Quincy has spent the last few months caring for her aging grandmother. When she finally decides to take a night for herself, she learns her boyfriend isnʼt all heʼs cracked up to be.
Luckily, Ridge comes to her rescue and sparks fly. Only reality catches up all too quickly the next morning.
Quincy goes back to her life, picking up the pieces and staying busy by working at Hartley’s family restaurant. It’s certainly no hardship, considering her boss is a handsome former pro-quarterback. One of her regulars might rub everyone else the wrong way with his icy demeanor, but Quincy finds his honesty to be endearing.
Only, no matter how hard she searches, she can’t find her protective one-night stand.
Little does she know, there are reasons he’s been scrubbed from the internet. When one of those reasons shows up, Hart, Trigg, and Ridge must learn to put their differences aside to protect the very pregnant Quincy.
Otherwise, the consequences could prove to be disastrous.
With a Little Luck is written in first person Multi-POV. It's a standalone set in the same world as No Escape/One Way Out. You don't need to have read those to enjoy WALL, but it will give you a fuller backstory on Ridge. There is no cheating, no choosing, and no cliffhanger.
When I'm in the mood for a sweet omegaverse - something low angst and just pure brain candy - Jillian West really seems to hit the spot.
This is just pure gooey sweet fun. A teeny bit of drama in that several of the men are assassins and some baggage is showing up for payback, but that's seriously only like 15% of the page time. Most of it is getting to know these characters and rolling around in the warm fuzzies as they come together.
• Omegaverse • Reverse harem/MFMM • One night stand • Accidental pregnancy • Dad is in the pack • Protective MMCs • Neurodivergent rep • Workplace romance • Second chance romance • Mild suspense
The way I ran to my BookFunnel the second this landed in my inbox was unreal! I’ve loved this pack from the very start, every teaser Jillian dropped, every mention of these characters had me hooked. I just knew they were going to be an instant favorite, and I was definitely right! Jillian nailed it. I devoured every single page of this book.
The world that Jillian has created for this series has been so much fun! The way their dynamics play out always works so perfectly. And this pack was no different, their dynamic was INCREDIBLE! You had Quincy, the adorably sweet omega who’s had some unfortunate luck with alphas in the past, meeting Ridge and instantly sparking a connection. One night between them leads to a pregnancy, but when circumstances pull them apart, neither has a way to reach the other.
Jillian did such an incredible job setting up their story, and the way she brought the other two alphas into it was flawless! They each protected Quincy without her even realizing.
Ridge was probably the most vulnerable out of the three alphas. He had such a sweet heart, and I loved watching him gain confidence in how to love Quincy as the story went on. I absolutely LOVED the way these two were brought back together, their run in was timed so perfectly!
Hartley, sweet protective Hart! This man was so patient with Quincy. I loved the way he kept her safe, and then, when the time was right, he had no problem stepping into her life and making sure she knew she was his.
And did I save my favorite alpha for last in this review… maybe! TRIGG!!!!! Holy unhinged hot alpha. This man was HILARIOUS. If you loved Ranger or Easton in Jillian’s previous books, you’re going to go nuts for Trigg. He was UNAPOLOGETICALLY unhinged, my favorite type of alpha. Jillian knows exactly how to write these kinds of characters that I just instantly fall hard for.
Sure, Trigg’s actions were questionable… but I really only saw green flags. Breaking into her house in the middle of the night to watch her sleep? Green flag. Stalking her every move? 100% green flag. He’s just making sure she’s safe, right? Absolutely!!! Like I said, questionable actions. Unapologetically unhinged. ALL GREEN FLAGS. And to top it off, his big beautiful neurodivergent brain only added to my love for this character.
Let the countdown begin for release day because you are 100% going to want your Kindles ready for this one. Jillian gave us the perfect accidental pregnancy trope, wrapped up with protective, unhinged alphas. I absolutely loved this book!
It's safe to say Jillian West has perfected my ideal book boyfriends for why-choose romances. Ridge, Trigg and Hartley are head over heels for Quincy. A lot of their inner monologue early in the book are them trying not to terrify her with how much they want to be with her. If you aren't quietly courting (aka stalking) your love interest, or pretending to be kicked out of your house to move in with her, do you really deserve her? I think not. The intrusive thoughts these men have had me laughing out loud and kicking my feet. The guys have a great balance of being unhinged, possessive and protective while still valuing Quincey's autonomy. A dangerous man who is wrapped around the heroine's finger gets me every time.
