Fated Mates Dragon Shifter Romance Past Lives Enemies to Lovers Forbidden Love Touch Her and Die He Falls First
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I got kidnapped by a cult, bonded to a cursed dragon, and now my soulmate might kill me—again.
I was just trying to save a wounded shifter in the woods. Next thing I know, I'm chained in a dungeon... staring into the eyes of a dragon who somehow knows my name.
There's something ancient in his gaze. Something that sees through me. The worst part? My soul remembers him.
When I touch him, fire erupts under my skin. Visions crash through me. Past lives. Broken vows. A kiss that never happened.
We escape—barely—and I'm stuck with a dragon who growls like a villain but guards me like I'm treasure.
He bleeds for me. He shifts for me. He whispers my true name. I've fallen for him—fully, stupidly, hopelessly.
But his curse is tied to mine.
If I choose him, I lose my immortality. If I don't... he stays a beast forever.
And last time I tried to save him? I died screaming his name.

Ravan Tempest writes immersive paranormal romance filled with dangerous attraction, powerful supernatural worlds, and emotionally charged relationships. From fae kingdoms and wolf shifter packs to forbidden bonds and dark fantasy romance, her stories blend passion, tension, magic, and obsession into unforgettable reading experiences.
Known for creating intense chemistry, strong heroines, morally complex characters, and atmospheric storytelling, Ravan Tempest crafts worlds where love is rarely simple and destiny always comes with a price.
When she isn’t writing, she’s usually lost in fantasy worlds, collecting story ideas, or building new realms for readers to escape into.
One of the vaguest books I've ever read. Apparently, a curse needs to be broken, but all context is missing. It reads like a lyrical and poetically written nightmare. It might be your thing, but unfortunately, it's not mine.
Shadows of the Cursed Dragon by Ravan Tempest (The Eternal Bond Series, Book 1) There is something quietly relentless about a love story that refuses, across lifetimes, to take no for an answer. Ravan Tempest has built her series entry around precisely this premise, and the result is the kind of fantasy romance that settles into your chest and makes itself at home without asking permission. The world Tempest constructs is rich, layered, and populated with the sort of mythical architecture that rewards a reader willing to give it a few chapters to breathe. And breathe it must: the opening pages arrive with considerable momentum and more than a little deliberate complexity, the kind that initially feels like a great deal to hold at once. Persist. The threads resolve themselves with gathering confidence, and what initially reads as density reveals itself, in time, as depth. At the story's core sits a concept that is both ancient and genuinely affecting: two souls locked in an endless cycle of finding one another, losing one another, and beginning again, with the cruel asymmetry that only one carries the accumulated memory of every previous turn. The emotional weight of this conceit is handled with more sophistication than the premise might suggest, and it raises questions the narrative is in no hurry to answer cheaply. How does one dismantle a loop centuries in the making? How does one dismantle the shadowy, acquisitive Brotherhood that has made ownership of these two souls its particular project? The central pairing navigates their reunion with a push and pull that feels earned rather than manufactured: one guarded and unreachable, the other piecing together a connection she can sense but not yet name. Their trusted companion, a gryphon whose role sits somewhere between guide, witness, and the only person in the room with full context, adds a dynamic that elevates the ensemble considerably. The anxiety this book generates is, it should be noted, entirely intentional and absolutely not light. Plan accordingly. Five books in this series are promised. After this first entry, that feels less like a commitment and considerably more like an invitation.
The Eternal Bond series is going to be a total of 5 books. Book 1, Shadows of the Cursed Dragon, showcases Ravan Tempest’s ability to write a story that captivates and immerses readers into a wonderful fantasy world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and two people who are fated to one another but don’t remember each other. With themes of reincarnation, soulmates, and true love finding you no matter what, this book was deep, emotional, and unexpected.
Claire and Kade do not understand the pull they feel between the two of them. As fated mates, these two have found each other over and over, but they have a curse that keeps them from being happy. The curse involves reincarnation and memories. Basically they find each other, fall in love, then one passes away. The one who lives remembers everything and is left waiting until they meet again, while the one who passes away comes back with no memories of any past lives. This is a constant cycle they have been stuck in, with no hints on how to break it.
Claire can feel their pull and wants answers, while Kade just keeps his distance. Who can blame him? While a romance at the heart, this book is filled with action, drama, and plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ravan made the attraction between our MCs palpable and I found myself tearing up during their journey back to each other.
With 4 more books to go, I am excited to see what will come of our MCs. Will they be able to break the curse? Will they find their forever with each other? In a world where this hopeless romantic truly believes that love can conquer all, I want to see that happen in this series!
As always, review any author notes before reading.
