Some people get ghosted. Others get ghosts.

Seven years ago, Madeline chronicled the first twenty-two years of her life in ghost stories. Now, older, wiser, and a bit more clairsentient, she’s back with more.

Robins is a collection of thirty true ghost stories with a little something for everyone. From things that go bump in the night, to dreams that seem a little too real, to final Robins is a followup you won’t want to miss.

A great creepy little book that set the tone for October perfectly!

As someone who also has a strong intuition to the paranormal this book creeped me out in some parts but also made me tear up in others. Especially with the stories about the Robins, my dad likes to leave me rabbits so I can absolutely relate to those stories. This one to me felt a little more on the creepy side than Feathers but tbh stories with kids seeing ghosts are always like 100x more scary to me so those stories are absolutely what got me feeling the heebie-jeebies. Cannot wait to see where the ghosts will take you for book 3!

Hi! I wrote this book and I just finished the final read through so I’m adding it to my reading challenge for the year.

Robins is a collection of ghost stories, which, by default, means it deals with death. Some other potentially triggering topics discussed as part of these ghost stories are grief, domestic abuse, 9/11, adoption, the Covid-19 pandemic, and dementia. Take care of yourself first. If you’re up to it, I welcome you to my life in ghost stories.
