Having been with the Grizzly MC's from the beginning I was so excited when their children's books started and I absolutely loved 'An Outlaw Wedding' so I couldn't wait to start reading Lucas and Tarren's story and while, as you'd expect from Jennika its a hot entertaining read I have to be honest and say that for me it was missing something.
In 'Wedding' I loved Nico and Alexis from the beginning and when he gave her his toy tow truck to cement the deal I was completely won over but I didn't have the same instant connection to Lucas and Tarren and while towards the end of the book they did win me over I struggled early on to really care about them, I was more interested in Dakota and, ok you know I'm not going to spoil it for you but I'm looking forward to their book.
Anyway, this is not a bad book it's an entertaining read but I just didn't really 'gel' with the characters but judging from all the 5 star reviews that's probably down to me.

SOME SPOILERS

Finished reading another great book by Jenika. It was a peachy story for instalment in The Grizzly MC series.

Lucas & Tarren had awareness of each other and emotions, from when they were 18 years old.

Tarren loved Lucas even much longer than that. She was just scared to reveal her feelings, because Lucas had a ladies man reputation. And she thought that he don't want or need old lady in his life.

Lucas meanwhile, started recognise, that his feelings is more than a friends/family towards Tarren. But, he thought that she deserved much better and more, then he could ever offer to her.

《 "It was strange to look at her and wish things could be different, wish he could just tell her that he wanted more with her. But he couldn't, because of many different factors. It was easer this way, easer to just push things aside, go back to the way they were, and hope with time things smoothed out." 》

That didn't go the way Lucas hoped. Through the years, no matter how much he tried, he couldn't forget his feelings towards Tarren. She was always on his mind. They continued, like by some magnet, to end up in each others arms. And one of these moments they got caught by Tarrens father, Dallas.

I got exasperated by Dallas. Yes, she's your daughter. You love, care, want the best for your child and doesn't matter that she/he is 16 or 50 years old. They always going to be your little girl/boy. But still...How Dallas interfered...

《 "She doesn't need a member in her life like that, Lucas, especially one who has been with more females that he can probably even recall..."

"...my daughter is not meant to be a part of your life..." 》

I so wanted have a chat with, Dallas. 'Seriously, how do you know what your girl meant to be or not? It's her life and she needs to decide on her own what she want to be. Even if this would end like a mistake. You can express your oppinion and she listen to it. But in the end, you should respect what Tarren will decide and support her no matter what.

And don't let me start on the first sentence of yours, Dallas. You were in Lucas shoes some years ago, before meeting your old lady, Hope. So, don't start to spit on yourself, with those kind of sayings, Dallas.'

After this 'conversation', instead of going with his bears instincts, Lucas left Tarren again. Still believing he wasn't worth her.

《 "Tarren deserved so much more than what he had given, but a selfish part of him had wanted to say s***w it all and ride back to her so many times. He hadn't though, not so much because of Dallas's warning, but because he told himself that she was better that him, and that in the end he might f*** up royally and ruin anything that they had." 》

Lukas thought if he stoped himself, them from going to be something more, he could still be friends with Tarren. He was scared of losing that. But he didn't think of that, that they oversteped that line, when they first sleept together and there is no way going back. Now was the moment to decide, if you go and grab her with both of your hands and don't letting go ever. Or you back out and losing, everyrhing you could ever have with Tarren, forever.

PS Oh, I know, who is Dakotas love interest. Jenika being so nice, showed here. It looks like 'papa bear' going to have some 'conversation' again. After having aneorysm of course. Lol
BTW loved the reference 'Papa bear'.

PSS Just love when H kick some skanks a**. Go, Tarren!

if you get pass a lot of repetition
I have very mixed feelings about this story. On one hand I loved the romance between Lucas and Tarren, their love for each other was both sweet and hot...the sex was very hot. but they seem like the same love screen from Nico and Alexis story, pretty much word for word

Unfortunately, I either skimmed or skipped through most of the pages since the majority of the book took place during Nico and Alexis story, so there was a lot of repetition

Another fast paced cutesy read, this one about the other twin, Lucas. Unfortunately, I either skimmed or skipped through most of the pages since the majority of the book took place during Nico and Alexis story, so there was a lot of repetition, albeit most from Tarren and Lucas's POV but still repetition nonetheless.

We also get set up for Dakota and Tawny's story, there's only one scene in this book between them, so hopefully there's little to no repetition in their book....