What to Expect: 🔥Fated Mates 🐉He Falls First 🔥Cursed MCs 🐉Second Chance Romance 🔥Hidden Identity 🐉Forbidden Romance 🔥Found Family 🐉Touch Her and 💀
The story of Kade and Claire stands as a reminder that when you love, love honestly, give 100% or move out of the way for the one who will, and live like there’s no tomorrow.
Oh, how the tears flowed when that price was paid. This, above all else, stands at the forefront of my mind as I write this. What one will give for the purity of love—knowing it would not be squandered.
‘Shadows of the Cursed Dragon’, written by Raven Tempest, is a story of a love so deep, so achingly profound, it penetrates deep within. I feel it settling still, telling me it will be there long after this day is over. To say I did not expect this book to affect me this way would mean disparagement to this beautiful love story—This story is so much more than a love story. It has drama, adventure, action, blood, gore … it has it all.
Archer is up next …

When I started this book, I was a little confused as to what was happening. There was so much going on; however, as the story continued, it was easy to follow along. Two fated mates, stuck in a constant loop of death and rebirth, forced to watch each other die, only to find each other again. The caveat, depending on who dies first, the other is the one to hold on to that memory. So the question now begs: how do you stop the loop? How do you break the cycle? How do you destroy the Brotherhood that wants to own everything you are?
Claire, a magical healer, and Kade, a dragon shifter, are once again reunited. Kade is distant, while Claire is trying to piece everything together, including her connection with Kade. Joined by their trusted guide, witness, and advisor Zephyr, a gryphon, Claire and Kade have to navigate the twists and turns that are their love, life, and take on the Brotherhood.
This book is perfect if you enjoy stories that are about fated mates...especially one that is a dragon shifter, has action, and will have your anxiety on full blast, then this is the book for you!

This paranormal dragon romance has a very lyrical, almost poetic writing style. The prose creates an atmospheric reading experience, and it's clear that the author was aiming for a more literary approach than a typical genre romance.
For me, however, the story remained too abstract. The central plot revolves around breaking a curse, yet very little concrete information is given about the curse itself or what is truly at stake. I kept waiting for more context, but it never fully materialized.
The romance follows a similar pattern. It's gentle, dreamy, and emotional, but I struggled to connect with it because so much of it remained implied rather than clearly developed. I found myself wanting more substance and a stronger sense of progression.
Overall, I can see this appealing to readers who enjoy poetic, atmospheric storytelling and don't mind a more impressionistic style. Personally, I found it difficult to stay engaged because I was looking for a more defined plot and a romance with clearer emotional development.

This book felt like stepping into a legend. The prose was lyrical and vivid, painting forests, dungeons, and battle scenes with equal brilliance. What really stood out to me was how the love story was interwoven with the action nothing felt separate, every moment pushed both the plot and the romance forward. It’s the kind of fantasy romance that feels cinematic, like it could easily be adapted into a sweeping film.
The reincarnation theme was handled beautifully, with each flashback adding not just context but genuine emotion. I found myself holding my breath as Claire remembered pieces of her past and Kade revealed his centuries of suffering. The gryphon companion was the perfect touch, grounding the story in loyalty and hope. This was an epic tale of love that truly earned its happily-ever-after.
This story was pure intensity from beginning to end. The opening hooked me instantly with its dangerous premise being kidnapped by a cult and thrown into a dungeon already had my heart racing. But when the dragon appeared and recognized the heroine’s soul, I knew this was going to be more than just action; it was going to be heartbreak, passion, and destiny all tangled together. The reincarnation element was hauntingly beautiful, making every scene feel layered with history.
What I loved most was the tension between choice and sacrifice. Every moment between them felt heavy with consequence, yet their chemistry burned through every obstacle. I found myself clinging to every page, desperate to see whether love would finally conquer curses and immortality. It’s one of those rare books that feels both fantastical and deeply human at the same time.
This story is one of the most original takes on fated mates and reincarnation I’ve read. The author didn’t just give us a love story they gave us lifetimes of passion, sacrifice, and heartbreak woven into a single tale. The concept of a soulmate who might kill you, paired with a bond that burns through every life, made this book impossible to put down. Every page was steeped in atmosphere, and I felt chained in that dungeon right alongside the heroine.
What makes it truly memorable is the emotional weight. Each vision of past lives adds a layer of longing, and the stakes couldn’t be higher: immortality versus love, freedom versus curse. The writing is lush, the pacing relentless, and the romance so fiery it left me breathless. For fans of epic fantasy romance, this one sets a new standard.
This book completely stole my heart. From the very first chapter, I was swept into a world of dragons, curses, and a love so powerful it spans centuries. Kade’s torment and Claire’s compassion felt so real that I found myself aching for them both. Every page was rich with emotion, tension, and longing, and the reincarnated lovers trope was done in such a fresh and powerful way that it didn’t feel cliché it felt eternal.
