Dr. Colonel Naveen Malhotra is a man of many lives lived with purpose. An Indian Army officer who served in The Elite Black Cat Commandos, he brings rare authenticity and depth to every story he tells. After his years in uniform, he transitioned seamlessly into the corporate world, earning an MBA and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, eventually becoming the CHRO of a leading Indian conglomerate. But his journey didn't stop there, he explored the world of storytelling as an actor in television serials and a seasoned voice-over artist. With this diverse background, blending discipline, leadership, emotion, and creativity, Dr. Col Malhotra writes stories that are as layered as his life, rich in insight, driven by experience, and always deeply human. It was just like a Movie. One memorable moment is when the characters use ancient Vedic chants to activate the protocol, creating a powerful energy field that reveals visions of humanity’s true purpose. The book presents big ideas in a simple, readable way, making it easy for readers to reflect on life, time, and the universe. A good read for those curious about spiritual science fiction.

This book felt like myth and science combined and mixed up in a rollercoaster and mine was one of the rides. I was immediately drawn to the mysterious signal beneath the Vindhya ranges and the promise of what the Garuda Unit would reveal didn’t let my curiosity rest. I found inspiration in Colonel Advait’s character—his approach to logic was balanced by a kind of faith and faith was balanced by logic. The story had, in consequence, a cosmic dimension in the Stra and the notion of the Sudarshan Protocol, and danger and tension in the Vranges. The style of writing held me in its grasp, while the world-building was second to none. What I think was remarkable was the notion of belief and its pervasive examination; it lingered with me considerably after I finished the book. A riveting read!

What struck me most of all was the author’s skill of making mythology feel tangible and urgent. The Vindhya ranges provided the narrative a subtle mystical layer that gave it more depth. The Garuda Unit’s diversity, the Sudarshan Protocol, Colonel Advait Sen, and the Eye of Vishnu all worked with each other more than suggested at first. Samant, as the villain, exceeded my expectations and became deeply memorable. The whole novel bristled with tension, and yet it concluded with a resounding meditation on devotion and the essence of humanity. A truly rare blend of a book that integrates purpose with action.