OMG Jenika has done it again.
This book is the bomb (in a great way). It's another couldn't put it down even if you wanted to book.
This book bring so much of the Grizzly series into its not funny. It's a pulse racing read that will leave you on tender hooks waiting for the next in the series.
And I so can't wait.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review. And honestly loved it. This is the first book of the next generation of Grizzly MC's. Lucas and Tarren are the kids of the first Grizzly MC. This is their love story. I did not want to put it down. I recommend this series and this story to all MC lovers.

Love Love Lucas, but Tarren for him, I was not a fan of a little girl, yes I did say little girl who thinks she was an adult because she just turn 18. I know she had had a life growing up with a messed up mom. But I really didn't want Lucas for her. Still regardless it was a very cute story.

Her Grizzly Outlaw - The Grizzly MC Book 8 - By Jenika Snow

Lucas Landon is the twin of Nico Landon whom we met in the previous book in the series An Outlaw Wedding, and the son of Tallin "Jagger" Landon the President of the Grizzly MC, Colorado Chapter, and Tarren Stoker, the daughter of Michael "Dallas" Stoker a fellow original brother of the club. This story initially runs alongside book seven An Outlaw Wedding as we saw Tarren and Lucas throughout that story, but this gives their point of view and of their feelings at those times and others as they tell their story and how they find their own happily ever after. Although their story is packed with emotion and moments of pain and doubt in their own feelings and each other's they learn that communication can change what you think or hope could be into a reality. I felt for these characters as they struggled to connect but clearly cared for on another. Their relationship blossomed into a thing of beauty and I for one am here for it! There were some spelling mistakes but it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story. Another great addition to a truly enjoyable series. I can't wait to see what happens with Tawny and Dakota now, poor Dallas can't catch a break lol. This story can be read as a standalone but to fully appreciate the story, the characters and the Club I suggest that you read the series in order. I loved it as I have all the others, which probably explains why I have read this series more than once and hope that you will too. Happy Reading.
5 out of 5 stars.

This shifter MC had me all caught up in Lucas and Tarren. When he finally connects with her, he feels like he has to let her go because she is too good for him. Will they get their chance for happiness. This story had me in their corner cheering for Lucas to get his chance for happiness.

Great Read!

The author has a knack for a well balanced story. This fills more of the big picture of the Grizzly MC story, leaving more lead in into the next story. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this author's books.

I have very mixed feelings about this story. On one hand I loved the romance between Lucas and Tarren, their love for each other was both sweet and hot...the sex was very hot. On the other hand, the timeline was all over the place. Some of it stood out because I have just quickly re-read "An Outlaw Wedding" and this story is supposed to run concurrently with that one but even if I had not just refreshed my memory there are things in this story alone that show contradiction in the timeline.
As an example: Tawny's age. Tarren tells us that her sister is a couple of years younger than herself. At that time Tarren is about 19. Dakota is three years older than Alexis and Tarren...we know this from both this story and the previous one. That would mean that Tawny is five years younger than Dakota...two years younger than Alexis and Tawny (a couple of years). But when Dakota tells us in this story that he is 25, he also tells us that Tawny has just turned 18. Even a year or so later (hard to tell because of screwy timeline) she has apparently only just graduated from high school...was she kept back?
Unfortunately I find that inaccuracies with the timeline...repeatedly, messes with my overall enjoyment of the story. To be honest with all the skipping around with time, sixteen year olds to eighteen year olds to one year later to six months or maybe a year and a half (hard to tell) later to another six months, then to about eight months later to one month later then a week...I don't feel as if we really got to read about the relationship itself...just bits as we time skipped.
I could go on about the screwy timeline but it would probably give too many spoilers.
I also did not really care for Dakota and Tawny's story to be kind of thrown in there as well. I understand it may be to set it up for Dakota's book but I would rather have just a line or so about maybe Tarren noticing something about the looks Dakota and Tawny were giving each other and leave it at that until their book.

A nice 4.5 stars from me :)
It was another great read from the wonderful Jenika, I love the grizzly's and now the kids it's so cool this series just keeps giving and growing and taking me on one hell of a sexy grizzly ride.
This book is about tarren getting her childhood love lucas who's she's loved since she was younger and after one night she and him felt awkward but tried to not let it and tarrens dad warns Lucas to stay the hell away so this book is set across time scales Which I felt we missing something in Lucas in these times it seemed to be more focus on tarren and her ways, even though I love her I wanted more from them apart more of what Lucas was really like as a outlaw with him and the club. I loved the way Tarren and Lucas felt for each other but didn't fight hard enough for it and felt each other was not good for the other BUT when they did get together WOW we had Sparks and it was hot as hell fire!
I enjoyed that this book did give a few looks into a few kids and I loved the wild Tawny she just had this way that I want more from her. And with Nico and Alexis with there relationship/wedding and a glimps of Dakota which I'm really Excited about as from the very short snip in here you will want more from him too!
The ending of this book was so lovely and apart from my very very small gripe bit about Lucas this book is well written and a great love bond.
Well done Jenika for this love story and just keep them coming, If you haven't read a grizzly book your Missing out and when you have finished this review go get them and Enjoy like I do.

