Here are 8 reasons why you should purchase a copy of Into The Void:

1. A Light in the Void by Mike Dunn: About a Strike Fighter pilot on a routine mission, but in the deep expanse something sinister is brewing, and one fighter might not be enough to make a difference.

2. The Messenger by Chris Masterton is about a lone human sent to make first contact with far-off alien civilisations and deliver an ultimatum: join the Collective, or be eradicated.

3. The Firth Stage by Carmen Belle, an emotionally charged tale about an alien world where your trauma can literally open a rift in the sky that traps you in an endless death loop to consume your soul.

4. Are You There? by Steven Dutch explores the very nature of reality and begs the question: how can you tell if you're in a simulation?

5. Double Echo by A.A. Warne is a story about an interstellar transport that is called into action, where they are confronted with uncovered secrets and difficult decisions.

6. When He Met Herself by Jay Tea Moriarty. Ever wanted to be the first person to travel to a mysterious black hole? The protagonist of this story does, but he isn't prepared for what he finds out there.

7. The Compact Dissolution by Liv Evans & Jay Thomas. Explores the origin story of a company of Heavy Mech pilots sent on a contract to clear out some unwanted settlers.

8. Split Infinity by MJJ Mori. Takes us to the edge of the known universe and beyond. The protagonist sets out on a one-way mission but yearns for what he has left behind.

Chapter 3: The Fifth Stage

One of my dearest friends contributed to this collection of short stories, and I must say that, while I am a bit biased, her writing is as beautifully descriptive as it is filled with heartfelt intent. The story serves as a profound metaphor for grief and the depths of depression, as well as the discovery of strength through leaning on others when in need of support. I absolutely loved it.

Though brief, it was a treacherous journey that moved me deeply; I cried three times (!!) and would gladly experience it again. The imagery is stunning, with some gorgeous portrayals of an alien planet. While it feels heavily like a piece of self-reflection, given my personal connection to the author, there is nothing in this story that isn't relatable to the reader or to someone the reader may know. Bravo, my love—this was a masterpiece. I can't wait to see what else you write for the world.