There is pregnancy in this one, which isn't always my jam, but Jillian writes it well. Also, kudos to giving Quincy an epidural during labor and having her decide breastfeeding isn't for her with no stigma. There isn't a one size fits all to birth and parenting and I appreciated Quincey's journey wasn't what is typically considered the "best" way.
My one small criticism is Ridge, Hartley and Trigg are not happy at first about coexisting in a pack together. Their affection for Quincy makes it a necessity but they are at each other's throats for a lot of the book. I don't feel like we get that moment when they fully accept each other. There are moments, Trigg trying to bond with Ridge by torturing people, but it never fully comes to fruition for me. But that is truly small beans because I loved this.
This is the longest Jillian West book I have read and that means more sweet moments, more smut and more slightly questionable behavior from our obsessed MMC's. If you are a fan of Jillian's books this will deliver on everything you can expect. If you haven't read anything by her before maybe start with When She Needs Them Most which is the first book in this world. Either way pick up a book!
I received a free copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review
If you know anything about me it's that I'm obsessed with Jillian West and her pregnant omega books. I'm also obsessed with her crazy stalker alphas and man Trigg sure did hit the spot 😌😌😌. He literally breaks into her house just to keep her from getting sick like if he wanted to he would.
4.4 stars. Really loved that ending, but I just feel like all of this author’s books are missing that special ✨something✨ that really elevates a book experience, for me. I can’t fully explain what that thing is, though. Mostly I think it’s that it all feels pretty surface level. Nothing all that deep in any direction.🤷🏻♀️ It was still an entertaining read, like most of her other books in this universe. (Ugh. I’m for sure still in a slump. This took me forever to read.😩)
I had a hard time with this, especially the alphas. I didn't find their behaviour attractive? Two of them claimed to be so enamoured with Quincy for months, but didn't think to let her know their feelings until the other made their feelings known (and shown). It seemed a shitty way to treat a heavily pregnant omega who felt like "their omega". Where was the care when she was obviously struggling? And, the third guy seemed just as clueless when he got involved. It felt wrong to me. Awkward. Maybe that was the point? But, it didn't make for a story I enjoyed. If I were Quincy, I'm not sure I'd have wanted these males in my nest. But alpha/omega pheromones have a way of forcing bonds. That would piss me off.
me: not ever wanting to have or ever bear children also me: eats up every pregnancy trope book Jillian West writes
this might just be one of my fav Jillian West omegaverse books, yet. Trigg, Ridge, and Hartley were a hilarious pack of alphas who didn’t want to be a pack. Trigg, the psychopath who doesn’t understand emotions and stalks Quincy and breaks into her house at night to make sure she doesn’t get sick. Ridge, Quincy’s baby daddy she’s been searching for and one of Shadow Security’s first morally grey employees. And Hartley, the former pro-football player alpha and Quincy’s boss who balances out the other two alphas in the pack. but they all have to make their pack work if they want to keep Quincy and her baby safe from Ridge and Shadow Security’s enemies.
you don’t need to read the other books in the series to understand anything, but the other characters do show up quite often to help the plot of the story along. so to better enjoy, i would recommend.
Quincy is pregnant basically the entire book, so there is no traditional heat scene. but you still get nesting, knotting, courting, and bonding we love in omegaverse.
if you’ve read and enjoyed other books by this author, there’s no doubt you’ll love this one as well. would highly recommend if you’re looking for alphas obsessed with their omegas and will unalive anyone that threatens her safety.
thank you Jillian West for an e-ARC of 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑨 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒌 💕
𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑨 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒌 will be available to read on September 8th
MFMM, AOAA, 1st person multi POV one night stand, build-a-pack, knotting, bonding/bite marks, “romantic stalking” by an mmc, forced proximity, somnophilia, HEA, epilogue, interconnected standalone
If a genie were to grant a wish, it would be to have all of Jillian’s books to be never-ending.🧞♀️
Jillian’s characters are always written so well with depth that you feel an instant connection with them. Character development: 10/10
I loved the plot as always! I do wish that she had the little babe earlier in the book but it also turned out perfect so I can’t complain.
