I’m not the omega people keep. Not my parents, the foster families that took me in, or the occasional partners I’ve been with.

It’s better this way, though. I can study all night and see my best friends whenever, even if going to bed alone is wearing on me. But when an angry customer destroys my car and threatens to do worse if he finds me, Pack Sterling steals me away, thrusting me into a life of luxury I never knew before.

Only soft for me, Gunnar; sweet, stalker Brooks; and unseen Evan make me feel wanted for the first time. In their perfect house, with their delicious scents and the way they make my heart race, I start to wonder if I can have the life I’ve secretly dreamed of.

Men who dote on me, alphas willing to disembowel anyone who looks at me sideways. But I’m still the omega that no one wants long-term.

Who says a scent match will change that?

Knot to Worry is the first of a series of cozy interconnected omegaverse standalones with steam, but the story is complete on its own!

DNF at 58%. Got sick of the constant woe is me. Every interaction was followed by either the FMC or one of her alphas feeling sorry for themselves about how they didn't deserve the relationship and how the other person would probably leave. Almost every damn page. One compliment to two negative thoughts. One kiss or cuddle to three negative thoughts. I was rolling my eyes by halfway through.

Then let's talk about how the MCs knew things that they shouldn't. The one that's been in love with her for 3 years lets on that he has cameras in her workplace and she immediately knows then that he also has cameras in her house? How???

One pack member has known for 3 years that she's their mate but another doesn't know at all. When he meets her he's upset because he can't smell her but then says some of her smell came through and she's his scent match. ............but when his packmate comes he's not at all surprised that they know each other and that he knows they're scent matches. So did he or did he not know about her beforehand? Because he acts and talks internally like he didn't.

Also why tf did this guy spend 3 years not letting her know they were mates and only visiting her at work sometimes when her being someone who works for them didn't matter at all when the head alpha found out and brought her home? What a waste of time for such a dumb reason.

Have you ever read a new omegaverse author and thought they read too many books by one or two existing authors and tried WAY too hard to emulate their style? Thatʼs what I felt while reading Knot To Worry. One of the things I love most about finding new OV authors is learning their unique take on the world and lore, but it is very clear when they went in and read an existing authorʼs entire backlist and now are trying to decisively copy the things that made that author successful. It comes through in little sayings Iʼve only read in one authorʼs work. In the scenes that are just a little different but feel too familiar.

Thatʼs just my take. I imagine a lot of readers will like this, but Iʼve been reading omegaverse daily since 2021 or 2022 and itʼs as obvious to me at this point as it is when dark academy bully had itʼs hayday.

Loved Without Limits

I really enjoyed this story, even though I found the FMC a bit annoying at times with her negative energy. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience; I devoured this book. I loved the insta-love feel and how the alphas consistently showed Sadie every single day that she was it for them and that they were never going to give up on her.

Sadie is an omega who was dealt a truly crappy hand from infancy. Put up for adoption and never wanted her entire life, those wounds deeply affect her self-worth and her ability to believe she’s lovable. She works as a barista at Sunny’s, a local coffee shop, where a confrontation with an angry beta completely ruins her day, until she’s rescued by her longtime crush, Brooks Sterling.

The Sterling Pack is made up of three incredible alphas. Gunner, the older alpha, has a Daddy kink that plays a significant role in his relationship with Sadie. He was such a fantastic character, and I loved how attentively he cared for Sadie’s needs as well as the pack’s. Brooks is the feral, obsessive alpha who’s been all-in from the moment he met Sadie; yes, even borderline stalking her for years. His devotion to her was intense and unwavering. Evan was a breath of fresh air. He never wanted an omega, but meeting Sadie flipped his world upside down, and he fell hard. While their relationship felt a bit stunted at times, they were still great together.

These alphas fiercely protected their omega from an unhinged stalker and worked tirelessly to keep her heart safe, even when she was drowning in negative thoughts and emotions. I’m very much looking forward to whatever this author writes next.

***2.5 stars***

Felt too....messy and all over the place. The author kept forgetting details about the characters - and the prior scenes - so it got confusing because one second, a character didn't know something, and then the next, they knew the whole time. It was contradictory, like the author changed details as the story progresses but they forgot to go back and edit/change the details.

It also was emotionally redundant. FMC and the MMCs ALL had insecurities that was repeated over and over. It added to the word count but I feel half the scenes were unnecessary and didn't move the point forward, or were needed. The author said this book started out as a novella and honestly, I believe that.

