In my first year of university, I struggled... I spent weeks studying for final exams and spent month doing my projects... then something clicked, I started getting assistance from a student services person at the university who shared some basic techniques with me. I became more intrigued and started doing my own research on proper study techniques... the result... it's funny, I studied one or two days before the exam and took an average of a week for my projects and amazingly, i went from a straight C student to jumped to B+ and A- in my second year. In my third year, my friends started to call me a genius because I hardly studied and got much better grades than them. It was a fantastic experience... over the years, I've used these techniques to earn three more designations after university and have become to enjoy the learning process rather than dread it.

So, for any parent who wants to help their child study smarter and not just harder and longer hours, pick up this book.