Each of the MMC’s were my absolute favorite. Tripp - his unhinged, quirky self had me smiling throughout the book. His feud with King was definitely a cherry on top! 🍒 I just loved the devotion he had for her (even the romantic stalking 👏🏼). I don’t know what it is but when an MMC calls his woman Angel, all bets are off.😮💨😍 the middle finger to push up his glasses was my favorite and such a subtle F you 😂🖤 I loved his growth the most, seeing his olive branch and trying to build friendships with Hart and Ridge was adorable. Hartley - what I really loved about his character is that he wasn’t written to look the part of a former pro-football player. The gauges and tattoos made for a swoooon worthy image. I loved that he wasn’t this hardcore assassin like the others, he was her soft space that she needed. There were a few moments that I felt kind of bad for Hart because you could tell his feelings were hurt but like the good alpha he was he’d push it to the side because he knew Quincy cared for the others. Ridge - black hair and blue eyes makes for a deadly combination, amiright? Add in tattoos, the shades, the height, ugh. Perfecto. I’m a sucker for ONS to HEA and I loved that for him in this book. Let me also just mention, I loved the celibacy and how he was written all in from of the night ONS and would have been with her from that point. Normally ONS it’s “oh it’s a one time thing bye” but I loved that this had a different take to it. Ridge is the type of character you’d bring home to your mom hahaha. And the little insecurities that he had made you just love him that much more. He was perfect for Quincy through and through.
I loved this book, the spice was hot, the characters were amazing, and the ending was wrapped up nicely. If I had to nitpick anything at all, it would just be that I wish we could have experienced Ridge telling his family about Quincy and their daughter and having them meet. It’s not a big deal and not something that makes me feel like I’m missing out, though.☺️
Thank you, Jillian for another amazing read and for putting your work out there for us to read. I can only speak for myself but I truly do look forward to each and every one of your releases.

This book was a fucking treat! Definitely in my top three if not the top of all Omegaverse books that I’ve ever read. Definitely the pack that I wish I was a part of, well the main lady of the pack. I’m in love with the MMC’s. These were definitely three of the best and most well written MMC’s I’ve ever read in an Omegaverse. They just had distinct, quirky, fun and believable personalities and characters. The dialogue was on point and they actually felt and read manly. Which hardly ever happens anymore nowadays. I feel like most male characters nowadays that are written by women seem very feminine and their dialogue is also often Feminine. The FMC was also very likable and the book was just hilarious. It had me laughing out loud often. For an Omegaverse book, this was just top-notch.
I enjoy every book that Jillian West puts out, and this was absolutely no exception! Jillian has written all of my favorite omegaverse books, and this one has been added to that ever-growing list.
While this book is part of a large world and connected to multiple other books by J.W., it can be read as a stand-alone. You won't get the giddy feeling that the little extra tidbits of knowing some of the other characters' history & stories, but you can still understand and enjoy the book by itself.
The FMC, Quincy, is pregnant for just about all of the book, BUT if you love omegaverse books, this book still has all of the required (for me) tropes of the genre. There are plenty of scenes with knotting, begging, scenting, growls, possessiveness, and more.
Now on to my review:
With a Little Luck opens with Quincy, an Omega who is burnt out from caring for her ailing grandmother, finally taking a night off and going to surprise her "boyfriend", only to find him cheating on her with his secretary. Quincy goes to a local bar to lick her wounds and enjoy a drink, is harassed by two strangers at the bar, and casually joins Knox & Ridge's table for refuge. Gotta love a girl who trusts her instincts and dares to look to randos for safety. Knox & Ridge, being the protective alpha good guys that they are, rescue the damsel, and once Ridge & Quincy hit it off, Knox leaves them to it.
The book truly begins after this significant night between Quincy & Ridge. Through no fault of their own, Quincy is called to her family, and Ridge is called to a work emergency; they aren't able to leave their contact information for each other. Thus, the dilemma of the unexpected pregnancy and not being able to find the baby daddy. Quincy does try to find Ridge, not just to tell him about the baby but also because of the connection between them. Quincy even got banned from the hotel they went to because she tried to get a job there to find his information! The girl tried her best, okay. On Ridge's end, he was sent on mission after mission due to his work with Shadow Security and couldn't locate Quincy himself. He planned to search for her when he got back to the States. We do get a scene where he argues with his boss, Easton, about taking time off to find her, so J.W. does reassure us that he also felt the connection with Quincy and wanted to see her. Finishing the pack are Hartley, Quincy's temporary boss at the diner/restaurant she works at, who does some questionable things to stay close to Quincy, and Trigg, who has some personal ties to Shadow Security and has been casually stalking Quincy in his off time.
