Charade is a 1963 American romantic screwball comedy mystery film, shot on location in Paris, produced and directed by Stanley Donen, written by Peter Stone and Marc Behm, and starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. The cast also features Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy, Dominique Minot, Ned Glass and Jacques Marin. It spans three suspense thriller, romance and comedy. Charade is one of my all time favorite movies. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve watched it. It’s one of those wonderful movies that fits into multiple genres: mystery/thriller, romance, and comedy.

This is the audio track of the film and it was SUCH a treat to listen to! I knew the story well, so that definitely helped, but I would definitely recommend this one. I had no idea this existed until I saw it on Hoopla. Let me tell you, I was very excited to listen to it! It made me want to rewatch the movie. It’s such a classic.
