I'm so glad we finally get to read the second book! After Owen's story I couldn't wait to see what his brothers would be like.

The tension throughout the book between the main characters was soooo good. There was definitely a long build up to the "main act" but after that we got it good. It was spicy but lovable. The gentleness got straight to my heart. It was sweet but hit you in the feels too.

I'm looking forward to Xander's story!

First of all I will try not to cry but @ is the absolute bestest and had me part of every single aspect of this book. I love her and her stories so much and I will make sure everyone knows it. Cassie you are my firefly and light up my life.

Ok now that I got emotional lets talk about this perfect story. This is an interconnected series with age gap, pain, passion and smut. But don't let any of that make you think the plot and Rollercoaster of emotions were not perfect. My heart HURT listening to his thoughts and pain. Watching him heal slowly and learning to love himself again made me cry so hard. Then we got to watch Tori rebuild herself after a terrible dom tore her down to a Skelton of herself. This story is about finding yourself and becoming the best version of yourself for the one you love AND yourself.

Tori
She is a hot cam girl that fakes it all for the random men that pay her. All except one. The man she never gets to see, who always takes care of her and makes sure she climaxes nonstop. She is a sub who was hurt badly by a dom who wasn't a dom but a PoS who just controlled and abused. She doesn't let it completely destroy her ability to trust but it broke her badly. She is an insanely talented musician and is going to college for it. She lives with her best friend and they are ride or die. She is strong even when she doesn't realize it. Going to another friend's wedding changed her life forever.

Dare
He is related to Owen (Tied up in him) and has a twin brother who married the girl Dare liked. He's been through some traumatic things that made him feel like he has no right to be happy. That anything he touches breaks. Then he finds his Diamond who is a cam girl. He never pleasures himself but he always makes sure she's taken care or during their cam sessions. He hides who he is but can't hold back when he sees her. He's a pleasure dom who is absolutely perfect and I love him. He is so patient and understanding. I absolutely adore him and how he takes it slow for her when he senses she is struggling mentally but helps push her to rebuild herself.

Pinneapple pizza is the best and you guys can fight me on that. This story is such a heart wrenching yet happily ever after story that deserves to be read.

Let me tell ya’ll. I was ENAMORED by this book, by DARE. The way I immediately picked this book up when I recieved the ARC aint even funny, I was in the middle of recording a video I was gonna post to snapchat about how excited I am to get new glasses and I was like OH MY GOD CASSIE SENT ME AN ARC so I dropped everything and began reading and lemme tell ya’ll this book had me HOOKED from the beginning 😍 The plot was so good and I love how it started virtual but got to in person and I just love everything about it. Cassie’s writing is so addictive and I literally love all of her FMC’s its like she’s the only author who’s FMC’s I love (no offense to other authors — I’m very picky about my FMC’s)

I should definitely make a post of all my favorite FMC’s 🫣 Roxy from den of vipers is definitely on that list and persy from scaredy cat by aj merlin

but yes ABSOLUTELY pick this book up, I will try to list the tropes below but I’m not very good at recognizing tropes 😭

I wasnt sure how to feel about it at first but diamond is now my favorite petname 😍

I loved this plot so much. The character arc and growth both main characters go through... it was a rollercoaster ride. Longing, healing, and finding oneself again... it's all there. Also. A good age gap never hurts anyone. Tori is such a lost soul who feels she is broken. Dare is lost at sea after some tragic events that led him to a self imposed celibacy. Yet they find each other online and, even with the Dom/sub dynamic, they fall hard for one another before their actual meet cute. As always the writing was amazing. Cassie Fairbanks has a way of pulling you deep into a story. The only thing that felt a bit unfinished was the conflict of the story. To me, it felt too wrapped with a bow too quickly. I felt like there was a great build up and then the boom was more like a sparkler... over with faster than you would like. Even with that, I would love to see Dare and Tori reappear along the way in the series.

🌺 P H E W, this book was so very hot. Our MCs meet when Tori is Dare’s cam girl. They have a k!nky, virtual D/s relationship that suddenly turns very real. I loved fate bringing these two together at the same wedding!
🌺 I am such a sucker for age gap and this one was perfection. Who wouldn’t want a hot, older, thoughtful pleasure Dom?! 🫠
🌺 Both of our MCs are dealing with traumas that they are trying to overcome. I love that they compliment and help heal each other.
🌺 AHHHH I loved the cameo of Rose Cedar’s Havenwood University series! 😍
🌺 I couldn’t put this book down - I loved the suspense and the spice and the angst.

ARC REVIEW
The second book in the kings of honor series by Cassie Fairbanks and it was just as amazing as book one!! These Andrew brothers do not play!! I really loved how Tori and Dare were able to grow with each other in their short amount of time. I loved the overall plot of this even the sad and dark parts, it truly got you more connected to these characters and wanting to know more about them and see them thrive. Also getting to see and hear about Harley and Owen through someone else’s pov was so interesting and fun! I always love a little Easter egg!!! I cannot wait for the next installment in this series because i just know it’ll be sooooo good!! And as always of course the spice was top tier! It’s written by Cassie what do you expect?

OMG Dare and Tori have my entire heart!! What both of the characters went through is heartbreaking and seeing them find strength and safety is each other was absolutely beautiful. What started out as a I’ll never actually meet this person turned into the most amazing love story ever. It took time, but they both ended up finding what they needed in each other and seeing them finally come out of the trauma they suffered and find peace and pleasure in each other was perfect. This man even when he refused to allow himself her fully protected and cared for with everything his could.
