This book was a good summary of the Route and Switch exams to help prep for the TSHOOT exam. I did rather well, thank you. I really should have started this book sooner, as it would have been a good supplement to the Route and Switch prep books. I don't suggest taking TSHOOT until you finish the other two. I do find it funny how Cisco has such different formats between all these Cert Guides, in little ways, like whether the chapter test question answers are footnotes, or in an appendix. There are different eBook editions, and some include practice tests, and they may be the same price. So, I'll let you know if those practice tests are any good when I pass the appropriate tests. I used the Boson NetSim for lab practice and it was just fine. I've got a lot of practical experience and it did take me all the time, but I let myself get fooled on a question or two, and took too long on them.
A very good one. I did pass the exam. And most of what I've learned was from this book. I did every configuration in GNS3. It's really easy to learn networking with cisco. There is plenty of study materials. And this one is definitely worth it. I recommand it.