The story unfolds from there, featuring romantic scenes, life-or-death scenes, sexy scenes, and hilarious scenes, all culminating in a happy ending with a united pack, including a newborn babe, that we rooted for throughout the book.
Without spoiling the book, here are some of my favorite moments/pieces from WALL: - There is no 3rd act misunderstanding or miscommunication trope, ifykyk. - Quincy stands up for each of her Alphas, especially to the other Alphas in her pack. - I love the scenes with characters from or mentions from the other books in the same world. - I love all the realistic aspects that J.W. adds to this book; the trauma, emotion, details, everything is as close to how real-world people would react to these scenes without taking away from the feeling of being swept into an imaginary world. - Trigg being neurospicy and being able to read/see scenes from his perspective and how his mind processes. - I loved that the relationship and packing building took the main stage or forefront of the book, while the "work" drama/danger was almost 3rd on the list. This drama was used more as a device to continue the story in a certain way rather than dictate the direction the book would take. This was a distinct and welcome aspect. - Another distinct difference was that there were no "mean" or "disapproving" family members that the characters had to deal with. - KING! The bulldog who steals the show and who I wish had more scenes! If J.W. sees this review, I would love an extra scene with King meeting baby Cam! So sweet. I love that dog. When I read the scene with King resting his head on Hart's thigh, my own pup was resting on mine. LOVE.
I don't have children and have never been pregnant. Still, coming from a large family and knowing people with kids, I really enjoyed how J.W. added realistic details of pregnancy, unexpected pregnancy, and the emotional roller coaster of searching for & finally finding your baby daddy, as well as discovering you are going to be a father within a few weeks.
Regarding the one-night stand pregnancy, this is not the first J.W. book with this trend, but it would be tough to have a pregnant omega for most of the story without some baby-making drama at the beginning. I loved that the one-night stand aspect was not planned or intentional for either Ridge or Quincy, and that J.W. took the time to explain the before & after circumstances. Not that one-night stands are bad or that I am against them, in this case, the details of that night and the next day set up the personalities of Quincy & Ridge right from the beginning. It also helped make the book seem more realistic because we got to read from both points of view why they couldn't contact each other, what kept them apart, and their feelings about it.
Questions I have after finishing WALL: - Will Knox get his own book? - Do we get more of the history behind Trigg's connection to Shadow Security and the other missing ties? - IS KING JEALOUS OF BABY CAM?! IS HE PROTECTIVE OF BABY CAM?!
Though this book was given to me by Jillian West as an ARC, my opinions and reactions are my own.
This is another one of Jillian West’s fabulous pregnancy-omegaverse stories and it did not disappoint! Pregnancy is not a trope that I usually seek out but Jillian is an exception because she does it so well.
Quincy is self-sufficient and doing her best to survive on her own. Little does she know that she has several alphas who are more than willing to give her anything she needs and everything she wants! Hartley, Trigg, and Ridge clash in a lot of ways but do their best to come together for Quincy’s sake. Their banter and little rivalries with each other are hilarious! One of the things I loved most is that they aren’t a pre-existing pack; the pack is built entirely around Quincy.
Like most of Jillian’s other works, this is pretty low angst with a few potential triggers with a guaranteed happy ending and plenty of spice!
I love this book like all books from Jillian. I have just one note, the relationship between Trigg and Quincy I think should be more developed. I think they rarely are together. And when she tells him that she loves him and he says "thank you" later in book is everything ok but jumps in time doesn't show the discussion.. Trigg almost doesn't look a member of the pack and Quincy soulmate. The final feels a bit rushed in my opinion too.
I love Jillian West books and this one is another great addition! I went into this expecting Ridge to be my favourite.. but honestly, I loved Trigg and Hartley so much too! With Triggs lovable phsycopathic tendencies and Hartleys steady golden retriver love they give sensitive and lovable Ridge a run for his money! I love the e fact they can murder people 1 minute and cry at the baby the next. A great book by Jillian and a great addition to the series! Well worth a read. 💜
Quincy is determined to be self-reliant but isn't too stubborn to accept help - especially when it comes from hot Alphas that smell good. She had a different relationship with each member of her pack. Ridge gave her levity at the right times. Hartley gave her steady reassurance. Trigg gave her his utter devotion (i.e. obsession). All three MMCs showed their care through both words and actions.
