What I loved: the chemistry between the mates is electric, and Sinclair nails that blend of passion and high stakes. The worldbuilding keeps expanding without ever slowing down the tension, and the mix of humor and heart makes the darker moments hit harder.
Where it could sharpen: occasionally the pacing dips when reflection lingers too long, and some scene transitions could use a little more grounding detail. But these are small quibbles in an otherwise immersive ride.
Bottom line: Sinclair proves this series isn’t losing steam—it’s gaining momentum. Exquisite Monster is lush, witty, and deliciously addictive. Katalena and her monsters have me hooked, and I’ll be first in line for the next chapter.
Goddess above, Devyn the hurt is so good I could drown in it. This book carved me open in the most exquisite way, its wicked seduction, each page laced with agony that tastes like ecstasy. The betrayal, the fire, the fall, all of it only sharpens the hunger, pulling me deeper into a world where danger and desire are one and the same.
What makes this tale unforgettable is not just the sheer ferocity of the heroine’s will, but the way the world itself feels alive, wicked, and pulsing with temptation. The heroine doesn’t just survive; she thrives in the ruin, turning her pain into power, her fury into something dangerously intoxicating. Every heartbeat of her vengeance feels like a dark caress, every promise of blood and fire like a kiss meant to burn. This isn’t just a tale of survival, it's a dance on the knife’s edge of passion and peril, a world dripping with shadows, heat, and the kind of temptation that leaves you begging for more. This is not a soft story; it's a brutal, intoxicating symphony of survival, vengeance, and love that claws its way under your skin and refuses to let go. I’m ruined, and I want more.
I would wait forever to be immersed in more of this world, where dragons are not monsters but mirrors, to the darkness and desire within us.
Reading this book made me wish that I can always be calm and optimistic about every situation that I read in a book but reading chapter one just made me want to burn the world for these dragons. It made me hope that the next chapters would be showing peace and calm now that Lena and her mates are together again but...NO, there is no peace for their lives. Most of the chapters for me were pure pain, anger and sorrow. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY FR. I am praying for their well-deserved HEA in book 3.
But kudos to Lena and her mates that, even though they just went through every kind of pain and torture, they will always get back up to stay strong for themselves and their mates, for their family because they need each other. It also make me so happy to see that despite the challenges and struggles Lena and her mates encounter, they won't let it break them because them breaking means they let their enemies win and that won't do it. Despite all the angst this book gives, there are happy moments for the FMC and the MMCs. Although the cliffhanger just made me want to throw a fit.
Lena is an amazing FMC. After the cliffhanger in book 1 we finally get answers of what happened to her. She comes back even fiercer than before. But she and her mates all go through trauma before finding each other again and they need to heal. Vari is the star with how adorable, loyal and fiercely protective he is of Lena. With all of them set on foiling the evil King and his plans things are getting serious. I also liked the addition of Isaelle and Dalas. They're good allies. The character development in this book was good overall as we see Lena growing into her own and learning the cost of doing the right thing. Her mates too have grown - not just in their adoration of Lena but in their belief that she is more than capable. In the end the successful mission they undertake has unexpected consequences that could be costly but we won't know how much till book 3, so I'll be anxiously waiting.
Oh man. This book was a blast. it had everything, things that made me laugh, cry, made my chest tight and gave me a lump in my throat. I was sol ooking forward to this book and it didnt disappoint. Answers were revealed, secrets were brought to life and this book had a literal choke hold on me. I read it in one sitting like I do with most of Devyn's books. the writing was captivating and it had everything i wanted and some I didnt know I wanted. Even the ending I should have known but it still made my heart stop.
The growth of the characters was incredible, the way the emotions and fears were explored was inspiring and touching. The relationship between the main characters was amazing but the friendships and progression of the side characters were just as great. Seeing Vari grow in confidence and the relationships with Lena and her men was amazing.
I liked this book. After that enormous cliffhanger at the end of book 1, we were left we so many questions. A lot of them were answered. The bound between the FMC and her dragons is definitely put to the test with all of them suffering for about half the book. There was a lot more intrigue than I was expecting too, a great world building and backstory for the world of Viria and the war between dragons and humans. There's one thing that kind of bothered me, although I do understand why it happened this way, but there is very little actually happening for like 50% or so of the book. No action at all, no relationship building, no nothing except for pain and sadness. I don't want to say too much and spoil the book so I'll leave it to that, but it was honestly a very good story and I'm already excited for the next one.