Also, the author told but didn't show. How can you tell us these men - these rich, powerful men that have the fucking police in their pocket, more money than god, and thought of hiring mercenaries - couldn't find one, mousey man? A man that had no real power, was stupid as shit, and had ZERO resources and assets like they did to hide from literal mercenaries and personal guards? But he was able to get close to the FMC twice without issue. It was a ridiculous storyline used to get the FMC to have to live with the alphas and trust them faster.

Not for me. I only finished it because I enjoyed Brooks and Evan. Even Brooks though pissed me off. The author made him seem like this OBSESSED alpha that would do anything for her. But he took 3 years to approach her because he didn't fuck employees?? Let her believe he was mated and never thought to correct her or, at least, speak on his future intentions? And he let the poor girl drown in debt, wear winter coats that didn't keep her warm, stalked her by watching videos - from cameras he bugged in her room - and gladly watched her do yoga while he gooned to her, but couldn't buy the girl a new pack of socks when he saw on the same video her socks got holes in them? It was very, "She's Cinderella, she is poor. Poor poor poor. But she's hot and I don't care that she's poor. So poor she has holes in her socks. But still, so hot. Did I mention she's poor?"

I liked Gunner but the dd/lg did not feel like it was researched past surface level from the little we got showed. Just felt like kink randomly thrown in.

⭐ 4/5
🌶️3.5/5

This was the first book I've read by Morgan, and I liked it! The only reasons it didn't receive a perfect star rating for me are that I didn't really care too much for Sadie and the dragged-out, repetitive sections of the book. I just can't see her being dominant at all when she cowers with everything else in her life. Her back-and-forth drove me insane. Don't get me wrong, I understand why she was so reluctant with the relationships solely based on how her past was, but this draaaaagged out that I began to lose interest by 70%.

I absolutely loved Brooks, by far. I'm all about why choosin', but I would choose Brooks every time.

This book is super sweet and does lean in heavily with the DD/LG dynamics. I'm all about the caretaking, and you get that with Gunnar.

While this book certainly was good and sweet, I didn't get any "wow" moments, but Brooks did have me giggling a few times. 😜

It was a bit random to throw in that they're queer when there were no queer moments. It was so random, I had to reread a few times to understand where it came from lol. But what I wouldn't have given for Daddy Gunnar to make Brooks his Good Boy.🤭 I feel like Morgan would write really good MM. 🔥

Favorite Quote:

I enjoyed Sadie and her pack's story.

I enjoyed how these 4 came together. I really liked how the men took the time to get Sadie used to others not giving up on her. I can understand how hard it is to come out of that mentality when it was drilled into you for so long.

I loved the "instalove" feeling well got from the Alphas. I did wish that Sadie and Evan had a little longer journey since he was more adverse to the idea of an omega due to his past. I felt that there could have been an opportunity for more longing on each end there but I wasn't dissatisfied with how it turned out. I loved that, in the end, Sadie was able to give Evan the life he always wanted.

Now, I did enjoy her Daddy relationship with Gunnar. I think that kink could have been explored a bit more but it was a nice little toe dip into DD/lg.

Also, let's talk about Brooks. I love a feral alpha and he delivered! I did like the duality of his obsessive nature and his own fears of turning out like his father. I think her relationship and kinks with Brooks was probably thr most well rounded. I had no complaints with them.

Overall it was a really cute story and I would be interested in reading the next one this author writes!

Obsessed. I’m pretty sure I’ve never read this author before but she has now become an automatic read for me because of this book.

I loved everything. How the beginning wasn’t boring and sucked me in immediately, the characters and how they all had depth and flaws and distinct unique personalities, the families of the men, her friends and how I hope they will both have their own books, the banter, all the cute/funny moments, and the plot itself. Sadie had her own growth to do and we get to see that happen along with the support of her alphas.

This also has my favorite thing in OV books—her men are tactile and possessive and SO IS SHE. OBSESSED I tell you. They’re very in touch with their designations in all the best ways WHICH IS WHAT I’VE BEEN WANTING MORE OF in OV! I just think it sometimes feels a little *too* human in OV books considering they’re supposed to be based off of wolves and or descended from them. But not Knot to Worry!