There's a side plot that creates a forced proximity situation that I always adore. I was a little sad that there's no heat scene but that goes with the territory when the Omega is pregnant, although there's still plenty of spiciness. If you read Whatever It Takes and thought Easton was a lot, then you're in for a treat with Trigg. I think he's the MOST unhinged Alpha she's written to date.
If you like a little antagonism between Alphas while the pack is forming, this is the book for you. As the saying goes: "The Omega builds their pack". I was a little worried that these Alphas wouldn't come together for Quincy, but I really should have known better. Jillian West never lets me down!
If you've read Jillian Wests Omegaverse books then you've probably met Ranger and Easton. Then you absolutely NEED to meet Trigger. I love how Jillian creates all her characters to have their own unique traits and characteristics. But also how each pack in her books show their absolute devotion to each other.
Quincy is an omega who was wronged when she walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her. She later meets Ridge and what turns out to be a one night stand due to unfortunate circumstances she ends up pregnant. She finds a job working at a diner where she then meets Hartley who becomes her boss, devoted friend and the cinnamon roll alpha who is falling for her. Enter Trigg who meets Quincy and she becomes his complete obsession. Things happen to force them all to live together for safety reasons and all three men decide to "tolerate" each other for Quincy. Lol. Things definitely interesting.
One of my favorite quotes from the book when it comes up that Trigg was stalking her, he says “I have been romantically checking in on you. Just to make sure you’re okay here alone in this giant house,”
Jillian had me laughing so much reading this book. I absolutely love Triggs character. If Jillian ever decides to try and top Triggs character I'm all the way here for it, because it'll be hard to do.
➕ - These JW books have become my comfort reads. They're so sweet and heartwarming. - If you love MFMM omegaverse with a pregnant omega building her pack, forced proximity and oodles of caretaking. - I love the three alphas: a doting ex footballer, a closet-teddy-bear mercenary and an unhinged contract killer. I wasn't sure if they were going to come together enough for Quincy, but it warmed my little heart to see them become a real pack.
➖ - I ate up the first half in one sitting and then I lost steam for whatever reason. Maybe it could've been edited down a bit? - I wish there was at least one 🌶️ scene with the entire pack.
I want to start this review by saying this story dragged me into the book in the first chapter. I love all of Jillian West books, but her pregnancy storylines have a special place in my heart. Plus, what more can you ask for than a stalker who is *lovingly* putting up cameras in your house to keep you and your baby safe? Throw in a previous one night stand, aka, the baby’s bio father, and our fmc’s boss, a former football star, who quickly falls for her and the little one, and you have a fun story! I had a really good time with this. Quincy is doing her best with the luck she was dealt, and I think she’s a good fmc, and I love how the mmc’s slowly grew to being tolerable of each other.
jillian seems to have found the sweet spot in writing the psycho stalker mmcs🖤
by now we all know i’m a huge fan of jillian and i love everything she writes, especially her pregnancy OV books!
absolutely i loved that ridge got his story and adored meeting trigg of course! i’m actually obsessed with Trigg (not sure what that says about me😅) his inner dialogue was seriously making me giggle throughout the whole book
for some reason i did have a harder time connecting to Hartley and Quincy
while this one isn’t my favorite of the new series it’s still a very enjoyable and cozy read from my favorite OV author so i definitely still recommend it
I absolutely love a romantic stalker. thats it. thats the review.
lol
I love when alphas are ready to take responsibility for babies that aren't biologically theirs but something about the alpha and omega reconnecting just makes me so happy. I loved this book so much. I love how we keep seeing characters from other books as well. i really liked that there was a plot but it wasnt as heavy as it could've been. it felt very romance/relationship based and I really enjoyed that.
Trust Jillian West to write exactly what I needed to make me fall back in love with the genre.
I love everything she writes and this high-stakes omegaverse was no different. It was “packed” full of drama, spice, a wee bit of gratuitous violence, and I devoured it in a a day. I loved Quincy and her pregnancy journey. The pack dynamics were so much fun and I loved how protective they were. I think Trig is a new favourite Jillian West MMC.
Run and read this. Your spice and RH loving self deserves this!
Jillian West can be a bit hit and miss for me. I’m going to call this one a miss. It really didn’t hold my attention.
