This is Daniel and Laura story which is told from a dual point of view. Captivating. Compelling. Delicious. Sinful. An absorbing addictive and unputdownable read. A definite page turner with enticing erotic scenes that's filled with tension, emotions, heartaches, and all the feels that pull you through the pages and makes you feel as if you're right there with them. The two were stuck in a remote area and realized that after all these years that they still felt the same way about each and indulge themselves in four passion-filled night and days.
However, once they got rescued and went back to the real world and their they couldn't continued their new found relationship because her brother got in the way of their happiness. But when she finds out that she's pregnant it changes everything and the trajectory of their lives. How will Ethan react to Daniel getting his sister pregnant? And will these two finally gets their happily-ever-after this second go around? How will Daniel react to becoming a father? Will Ethan get out of the way and allow these two to become a family?

True Love that Never Ends -
Daniel and Laura’s previous relationship didn’t end on a happy note, so they didn’t know how to handle working close together again. However, everything changed when they were stranded together and had to put all their displeasures aside, so they could keep each other safe until they were rescued. After Daniel and Laura were resurrected, their relationship went back to their normal ways of keeping each other at arms length, but their feelings for them hadn’t waned, so they embarked on a secret relationship, which led to ongoing dalliances.

Unfortunately, Laura found herself in a quandary where she was forced to make a life changing decision, but just before she deadlines was up, she discovered another complication that could potentially affect her decision. Nevertheless, Laura made the decision that she felt was best for her without speaking to Daniel, but he was also keeping a secret from her. As luck would have it, Daniel found the courage to write a letter to Laura to not only confess his true feelings for her and reveal the secret he had been keeping from their past, but he also made her aware he knew about her secret.

Laura took it upon herself to return to confront Daniel, which gave them the chance to resolve their conflict and get back on track towards the happily ever after they always wanted. This story is not a run of the mill second chance romance, as it incorporates an element of altruism linked to humanitarian projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This was an invigorating, well written romance story, that ha£ me enthralled from the beginning and took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, but ultimately left my heart singing with joy and wanting to read more of Daniel and Laura’s story.

This book evoked so many emotions while I read it. It is raw and beautiful . Daniel has been an enigma in the Blackwood family. He was always on the outskirts of their lives. A pilot always away from the family but came around when it really matters. I did not realize that he felt like the outsider or blacksheep of the family because his life took a different path. This book describes his life and experiences. They are very interesting. The author did an amazing job with it. This is raw and emotional. His feelings are pure. This is a love story that has so many layers to it. Laura had big dreams about her life . But she also had some big insecurities too. This is what makes her and Daniel’s story so compelling. They both have a lot to unpack and deal with before they can get their forever together. Love is messy and feelings can get in the way. This story showed how raw and perfect it can be. The key is opening yourself up enough to be honest with words as well as actions. That is a struggle! The author did a great job with this book and the characters. It deals with tough situations as well. They are not in the city with day jobs they are literally out in a jungle dealing with hardship and trying to rebuild disaster and chaos. It is such an amazing story. It shows how much family love and support the Blackwoods have for each other. It also shows how close Laura is with her brother Ethan. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this story!.

This is the 4th story in the Blackwood Legacy Series where Daniel who has taken a different path from his very successful brothers in the business world, became a pilot to the wealthy then for humanitarian efforts. When Laura was a young woman she was in love with Daniel and when she was offered her dream job she took a chance leaving Daniel and herself heartbroken. Years later Daniel jumps at the opportunity to work with Laura and do the sparks start right away. They become stranded in the jungle after their plane goes down and surviving gives them 4 incredible days and once reality returns the tension, hardship of their environment, chaos, an older overprotective brother, Ethan and ex-best friend interfere in any chance of them figuring out their relationship. These two have insecurities, doubts, secrets, messy feelings, unable to express their love for one another that take them on a emotional journey with struggles that find themselves making wrong decisions until they take a final chance at love. It’s wonderful to see these two make decisions for one another, helping those in need and having family support them along the way! Daniel and Laura have a history. They were in love once but she walked away to follow her dream job that didn’t work out. Daniel is a pilot who at one time was reckless and spur of the moment type of guy. He loved Laura but always felt like he was never enough. Laura and Daniel meet up again when her brother Ethan asks Daniel to make a flight in difficult conditions. He knows that Daniel is the only pilot that can fly under the circumstances. When Ethan can’t make the flight with Daniel that leaves Laura to take his place. When their plane goes down and they have to depend on each other to survive how will they be able to put the past behind them?
Josie delivers a wonderfully heartfelt story about second chances and surviving under difficult conditions learning to trust again after secrets come out. I loved this book and all of the Blackwood’s books. Great job Josie.

