This book was very helpful in understanding sign language. Me personally I like to see a person teach me something instead of a book sometimes it was easy to know what they were asking the reader to do I think because I knew some of the signs but learning signs from a book is kinda hard. But the information that I got from the book was amazing. I just recently learned that different people such as the French, British, Asian, etc had their own sign language. But learning from this book the French actually started it and America needed their help in a sense to start theirs but everyone has their own unique way of doing it. It's not all the same and it also on your body language, dialog, face ,hands, etc not everybody's signing is the same and there are some factors to always think about when signing. I think before when I wanted to learn to sign I was fascinated by the deaf culture and what they had to go through to communicate and thought it was so cool it was like learning a different language. Not really thinking in thought about the body language, facial expressions and my hands. Which could've been hurting the person I was signing to and them not understanding me. Which I don't want I want a way to communicate with everyone. And this book not only showed where it all started but a way to communicate in more depth than you can imagine or ever thought about. I actually learned a lot and want to pursue more about signing actually with these thoughts in mind.

This book is a great resource for beginners and also works well for anyone who wants to brush up on their signing skills. It provides a solid foundation for learning signs used to communicate with the Deaf community in a clear and approachable way. I especially appreciated the inclusion of QR codes, which allow you to scan and see the signs demonstrated visually. Being able to watch the movements makes a big difference in understanding proper hand shapes and motion. The layout is simple and easy to navigate, which helps prevent feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it’s a practical and user-friendly guide for anyone interested in learning or improving their sign language skills.A
This book was really interesting and very resourceful. The only issue I had was the placement of the pictures, but once you get the hang of it, it’s really good. I really enjoyed reading it. It’s short, straight to the point, and you learn a lot of the basics. I also liked that it includes a bonus video at the end of the book.