For some reason, I missed this one when it came out and ended up reading Dakota's Claim (Grizzly MC #9) before it. It didn't spoil my enjoyment, though, since the first three new generation books in the Grizzly series are basically following the same time line. If you're starting with the new generation, start with #7, the first new generation book. Jenika Snow provides a family tree at the beginning of these new generation books, so you can keep the characters (and their parents from the first generation) straight.

Landon (Jagger's son) and Tarren (Dallas's son) have wanted each other for a long time (I remember a scene with them both when they're toddlers, so that is a very *long* time).

Dallas is an uptight Grizzly dad and doesn't want Landon to have anything to do with Tarren. In fact, he lays it on thick, saying he doesn't want his daughter to have anything to do with any MC dude. Too bad, dad! They want each other.

Lots of angst and lots of hot sex. There's less about the MC in these new generation books, but I guess the formula for these is angst + MC = (more of a) YA audience.

I liked the extreme dirtiness of the original generation a bit more, but I also enjoy these new generation books, including this one.

Thanks for reading!

It is really amazing to see the next generation in the Grizzly MC series grow and find their own HEA. When I started reading this story, I just couldn’t put it down, I needed to know what happens.

The story revolves around Lucas who is the son of the MC President and Tarren who is Dallas’ daughter. At a young age, they give in to their instincts but go their own way for a while, then reconnect and those instincts are still there. Lucas doesn’t think he is good enough for her as he has this bad reputation of being a ladies’ man. But for Tarren, he is her one, her fate, her destiny.

I love how strong of a character Tarren is, she doesn’t take crap from anyone, and Lucas knows he has feelings for her but can't voice those feelings, reinforced by Dallas telling him he isn't good enough for his baby girl. Love how we also get glimpses on a few other youngsters and know that their stories are just waiting to be told.

I highly recommend this story, Jenika’s books are always a treat, you’ll find lots of sexy scenes but also strong characters, lots of romance and great storylines.

This is one of the worst Edited books I have read. There were way too many grammatical errors, name switches, and time line issues that it completely threw me out of the story. To be honest with all the skipping around with time I don't feel as if we really got to read about the relationship itself...just bits as we time skipped.

Maybe it would have been easier to keep up and keep everyone straight if I had read this series all together. BUT I have read a lot of MC stories, a lot with the same/similar names, and I think I have read some of this series out of order. I was confusing myself trying to remember the back stories of other characters. So ultimately I was lost in a sea of confusion and an editing nightmare. I will keep reading Jenika just because I love her idea's, but this was is skip-able in my opinion.

When I first realised this book was going to be Tarren and Lucas' story I was a little disappointed. I thought we'd already got a fair bit of their story in the last book but then I read more and I really enjoyed getting more in depth with these two. Especially Lucas. Lucas came across as a bit of a manwhore in the last book. He seemed to be well known for screwing with a lot of the club whores but now knowing that since his hook up with Tarren he only wanted to be with Tarren. These grizzly guys are such sweet hearts in the end when they find their female.

Tarren Stoker is the daughter of an a original Grizzly MC member and he doesn’t think any of the bear shifter bikers are good enough for his daughter but that doesn’t stop her from falling for the sexy Lucas in this riveting paranormal romance. The story is a quick and entertaining read and while you don’t have to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this one, you have a better understanding of the MC and the characters if you do.

OMG! Love these Grizzly books and how the author writes the next generation stories. Well written, entertaining, hot and sweet for a MC book. Tarren and Lucas have that forbidden love and try to go separate ways but found their love never dies. Loved their lovable characters and passionate chemistry. Definitely believable. Would recommend this book and the whole series. Can't wait for more in this series!!!!

Really love this series but then again I am such a Jenika Snow fan I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I have read of hers. I like the fact that her characters are not perfect. They all have a history and find a way to get their happy ever after. Her heroes are hot and her heroines are real women with regular hang ups such as body issues.
