I escaped from Hell and landed on my soulmate’s doorstep.
After experiencing the unimaginable at the hands of monsters, I wake up in another world.
With the help of the woman who nursed me back to health, I avoided the witch hunters sweeping through the land and journeyed to the main village. Bolstered by the rumors of a human living there, I storm into the Alpha’s lodge just in time to find my sister, Rowan, bleeding out on the floor.
The desperate need to save her triggered something in me.
Magic.
Rare magic that The Moon blessed me with.
Incredible magic that can heal.
But that isn’t all that I discovered.
My soulmate is here too.
He is Alpha of the Nighthowl pack, and my sister’s new brother-in-law.
Forced to live under the same roof, Griffin sees my fractured parts, and offers to help me carry the load.
Can I trust him with all of my demons?
Together, can we mend what has been broken?
Nighthowl is the second book in the Moon Touched Chronicles trilogy. Each book follows a different couple, but should be read in order. The Moon Touched Chronicles feature protective wolf shifter MMCs and their human mates. Mature content intended for readers 18+.
This is book 2 in the Moon Touched Chronicles trilogy and it did not disappoint. These books are great quick reads that keep you hooked in. They are full of strong FMCs, fated mates, wolf shifters, moon magic, angst, spice, and some humor.
This book follows the story of Ramsey and Griffin. Ramsey's story was absolutely heartbreaking, but it was great to watch her find herself and work through the trauma that she has had to deal with. Griffin was everything that she needed to help her work through the trauma and learn that she finally had somebody to take care of her.
Like her sister Rowan, Ramsey adjusted so well to being thrust into a completely different world. There was one part towards the end, just a little twist, that made me want to throw my Kindle across the room, but it was redeemed quickly! lol (I don't want to spoil anything!)
I listened to the audio for my second time around and it made me love it even more! The audio is dual narration by Elara Novak and Justin Blake and they did a great job!
Highly recommend that you check this entire trilogy out! The books do need to be read in order to have a full understanding of the whole story. They are all interconnected. While these are not dark, I would recommend that you read the trigger warning list at the beginning because some of the topics could potentially be triggering for some.
I was in a book slump when I found this series. I am so glad I gave it a try. One thing that stood out in this series, for me anyway, is the FMC did not freak out totally when she found out that the wolf was also a man. That has happened in too many previous shifter books I have read and it takes forever for MMC and FMC to get back together. This story is so beautifully written, it has spicy romance, angst, drama and it’s funny. Love all the characters, even the secondary ones. I have to say I was ready to throw my kindle across the room toward the end of this book, but thankfully you redeemed the story couple of pages later. I definitely recommend this series and I’m onto the next book.
I can’t get enough of these book. Seriously if you love shifter romances, add this author.
This book was so good. Ramsey’s story is heartbreaking and emotional, but I loved watching her slowly find strength again with Griffin by her side. He sees all her broken pieces and helps her begin to heal in a way that felt really genuine.
After surviving something unimaginable, Ramsey wakes in a new world where witch hunters roam( what they think the humans are) and danger is everywhere.
I really enjoyed the mix of magic, emotion, and romance, and I already started the last book.
This was so good! Ramsey’s story was heartbreaking, but I loved how Griffin loved her and helped her find herself again. I absolutely recommend this series and can’t wait for the 3rd book to come out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