And the epilogue?? It was so sweet! The writing style is also fantastic. Morgan Rosewood, please never stop writing these stories 🖤

Decent foundation, sloppy build

The base storyline is decent - broke single chick, rich obsessed guys, scum of the earth antagonist. Beyond that it gets a bit messy. The relationship building is jerky and inconsistent, rushing at times but then slamming to a halt at others. For the genre, either slow or instant would work but this book is like whiplash. The editing is terrible, with an insane amount of errors all the way through. The individual characters are mostly ok but Sadie is especially inconsistent in some ways. She's this weak meek little scared girl at first, next thing you know she's actually 30 adventurous and into k1nks and solving the antagonist on her own. The plot and real relationship work is overwhelmed by underwhelming but excessive intimate scenes. There is a decent thread of humor throughout. The foreshadowing around Layla is exceptionally annoying.

This was amazing! So much spice to knock your socks off, but such a good story otherwise. Sadie doesn’t really know anything good in life, she does have two best friends but that’s pretty much it. When an over aggressive customer pours coffee on her at her job and start yelling the guy she’s known for three years and thought was mates steps in to save her when no one else does. The story is amazing and all three pierced alphas are also amazing. They are all so different with several years between the three of them but they all just fit so well together as a pack and with Sadie. They never fail to remind her of her worth and show her how much she means to them.

I enjoyed Sadie's story and pack. I did love Brooks' stalking ways of keeping an eye on his omega over the years that they were denying their attraction. Evan was sweet and I love a man who enjoys cooking plus bonus points for him wanting to be an at home alpha! Gunner was suiting to his nickname by Sadie of Daddy. I'm not into the lg/dd dynamic but it wasn't too deeply in detail so still enjoyed the spicy scenes. It is fast paced in regards to scent matched to bonded but that is an aspect of omegaverse.

Overall this was an enjoyable read and explored the plot and relationship development well. Looking forward to the next book by this author in the future.

This Omegaverse story was so good! Sadie has known Brooks for years, but she thought he was already taken. Little did she know, he was already taken by her. When Sadie ends up with a psycho stalker, she ends up being cared for by Brooks, Gunnar, and Evan. Their biology brought them together, but it didn’t take long for her to accept that they want her for her and don’t ever plan to let her go. Lots of yummy spice and a bit of stalker drama. I love how Sadie “saves” herself at the end. I hope there will be more books about Sadie’s friends in the future, too. Loved it!!!

Beautifully written

This is one of this books you read thinking maybe it's a time passer, just something to see you between other books, but this is such a well written one that you're drawn right into this world.

Our fmc Sadie, was a foster child and thought herself as unlovable though she's not rich and nothing but a working omega her scent matched pack, Brooks, Evan, and Gunnar show her how wrong she is. They see her for her, not what she brings, no third act break up, no OWD great book!!

A cute spicy insta

Verry cute insta love scent match. The Sterling pack showers there insecure omega with love and gifts and support. Also quite spicy. I do wish the book was a tad longer to see the guys grow in the spicy relationship that was hinted could be a posability.
The stalker drama was present but not overwhelming. I wish we knew what leverage they had on the police. Maybe it will come to light in the next Woods Landing book.

Absolutely fantastic

I loved everything about this book. The characters quickly drew me in and I became obsessed with their obsession with their omega. The FMC has just the right amount of hesitancy and willingness to accept things. The Alphas are top tier perfection although Brooks is definitely my favorite. I hope there are more books like this to come from Morgan. I want to read more about her friends.

cute OV

I really liked this OV. It had the right amount of spice, mystery, drama and love. I think Sadie was a great FMC who had some trauma, but her mates did everything they could to reassure her. I am so curious about her friends and their stories because they were great. I love when a group of friends is just as important to the story as the MMCs.

Story 3.5⭐️ Spice 3.25🌶️
Not bad, but I’m left with a lot of unanswered questions…How have they known each other for three years and just now realized they are scent matches? How does Evan know about her but not Gunner? How does she know about the cameras in her apartment?

I liked the main characters in this book and the little plot there was kept me interested. Brooks stalking was adorable, Evan was sweet and Gunnar was so commanding. They each played their part well. Sadie just wanted to be loved and her pain from the past was well written. The side story with the crazy Beta was also interesting. It was the love story that was the main story and what I enjoyed the most. It was very steamy without being too much.

Everyone needs a Brooks

Reading this book healed something in me that I didn’t even know needed it. The way this pack cared for Sadie and reminded her daily (without asking or complaint!) that she was loved and cherished is so so special.

Feel good story

Brooks obsession, Evan’s huge heart & don’t even get me started on Daddy Gunnar. Drool. a little too much of the book focused on Sadie’s insecurities for my liking, even though it’s so real and relatable. but definitely a good story.

This was a really great read. The characters were strong and not flimsy in any way. The storyline was really engaging and I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
