A bold, addictive love story that keeps you hooked. This book delivers a sizzling, emotional ride where two very different worlds collide. Angel and Hook are compelling, flawed, and impossible not to root for, and their chemistry jumps off the page. The story balances passion with real-life struggles—past trauma, secrets, and hard choices—making the romance feel raw and authentic. It’s intense, messy, and deeply engaging, proving that love doesn’t always follow the rules. A gripping read that will have you turning pages late into the night.
Wow!!! Did I stay up until 2 am reading because I couldn't put it down? Yes. Did I regret it the next morning? Absolutely NOT. But this book? THIS BOOK?? Oh god what an emotional rollercoaster. Hook and Angel are just so ugh! Their trauma, their healing journeys... the struggles they go through and learn from. When I t ell you I sobbed for them... the last chapter had me bawling & the epilogue was PERFECT. 10/10 The spice?? Goodness gracious. 🥵
She got straight into itt. Hook an Angel gets interesting within the first 5 pages. I loved it because there was a hint of smut, but still a plot. There’s a perfect amount of everything; drama, romance(which was perfect), a storyline, etc. Sensitive men made me love the book even more. This book proves that some Indie Authors books are better than some best selling authors. It’s a comfort read. Highly recommended! I’ll most likely read it again. I hope the author makes a part two.
This is not my first time reading Hook and Angel's love story. I was introduced to them originally on Wattpad. This was one of the books I waited for updates on. I definitely enjoyed revisiting them and getting to support @kwesleywrites915 on her new platform. If you haven't been introduced to her work. Head over to Amazon and get your copy of "Hook An Angel". You won't regret it❤️✨️
Opposites Attract In this debut novel, Ms. Wesley drops interesting characters into a contemporary St. Louis background. Angel’s educated and financially successful. Hook finished a GED and has a criminal record to go with his struggling towing and auto repair shop. But the attraction is stronger than the magnets in an MRI. Keep a fan close at hand when reading.
Wow. I went through every emotion reading this book anger, tears, laughter, and pure joy. The characters felt so alive, their struggles so authentic. It’s not just about love but about redemption and second chances. The twists and secrets kept me on edge till the very end. Absolutely five stars!
