I’m trying to take on a dungeon and they’re making me fight in a tournament?!

Arius is continuing his dive into dungeons in search of ultimate strength but has to take part in the Academy’s Combat Tournament, an event meant to deepen relationships with the heroine and friends from the otome game Love Academy. If that wasn’t annoying enough, Milia and the others ask Arius to help them train for the big day! And while that’s going on, Arius receives news that Crown Prince Abel Lionhart of the Ishtobal Kingdom has received heroic power, power that hasn’t been seen in 300 years, and marks the revival of a demon king in one of the monster kingdoms.

To defeat the demon king, the party that has formed around Hero Abel is now seeking SSS-rank adventurers, of which only ten exist in the world, Arius among them…

This was a pretty good continuation of the series and your experience will be similar to what you got from the first volume.

Despite being fairly generic, I was in the mood for it and dove straight into this volume after finishing the first. There were some interesting developments here, specifically with additional people being reincarnated as various characters and with the introduction of the Hero's party subplot.

Despite the ridiculousness of the logic and power curve, I still had fun with this. Even though I've rated this series a bit lower than most reads I enjoyed, there's a fair chance I will continue into the third volume to see where things go with the Demon territory. I have a hard time picturing myself going too deep into this series, but it's fine for what it is and a nice palate cleanser between heavier reads.

What a great continuous of the series. Love our battle brained MC. It is kinda funny how many women have fallen for him, yet he doesn't see it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This is me done. Alas, it's not for me.

I need either more substance or more entertainment.
Ideally MC should be someone I can actually care about in SOME way. I just don't care about this guy.
I'd be more interested to read about girls - they have more personality. T^T