By the time I reached the final chapters, I was both crying and smiling. The way their love finally triumphed over lifetimes of tragedy was nothing short of breathtaking. The gryphon companion added a layer of loyalty and hope that gave the story even more depth. This isn’t just a romance it’s an epic journey of healing, forgiveness, and love that refuses to die.
Shadows of the Cursed Dragon is an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible. Every twist pulled me deeper into the story, and every glimpse of Kade and Claire’s past lives made my heart ache. The theme of love that endures through tragedy and time was written so beautifully that it resonated on a soul-deep level. I’ve read a lot of fantasy romances, but few have captured this level of passion and heartbreak all at once.
The writing is lush and immersive, bringing to life the forests, the dungeon, and the sense of danger that follows the characters. I especially loved how the gryphon was not just a sidekick but a loyal companion who symbolized unwavering faith. By the end, I felt like I’d lived multiple lives alongside these characters, and their triumph felt like my own.
Will the dragon and healer ever be able to be together?
While healing a creature in the woods, Claire is taken hostage by The Brotherhood. They take her to their stronghold and force her to heal a dragon. Not just any dragon, one Claire recognizes as having been the love of her life. Over and over again, these two find each other, only to be torn apart and they end up going through the cycle again and again. This is truly a beautiful story of true love. The writing style of the Ravan Tempest is perfect for this story and just flows from one scene to the next. I found myself caught up in the story and really hoping these two could manage to escape the cycle.

What a stunning story of redemption and eternal love! From the first moment Kade and Claire meet in this lifetime, I could feel the weight of all their past lives pressing down on them. The author captured that bittersweet mix of familiarity and heartbreak so well that I was completely invested. Every glance, every touch between them carried centuries of longing and pain, and it was impossible not to root for their happy ending.
The pacing of the story was excellent, balancing high-stakes danger with deeply emotional moments. I especially loved how Claire grew into her hidden heritage, embracing not just her powers but her place beside Kade. The ending was so satisfying watching the curse finally break felt like a victory I’d been waiting lifetimes for right alongside the characters.
I’m completely blown away by this book. The depth of emotion is unlike anything I’ve read recently in the fantasy romance genre. Kade’s torment as a cursed dragon was written so vividly that I could feel his despair, yet also his fierce devotion. Claire’s courage and determination to break free from both captivity and fate made her an unforgettable heroine. Their love story was tragic, fiery, and healing all at once.
Beyond the romance, I appreciated the thoughtful themes of forgiveness, sacrifice, and second chances. The battles with the brotherhood were gripping, but it was the quiet, intimate moments between Kade and Claire that truly made this story shine. By the end, I was smiling through tears, deeply moved by a love that finally found peace after centuries of heartbreak.
This book completely swept me off my feet! From the moment the heroine is kidnapped and comes face to face with the cursed dragon, the intensity of the story gripped me. The danger, the secrets, and the emotional pull between the two characters had me on the edge of my seat. Every line of the blurb made me curious about what came next, and the story itself delivered passion, heartbreak, and magic in equal measure.
The soulmate bond was written with so much depth and raw intensity. I loved how the dragon wasn’t just a beast, but a protector, a villain, and a lover all at once. The tension between losing immortality and saving him made the romance feel truly high stakes. This is one of those fantasy romances that leaves you thinking about it long after you’ve finished.
I picked this book up at 9 p.m. on a Tuesday. I finished it at 3 a.m., sitting on my kitchen floor because I had forgotten to move. Claire just wanted to help a wounded creature in the woods. That one act of kindness got her kidnapped, chained in a dungeon, and bonded to a cursed dragon shifter whose eyes somehow already knew her name. What destroyed me was the reincarnation thread the idea that these two souls have found each other across multiple lifetimes, only to be torn apart every single time. Every past-life vision hit like a freight train. By the time the final choice arrived immortality or love I was a wreck. Ravan Tempest did not come to play. This book is the kind of story that settles inside your chest and refuses to leave. 5/5.
What Ravan Tempest accomplishes in Shadows of the Cursed Dragon is genuinely impressive for a debut. She takes two well-worn tropes fated mates and reincarnation and layers them with a moral complexity that elevates the whole story. Claire's dilemma is not simply "love vs. duty." It is a question of what love is actually worth when it costs you your very nature. Giving up immortality is not just a romantic sacrifice; it is an identity sacrifice. And Kade, for all his menace, is written with enough interiority that you understand his centuries of suffering without ever excusing the darkness it created. The gryphon companion was an unexpected emotional anchor. A beautifully written start to a series.
This is Book 1 of the Eternal Bond series. And a FANrastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.
'IMPORTANT: These are not cozy stories. They're dark, rough, and emotionally intense, but at the same time full and rich, and they'll stay with you long after you've finished. They also must be read in order, they are not stand alone books.'
