Aleksei é o executor da Bratva Antonov. Frio, calculista e acostumado a pagar por prazer, carrega o peso da vingança pela morte dos pais. É o segundo de quatro irmãos e vive sem se envolver emocionalmente.
Lena, por sua vez, é uma universitária bolsista e órfã. Quando seu melhor amigo — praticamente um irmão — desaparece a poucos meses da formatura, ela decide arriscar tudo para encontrá-lo. O caminho a leva até a Bratva, e o contato que deveria ajudá-la acaba sendo justamente o homem mais velho e irresistível que lhe proporcionou a melhor noite de sexo da vida, sem revelar seu nome. Naquela noite, ele era apenas daddy.

O protagonista masculino traz desde o início um fetiche de reprodução 🤣, e a protagonista embarca sem hesitar. Grande parte da narrativa gira em torno desse desejo de engravidar, o que torna o título bastante direto e sugestivo 😅.

No fim, é uma forofa hot com foco no fetiche de reprodução: leitura rápida, leve e divertida, sem grandes pretensões.

I really enjoyed this one, especially after reading a string of messy romances that did not land well. This felt more grounded and satisfying. What starts as a one night stand quickly spirals into a dangerous, high stakes adventure.

Aleksei’s character shift was my favorite part. Watching him go from guarded enforcer to fierce protector added real emotional weight to the story. At times the transformation felt rushed, like neither character fully matched who they eventually became, but the intensity still carried the romance.

My biggest issue was the ending. I will not spoil it, but I wish it had been handled with more care because the story deserved a stronger finish.

Even with that flaw, this was an entertaining read with solid tension, action, and romance. It stood out in a good way compared to a lot of similar books I have picked up lately.

What a journey!

I started with book 2. I'm so glad that book made me curious about this couple's beginning. What a ride?! There's passion, action, betrayal, espionage, and a not-so-surprising pregnancy! They were getting it in! 😆