This book is a fast, fiery second-chance romance that hits all the classic tropes: brother’s best friend, forced proximity, and—surprise!—a baby after a crash landing.

Daniel Blackwood was her first love and her biggest heartbreak. Now they’re stranded together, sparks flying harder than the danger outside. The tension is hot, the emotions are messy, and when she realizes she’s pregnant... oh boy, the drama explodes in the best way.

What I loved:

Off-the-charts chemistry and angst

Action + romance kept me glued

That emotional payoff at the end? Chef’s kiss

What held it back a bit:

Some plot points felt familiar

Could’ve used a little more emotional depth between explosions

Final Verdict: A fun, steamy, dramatic ride with heart. If you love second chances and surprise baby chaos, this billionaire romance delivers. Solid 4 out of 5 stars!

Daniel and Laura’s story is a good one!
Daniel is a pilot and humanitarian but he doesn’t feel good enough for Laura or even to be a Blackwood brother
But Daniel is keeping a secret from Laura that could split them apart! Does he tell her or keep it to himself??
Laura is a humanitarian and her brother Ethan is supposed to attend a flight in Congo to deliver medical supplies needed to a camp and he arranges for a pilot for the cargo plane for her but it’s their long lost friend Daniel Blackwood and Laura’s ex!
So how will this play out! Ethan backs out of this flight and leaves just Daniel and Laura to charter this cargo plane to this camp alone! What will happen to these two alone??
There’s spice and romance! I loved this book!

Flying away with your heart

Rekindled Hearts is the fourth book in the Blackwood Billionaires (Blackwood Legacy) series. This is a second chance romance between Laura and Daniel. The story is a journey which I was happy to be taken on. I really loved both main characters and the deep feelings they have for each other but also the issues they must work out in order to be together. These two are special, interesting, and complicated. Their relationship is the same with more than a few twists and turns along the way. Will they ever be able to find their way to each other and a HEA that is perfect for them? Or will they always have a wide open space between them which is too far to reach?

This book reintroduced us to the Blackwoods with Daniel who is the pilot and not involved in the family business at all. And we meet Laura. She and Daniel were together until she left to take a job of her dreams. But when Daniel tried to help her it ended up costing her the job.
So here she is years later working for a company that delivers food, medicine and other needed items to areas of the world that are dealing with flooding and famine. And things are moving along.
Until her brother who is also her boss tells her that he has called in a pilot when their regular one gets sick. And he calls Daniel.

Second Guessing

Just a wee little secret kept away from Laura, will this be the end for her love for Daniel? Is his guilt of withholding his secret going to eat at him the longer they succumb to their desires or is he going to take a chance & come clean, accepting the consequences? What about Laura's little secret? Avoiding the elephants in the room isn't the answer but is the risk worth their assumptions of repeated history? A good story to read of 2 people meant for each other but overthinking different scenarios & those sad end results for each scenario.

Daniel was Laura's first love and is also her brother's best friend. Now they find themselves stranded and old feelings resurface. Then Laura finds out she is pregnant. This is a fast paced emotional story that will have you rooting for a happily ever after.

I mean if you’re lost in the jungle, with the ex you’re still in love with, you might as well get it on. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love and Secrets

Complicated doesn't begin to cover Laura and Daniel's connection. Secrets, love buried in complex emotions and surprises are the backbone of this story, and it was definitely intriguing. I wanted to root for their happy ending but also knock some sense into these two. The development of the story and characters was beautifully written.

Daniel's keeping a secret. Laura is too. They still care for each other even though they haven't seen each other for years. They have difficulty being honest with each other. The trust just isn't there. When they finally make the decision to be honest with each other, they have a chance to see whether they want forever, together.
