When a summer storm leads to a kiss neither expected, business stops feeling like business. With nosy neighbors and meddling family members betting on their happily ever after, Daniel and Liam must Is this spark just a fling, or the kind of love worth changing everything for?
A laugh-out-loud, feel-good MM romance featuring a billionaire city boy falling for a grumpy cowboy, matchmaking families, small-town charm, and a guaranteed HEA.
Boots for the Billionaire is book one in the Clover Ridge Cowboys series by Andy Rogue. This is my very first book by this author and I am in love. It’s pretty short and packed with so much sweetness, swoon and wonderfulness. I fell in love with these two right from the start.
Daniel Morrison is forty years old. He lives in Seattle and runs a technology conglomerate, always looking for his next investment. His life felt empty, though. So he’s off to rural Washington to the small town of Clover Ridge to see what investments might be there for him. What he found was so much more.
Liam Hale is thirty four years old and runs his family’s ranch. Liam is openly gay. He has gotten involved with men from the city before, claiming they were interested in the country life, only to have them get bored and run back to the city. So when the gorgeous Daniel shows up, he is determined not to do the same thing.
When Daniel’s fancy car gets stuck on his way to the ranch, and Liam rescues him, the sparks are flying. Daniel has never been attracted to a man before, although all of his past relationships with women always lacked something. He’s shocked by the depth of his attraction to Liam. What I loved about Daniel is that he didn’t even question himself. He was willing to accept this new side of himself and just go with it. Even though Liam is feeling that attraction just as strongly, his head keeps telling him to step back. That this is just another city slicker and that he will get hurt, just like before.
This was such a cute book. It’s such a feel good, warm and fuzzy story, my favorite kind. I loved getting to know Liam’s brother’s too. One of which will be the focus of the next book, Kiss Me For Luck. But, I’m going to back track. Amazon is showing me that there is one novella that precedes this book, although I don’t think it matters what order you read these in. It’s called Friends to Lovers and it’s already on my Kindle, waiting for me.
3 and 1/2 stars. This was really cute and the fact that it was about a cowboy was a big plus. I was disappointed that they almost broke up right before the end, but it didn’t last long.
Big city billionaire meets kindly country folk and receives a new awakening. It's a short but touching story as lessons are learned and a new sense of purpose evolves. A lovely, lovely read of two gorgeous men facing their new reality. Oh, and Mama Hale is just fabulous!
This is my introduction to CLOVER RIDGE COWBOYS. Also this is the first Book I've read by this Author ANDY ROGUE. Gotta say I'm impressed. Daniel is driving through the back roads following his GPS. His Porsche decided to quit running. When he looks up he sees a handsome Cowboy. Liam is distrustful of strangers, especially if they drive cars that cost more than his farm. This is a cute story with a WONDERFUL happily ever after. I'll be keeping my eye out for Books from this new to me Author. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
I totally enjoyed this fast paced, cute story! It was very low angst and insta-lovey. It kept me entertained and before I knew it, the book was over. That's my main issue, the story was too short! I liked both mcs a lot and I'm curious about Liam's brothers! I didn't care for the drama though, the "break up" was unnecessary but at least they talked it out very quickly. I totally recommend this book if you are in a mood for a quick love story! I even liked Daniel, eventhough I fucking hate billionaires, in real life and in books. Daniel felt different though, not your typical billionaire mc.
A short but touching story where lessons are learned and a new sense of purpose takes shape. A billionaire looking to invest in property finds himself in unexpected, forced proximity with a grumpy rancher—and the connection that follows is both heartfelt and satisfying.
- Force proximity - Bi awakening - Found family - Grumpy x sunshine - Small town romance
The storyline was sweet and carefully crafted. I was pleasantly surprised by my wish for a longer story to see if there was any children involved in their life after marriage! I will be looking for more stories from Andy Rogue to complete the series. Thank you for a good romance story!
Swoooooon! I’m a sucker for a cowboy so this for me was amazing! I loved the whole family vibe aswell, it really connected beautifully and felt very homely! Loved the character crossover from book 1 and loved that it gave us a lead in to book 3! I’m addicted to this universe!
This book is exactly what it says it is. A billionaire looking for something new in a small town and a distrusting cowboy who can’t help being attracted to him. It was short and sweet and exactly what you would expect.
No se si el problema soy yo o estos libros. Pero no me motivan lo más mínimo. Son tan cortos que apenas si te llegan a importar los personajes. Luego no hay apenas drama ni trama. Todo es fácil y se resuelve enseguida.
Very sweet, short story about a rich city guy who ends up on a ranch in Washington. Their relationship got off to a very rocky start but ends up being so sweet and thoughtful. I really enjoyed this book!
An entertaining short story set in a small town that sounds like it could be home for so many. Good character interplay, amusing supporting cast and the anticipated happy ending.
It’s so cute and romcomy. There’s some angsty with misunderstanding with both of them at the same time, but it’s quickly solved because the small town talks with each other. They wouldn’t let them separate from each other.
I wish this book was longer, and while it's absolutely unrealistic for a story to contain both a bi-awakening and an insta-love trope, it was a cute story with characters I liked.
I found this very mid, the plot was very weak, the relationship wasn't really believable, the bi-awakening was SO anticlimactic... but I did not get the urge to DNF and it really wasn't that bad. Kinda surprised by the fade-to-black spice scene in this too