Trigg is the only character with a really developed personality, but it felt like the author just wanted to write more Easton, so she made him a half brother and started a new story.
The book told me Ridge was charming, but really failed to show it. Hartley faded into the background once the pack game together and was sort of a generic nice guy.
Quincy is pregnant. That’s her whole character. It’s also her personality.
The ex boyfriend drama went nowhere and also wasn’t pertinent to the plot, so I’m not sure what the point of it was.
Anyway… this was a generic Omegaverse. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, it’s fine. Jillian West always puts out a well edited and easy to read book.
I loved this novel so much I read it in a single day. I love the main female character, her pack, and of course the other characters from Shadow Security making an appearance. Honestly, I love Trigg the most. He’s showed so much growth and he deserves his happy ending! I would have loved more about his background, and same with Ridge. Overall I enjoyed the read.
With A Little Luck, by Jillian West @jillianwestauthor. First, I am a fan of Jillian’s & this book was no different!
What a fantastic book about Quincy, Ridge, Hartley & Trigg! Tropes: Contemporary, Omegaverse, One Night Stand, Surprise Pregnancy, Boss/Employee, Stalking, Pack Built Around Quincy, Found Family & HEA!
I was lucky enough to beta read this and then again just before it's release and it was so good!!
I love Quincy, she's such a sweetheart and she loves so fiercely. Hartley was such a strong and steady presence, Trigg was well Trigg, just a wee bit unhinged. For me, Ridge was my favourite, I loved getting his story and he made me tear up a few times.
i absolutely love how Jillian makes morally grey so sweet lol it’s the best of both worlds! give me obsessive/possessive alphas every day of the week. especially trigg, yes i’m on the same bandwagon!
but also jillian and pregnancy OV is alwaysssss a hit and this book was no different!
i loved watching the pack form from the start and how they grow together. so beautiful and heartwarming!
I really enjoyed this book it had me hooked, I liked our FMC… kept changing my mind on Trigg though one minute I liked him then I didn’t. I wished the birth had come quicker to be honest it felt like it took ages for it to come and when it did it happened right at the end , I would of liked to have seen them a happy family before the epilogue.
Oh man, these 3 men are all the complete opposite from each other, yet they make up the perfect pack for her. Trigg has to be my fav. I love everything about it. such a good read.
With A Little Luck is very much a poly/reverse harem romance set inside the Omegaverse, and I really enjoying it. Even though the story centers almost entirely on a super pregnant omega, Quincy, building her pack with the dad reappearing after a one-night stand, there was still a solid plot running through it. Since Quincy is pregnant for about ninety-five percent of the book, we never get the full-blown heat scene with all the guys involved. There are a couple of pregnancy-related heat wave moments that include more than one MMC, but nothing extravagant or over-the-top spicy like a true heat would have delivered. The extended epilogues gave us sweet glimpses into the pack’s future, but honestly, a post-pregnancy heat scene would have been a perfect addition.
One scene that really stuck with me, and made me laugh, was when Ridge gets shot. It is definitely traumatic for everyone, but the moment is overshadowed by Quincy desperately needing to pee. Her alphas, especially Trigg, are so overprotective that she never even makes it to the bathroom. It is a darkly funny moment in the middle of chaos.
Quincy herself comes across as a little weaker and mousier than you usually see in single omegas. She puts on a brave face, but she did not feel as fierce as I would have liked. The MMCs - Ridge, Trigg, and Hartley - are each likable on their own, but their pack dynamics are messy. They manage to pull things together here and there, but not in a way that convinced me they could be a cohesive long-term unit, especially once children are in the picture. That said, Trigg ended up being my favorite. His stalker tendencies are definite red flags, but his absolute devotion to Quincy was strangely endearing.
The spice level is plentiful because of Quincy’s pregnancy heat waves, but none of the scenes really stood out. It felt more like going through the motions of smut rather than something memorable. On the other hand, the overall drama - Ridge’s professional life, his separation from Quincy, and the chaos of forming a pack with three very different personalities - kept the story dramatic and suspenseful in a good way. My only real complaint is that with all of that build-up and danger, the ending wrapped up too neatly and easily.
Still, this was an enjoyable read. I would recommend it to anyone who likes poly or reverse harem dynamics, enjoys Omegaverse settings, and wants plenty of drama along with their romance.
