Neighbors & Grumpy: A Sweet Small Town Opposites Attract Romance

Rate this book
I don’t do partners.
Now I’m stuck with the sunshine next door.

Abby Brooks is the kind of woman you protect, not pull into your mess.

She’s sweet, stubborn, and way too good for a guy like me.

But the town council didn’t ask. They shoved us into this farmers market project like we’re some dream team.

She’s got hope in her eyes. I’ve got scars I don’t talk about.

I try to keep my distance. She laughs when I growl and keeps showing up.

And for the first time in years, I start to want more than just being useful. I want her.

Then someone breaks into her home and wreaks havoc at the market.

Now the town’s pointing fingers. Her ex is circling. And she’s looking at me like I might be the next one to let her down.

If I don’t fight for her—for us—I’ll lose the only woman who ever saw past my silence… and made me believe I was worth saving.

Neighbors & Grumpy is a sweet, clean & wholesome, standalone romance in the Redbud Ridge Romances series—perfect for readers who love grumpy/sunshine banter, small-town gossip, and neighbors who can’t mind their own business. This opposites-attract story proves that sometimes the best sparks fly when you least expect them… and that love can be the biggest renovation of all.

I absolutely loved reading Abby and Jackson's story! Abby is our always smiling FMC who tries to look out for everyone and just wants to carry on her Grandmother's legacy. Jackson, our MMC, is former military, suffers from PTSD, likes things very orderly, doesnt smile often but its amazing when he does, and fixes things that when noone is looking. He has an awesome service dog, Daisy who stole my heart! Watching this story unfold was captivating, emotional, and a joy to read. I loved every bit of their story. This was a read that I will return to! I just wish there was an epilogue... I need to know what happens next! Im too invested now!
