This story follows Ava, our cute and sweet neighbor from book one in the series! Ava has some self-confidence issues because her last long boyfriend made her feel like she wasn't enough and less than. Then we have Mark, who is the playboy of Ridge Lane, and Ava can not stand him. Every time he talks he disgusts her! He is everything she can't stand--Right? But why does he get under her skin so bad?

The found family in the small town of Ridge Lane, makes me fall in love with every one of these characters, every single time I read about them. Brand does an amazing job at incorporating so much character growth and development in her characters which I love. Her characters are flawed making them realistic, which makes you really connect with her characters. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

This book was so everything I wanted and needed it to be and so much more. This author has a way of writing that just draws the reader in and makes them feel like they are actually in the story. I loved to see the transformation of the MMC and I absolutely adore the found family in this book. The author’s writing is simply beautiful. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books coming in the future!

Um again so spicy!! 🥵 I have to say Mark is my kind of guy!! Acts like a big ole tuff dude who sleeps around, but deep down just wants his forever person.

After how My Forever ended I was so ready to dig into Ava’s & Mark’s story! They’ve got tension, banter and such a fun build up in their dynamic. I enjoyed every second of their story.
Now I will preferences by saying I feel as though their dynamic is better described as irritation/annoyance to lovers vs enemies to lovers.
Ava has struggled with self esteem issues due to her ex boyfriend and then we’ve got Mark who’s the playboy and isn’t looking to settle down. Which previously we see in My Forever how that just crawls under Ava’s skin with her previous digs. His comments? She still can’t stand them. But something starts to shift between them and truly it doesn’t take long because they both have an attraction to one another that they can’t deny.
Their situationship goes to another level when she runs into Mark at the grocery store and Mark over hears an aisle over how a man is speaking to Ava and demeaning her. What does Mark do? Well he steps in and ups the anti by claiming that they are together. Who is the man? Eric, Ava’s ex boyfriend. Little does Mark and Ava know what can of worms that just opened for their relationship and themselves.
The way Kristina works in her title into the story is always one of my favorite moments. I absolutely love when authors do that.
My Never delivers such an easy read that gives you found family, realistic characters, banter, spice, stalking ex boyfriend, mild suspense and just that small town vibe that you fall in love with and can’t stop reading. Kristina dabbles in some suspense to keep us on our toes as she is known to throw something in her stories that has her readers on edge. I cannot wait to get into My Always. Ridge Lane is truly the perfect escape if you are looking for an easy read that you are invested in the characters and rooting for them but also throws a little suspense in there.

Loved this so much! I adored the first installment of this series and was eager to start the second. Somehow it is even better, couldn’t wait to pick up my kindle to continue the story! While I enjoyed Ava and Markus’s vicious banter in My Forever, their character development in My Never was just as great -and sexy, too.
Loved the sugar, spice, and even more spice. So much fun. I laughed, cried, blushed, and gasped for many reasons. So many emotions.
Cannot wait for books 3 & 4!

Well, I didn’t think book two could get any better than book one and then “Bam”. Mark and Ava’s story continue in this love story. It starts out with a lot of banter between the two. Their relationship goes from hate to love and everything in between. I loved the dynamic between this couple and all of their close friends. I loved the little twist of a crazy, jealous ex that turns this story into dealing with a little more drama. And defiantly all the spice! Bring on book 3!

I LOVED Mark and Ava’s story! This was a spicy enemies to lovers story with a thrillery twist toward the end! So good! The quiet, sweet girls are always the wild ones!!

This 2nd book in the Ridge Lane series had more action, more laughs, and all my favorite characters from "My Forever". Kristina doesn't shy away from the spice or the romance, and her writing is *chef's kiss*!

I loved this book so much!!! It was definitely my favorite of the series. The banter between enemies-to-lovers Mark and Ava was so good. And I loved their “secrets in the dark” aspect of their relationship. Kristina’s spice is so 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. And it was such a fun time to read Ava have a filthy mouth as well!
In true Kristina Brand fashion, she doesn’t let you get too comfortable before she drops you right in the middle of a jaw-dropping suspenseful twist! So good!!!

It's easily a 5 🌟 read and probably my favorite couple in this series! Seriously loved reading each page and seeing Marks character growth and how Ava is the perfect match for him.
Definitely can be read as a standalone, but recommend reading in order. The timeline through this series ties up any loose ends and makes this series flow.
