A new term begins at Wandhurst Academy, and Beatrice Brown is ready for anything—except the nightmares.
When students across the school begin falling into unnaturally deep sleeps filled with haunting dreams, whispers spread of an ancient figure from Newborough the Sandman. But this is no harmless bedtime tale. Something sinister is at work, and the boundary between dreams and reality is wearing dangerously thin.
With her loyal friends by her side and her magical instincts sharper than ever, Bea must unravel the mystery behind the Sandman before the entire school succumbs to an eternal slumber. But as secrets surface and loyalties are tested, she’ll discover that some dreams don’t want to stay buried
This book was absolutely amazing as was the first one, gripped me from the start was a brilliant fast read, a lot of emotions reading this book and the fact that it’s got dragons in was absolutely amazing and I love the new villain in this book sandman this is a must read
This book was as amazing as her first book and the story carried on and was so brilliant I was so excited to sink my fangs into this and it certainly didn't disappoint in anyway whats so ever x
4.5✨ I loved this book it was so so good 😍 the story was fast paced and we have a new villain who I loved “The Sandman” 😅 Kristy did such an amazing job at writing this book the characters even though are 1 year old seem more mature and confident which I loved. Even Bea and her mum relationship has become so what better, that is due to her mum now understand Bea more.
And omg the dragons!!! You don’t understand how happy I was to read about them 🙈
Thank you for the arc Kristy you are such a wonderful person 🥰
Another amazing read, the author paints an incredible magical world, this year takes a darker turn then book 1 where Bea and her friends are faced with a new enemy of the light this time the sandman is after them.
I really enjoyed the creatures, meeting new characters this book was showing not to judge a book by its cover and know your self worth! The growth of the main character is brillaint with the life lessons the book presents for younger readers
This series is great for anyone who is obsessed with magical world
Knowing book 3 is in the making i wait patiently for the conclusion of bea's adventures
K.D.Davis kindly sent this to myself and my daughter as an arc. This is book 2 in the Beatrice Brown novella series and Beatrice has a new enemy, the sandman. Not only is this a great story but we now have folklore combined within it. Both my daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed this book. K.D.Davis has a magical way with words that seem to draw you into this world and keep you engaged throughout. This is a teen / YA book but don’t let that stop you from reading it as it’s a magical fantasy that draws you into its world.