Exquisite Monster picks up right where book one left off and dives deeper into the fragile balance between humans and dragons. The pacing is slower but the worldbuilding is rich with insight into the elders, their schemes, and the true power dynamics at play.
Katalena’s journey is brutal yet powerful. Thrown into a pit meant to kill her, she instead finds strength and an unexpected ally who helps her uncover her true power. Meanwhile, her mates Endre, Sirus, and Zovai are trapped and tortured by her unhinged ex, who underestimates just how unbreakable their bonds are.
Lena shines in this book: fierce, vulnerable, and unwilling to give up on those she loves. The mix of raw emotion, mate bond tension, and revelations had me hooked. I am ready for book 3! 3.5⭐ I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
I received this as an ARC from the author and absolutely loved it! I have been super excited for this book as the previous one did end on a cliffhanger and this did not disappoint!
This book picks up pretty much right where the last one ended. Our FMC is split up from the MMCs and things are going down but not in the good sense. We get to learn more about the world and the plans of the big bad and meet some new characters!
Overall, I really enjoyed this! Our FMC is starting to become stronger so she can save her mates. Loved our little dragon friend as well! And the whole group as a whole starting to work through what they have gone through together was so good! The spice was spicy of course! Can't wait for the next one!
It took my brain a few chapters to get with the program & remember everything that happened with the first book. I should have done a reread! Butttt oh my god… just wow. Maybe the cliffhanger isn’t as oh my fucking god what did you just put me through as the first one but seriously still! I can’t imagine having to wait for book three.
I loved the new characters we met & the more history background we learned. I’m seriously loving this world. But my heart hurt for everything the characters had to go through. I’m hoping we get more books from this world because I’m really liking the new characters. I still can’t get over that ending because just when I thought yessss were making progress everything’s going good. BAM HAHA JUST KIDDING! I can’t wait for book three. Seriously.
Oh my, lanta! I have been waiting for this book for what feels like FOREVER! Boy was the wait worth it. This book is incredible and picks up right where we left off in the first Dragons of Vira. 100% Full of the excellent world and character building we know and expect from Devyn.
All of the characters, honestly, go through some trial and learn their capabilities are more than they initially thought. Lena really learns some survival skills, is pushing to be strong, and learns to accept her anger in the path to healing and acceptance.
Her doting mates are everything you would expect and more from dragons. This book ended on a bit of a cliffy, but nothing like the first one. Definitely cannot wait for the next book in the series!
I was so excited to get back into Lena's world. Thankfully, we dont have to wait long to find out what happened to Lena. This book picks up after the first and it quickly pulled me in! There was danger, emotional moments, new friendships, and spice. We also learn a lot of important things in this book and some truths are revealed.
Lena shines in this book. Her growth alone was big, but it was her courage and determination to get back to her mates. I loved seeing Lena and her mates grow closer too. After everything they went through, I was glad they were back together. I think this was a great addition to the series. I cant wait for book 3, because this does end on another cliffhanger!
Note this must be read after book one in the series.
First, I'd like to state that I've both read ans reviewed this book whilst on holiday overseas, so apologies if it's not up to my usual coherent standards.
But holy moly, what a read this one was! We pick up from where book 1 left off, and we dive straight into the action and the drama.
Sinclair doesn't hold back in this one, giving us so much story, and each character gaining a lot of growth, strength and development.
This one does read a bit slower than book 1, but certainly doesn't hold back on continuing the story of Lena and her mates.
Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
Devyn Sinclair…you left us on a cliff hanger the last book and you leave us wanting more again. Exquisite Monster is book two in the Dragons of Viria series and I am still as addicted to this series now as I was with book 1. We have Lana thrown into the middle of the worked banished basically trying to find her way out and learning how to survive and rescue her mates once she does. And we get the POVs from her mates and what they are also enduring at the same time. I thought the story progression was great. The continuous character building of Lana equally as fantastic. Devyn always writes characters that I care about and Lana is no different. I really look forward to the next book and can’t wait to see how this all concludes!
Quick moving. Loved being back in the world of Viria. Lena is falling, right where book one leaves off, and the Heirs of the dragons are captured.
The story unfolds well. Lots of back and forth between POVs. Keeping you updated on where each of them are in the journey.
I liked the way the story unfolded. And the strength of the characters that were uncovered. It is fast paced and heartfelt. It ends on another cliffhanger. And the last book is gonna be quite the story judging based on what we learned in this book.
I enjoyed each page of this story. And am exited to continue the series. I received this as an ARC for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
