I Got this far...for naught.
By book 3, we. are starting to get more building of the characters but that still falls second to the plot. The story is still very plot-driven and drama-focused. The interactions between the characters have increased a bit in this book but, the story appears to be carried by shock value.

Tye & Rell, first let me say I love their relationship down! The way these two ride for each other 🥰! However, some things are just too good to be true. Like when something is going to good, it makes you think of what’s about happen. Well that’s exactly what happened. My girl asked him to cut off all loose end but ya boy didn’t do it the way he should’ve and it cost him. Listen the way Tye put in work on both Rell and ole girl Erica had me in tears laughing 🤣! She played no game and will not be played by no man regardless how she feels about him. Rell being the man he is never really settled down with a woman. I loved his demeanor🥰! Rell was that wham bam thank you ma’am type 🥷🏿 but there was something about Tye that he had to have and he wasn’t coming up off her at all 🤏🏾🤏🏾! Besides their relationship, they were riders for their best friends Shanni & Kash! Listen the way they both go hard in the paint for and with their friends was everything. There aren’t many that can say they have a solid friendship like that.
Shanni & Kash, now I love their relationship down as well. The way Kaah gives them affirmations to Shanni 🥹! Not only that, the way this man handles any threat that comes her way. Now don’t get me wrong, my girl can definitely handle hers 🫣, but when you have that man - I know it hits different 🥰! Like stop playing with this man! With their relationship moving very fast, they are still learning each other in the best way - listening & communication. Now with having a son the relationship grew stronger and the love was there. The way Kash is as a father hit different in a good way 🥰! He missed nothing when it came to Junior, however couldn’t with the twins. I never like Amina from jump. It was something about her! Then what happened in the dark came to light. Now Kash daddy, was that 🥷🏿 and honestly, the way Kash is a replica of him explains a lot especially when drama unfolds!
The way Bonnie developed this story was 🤏🏾🤏🏾! Each character is different in their own way but still the same - if that makes sense. The mess is messing throughout the read. The development of the relationships to the friendship was top! That ending though 🫣! Definitely needing Book 4! I’m here for all the mess 🤣

Diabolical, that is what I think about Bonnie Blanco. I actually thought this was the finale of this series but noooo Bonnie had to turn this inside out upside down. I would had never thought that it would go this way. Even Maury could not predicted it. I thought I was crazy and had to reread books1 and 2 and was she vague on that sneaky link and did you assume what I did. Did she intend for us to assume…Yup she did. I can honestly say this twist was new to me and I have read some crazy cray cray insane plots. Better than a soap, I was wondering why folks could finish so quickly, you could not put down once you got started. So ready for book 4. Bonnie should have had on deck. She about to be stalked until.

Honestly, it should be a number of times when you’re hiding a characters identity from the readers till the readers get to know who they are. No reason why we 3 books in a towards the end of the book we finding out about anonymous.
He popped up too many times for us not to know who it is. The book didn’t flow well because she kept trying to hide his identity.
Tye & Rell really stole the show for me. Even though I felt like Rell was moving fast as hell.
Also, how Shanni in law school but always never doing homework or be in school?? Or even online classes. Need more on that. She should be busy as heck.
Also, how Amira a doctor or nurse or whatever and she never in nobody hospital???
Tye is probably the only character that be having scenes where she at work.

I was thinking it’s the end. I knew there was another brother. Can’t believe it’s Cortez. Their pops was something else. Got all kinds of sons, but tried to make Kash carry a legacy smh. He’s on his death bed and all kinds of skeletons keep coming out. I’m ready to see how Tye and Rell handle having a baby. Glad Kash has Shanni and baby Kash. Amira was garbage. I was scared for a minute. Thought Rell was the one sneaking around with Amira. Glad he was solid. Ready for the finale!

Mannnnnnnnnnnnn what a read. In the middle of the book, I started to feel like them twins had to be Cortez's babies because of how Kash's daddy made sure he had his own territory. I wonder how Amira knew they were Brother-Cousins. And I kinda felt Kash's dad should've told him that a baby came from his fling with his aunt. That's what probably killed his mother from a broken heart. That darn Tye is pregnant and Rell is just as crazy as her, that's going to be funny as hell. I just know part 4 is really going to be interesting. And I can't wait.

Bonnie done stressed me out again. Imagine driving in traffic with your phone narrating to you, and Pops is in the hospital after you find out Dex is not the pappi. A revelation was revealed between the brothers that gave a new outlook on their relationship. Now, I told y’all Cortez was Anonymous, and he is. He also da pappi. But the way Bonnie talking, it’s all kinds of skeletons to still be revealed in book 4. I know I’on like the nasty, sneaky aunt, Cortez mama. I’m too excited cause some folk got some splainin to do lucy…lol.

This book was absolutely worth the wait. I devoured it in just a few hours.
Kash does not play when it comes to his family, and I loved every second of his intensity.
Rell and Tye? Whew. They seriously need to get it together. I’m rooting for them so hard. I just want to see them win as a couple.
And that ending??? Jaw-dropping. I’m still reeling.

In my mind I had this case solved down to the wire lol. I was not expecting that plot twist and I honestly forgot about that man. At this point of betrayal, I want to know if Kash even still wants the legacy. Shanni and Tye are my kind of friends chilleeeee. Pops was breaking my heart. When Dex revealed the truth about his and Kash's father, it became clear that his father was as messy as ever! I can't wait for all the secrets to come out. Also, Kash’s aunt seriously needs to be put in her place. The solid storyline will keep you hooked, but be prepared to ride this wave for a while!

This could’ve had more stars but I feel like the story line is dragging. Like we all just waited all this time to only get 138 pages worth of read. I had to reread part 2 just to remember what happened before I even started part 3. I know it’ll be months before Part 4 comes so I may or may not return for the finale.

It was only 130 pages so there was plenty of room for it to end in book 3. I’m not usually like this but it felt very short and incomplete. The book was just starting at the end. I gave it 5 stars because the story line is good but I have to get off this train.