The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This book was such a fun escape! From the very beginning, the idea of Santa and Sandra trying to be “normal” tourists had me hooked, because you just know it’s not going to end well. The hotel takeover plot kept things lively, and I loved the way the author wove in all the funny little mishaps that only Santa could cause.
Even though it’s laugh-out-loud funny, the writing also has warmth, which is why it works so well. Santa isn’t a caricature he’s lovable, clumsy, and well-meaning, which makes the chaos all the better. Sandra’s determination for peace added another layer of comedy. It’s the kind of story you breeze through and immediately want to recommend.
What a fantastic continuation of the Santa Saga! This third book manages to keep everything fresh while building on the charm of the earlier stories. Sandra’s dream of a quiet holiday is such a relatable setup, and Santa’s constant talent for turning good intentions into disaster was as funny as ever. The hotel rivalry made the plot really engaging without losing the humor.
I especially enjoyed how the author captures that mix of comedy and heart you laugh at the mess, but you also root for Santa and Sandra along the way. It’s such a unique series and this book in particular made me wish it could be adapted for the screen. Highly entertaining from start to finish.
This was a delightful read from beginning to end. The idea of Santa on holiday, trying to stay low-profile while still meddling in other people’s problems, is just too good. The scenes with the rival hotel manager were some of my favorites hilarious and clever at the same time.
But what stood out most was how warm and engaging the writing feels. The humor is laugh-out-loud, yet it never loses its heart. Sandra, as always, grounds the story, and her exasperation is as entertaining as Santa’s mischief. It’s witty, light, and leaves you smiling long after you’ve finished. Definitely a five-star read.
I couldn’t stop laughing while reading this book! Sandra’s hope for a normal holiday is completely shattered by Santa’s well-meaning but chaotic interventions. From trying to help the struggling hotel manager to unintentionally sabotaging the rival, every moment is packed with humor and clever twists that kept me engaged throughout.
The author does a wonderful job balancing the comedy with heart. Santa’s innocent misadventures are endlessly entertaining, while Sandra’s attempts at calm make her so relatable. The story is a perfect mix of fun, warmth, and quirky chaos definitely a book I’ll be recommending to friends.
This third installment of the Santa Saga is just as delightful and funny as the first two. Sandra’s sunny holiday plans are hilariously interrupted at every turn, and watching Santa stumble through the hotel chaos had me smiling the entire time. The story is clever, playful, and full of unexpected surprises that make it impossible to put down.
What makes it truly enjoyable is the charm of the characters. Santa is lovable in his chaos, and Sandra’s reactions are both amusing and realistic. The humor never feels forced, and the story leaves you feeling cheerful and entertained. A fantastic read for anyone looking for laughter and heart.

This is one of the most emotional fantasy romances I’ve read in a long time. The heroine’s journey from healer to soulmate, from confusion to full-hearted love, felt authentic and earned. Her bond with the cursed dragon was tragic and tender, and every time their souls connected, it felt like fate unfolding before my eyes.
The themes of memory, loss, and eternal love were woven beautifully into the plot. I especially loved how the danger never stopped the cult, the curse, the choices she had to face yet the romance always stayed at the center. It’s a heartbreaking, breathtaking ride that I couldn’t stop thinking about long after I finished.
The description promised danger, romance, and curses and the book delivered all of that and more. The heroine’s fiery spirit contrasted so perfectly with the dragon’s brooding intensity. Their dynamic felt alive, shifting between tenderness and raw power, and the past-life visions added a haunting beauty to every interaction.
What stood out most to me was the emotional stakes. Every kiss, every confession, every choice felt like it could shatter or save them. It wasn’t just about breaking a curse it was about deciding what love is worth, even against impossible odds. This book is a gem for readers who crave passion that feels larger than life.
This story absolutely floored me. The setup is so unique a healer who stumbles into danger, a dragon cursed by fate, and a soulmate bond that carries the weight of centuries. I was immediately hooked by the intensity of their connection, the way memories from past lives bleed into the present, and the heartbreaking stakes of loving someone who might be your doom.
The emotional layers are what truly set this book apart. Every choice feels heavy, every look between them charged with meaning. The dungeon scene, the visions, and the whispered true name were written so vividly I felt them in my chest. It’s a fantasy romance that’s as beautiful as it is tragic and I loved every word.
What makes this book unforgettable is how it combines danger, passion, and destiny in such a seamless way. The opening line drew me right in, and from there it never let me go. The cult, the chains, the dragon who knows her name it all built this atmosphere of mystery and inevitability that kept me turning pages late into the night.
But at the heart of it all is the love story. It’s not just attraction; it’s lifetimes of love and loss carried into the present. That kind of intensity is rare, and the author nailed it. The idea of falling in love with someone who once killed you is both terrifying and romantic, and the execution was perfect
Rarely does a book make me feel so much in so little time. This one had me hooked from the first line and kept me there with its blend of danger, longing, and destiny. The heroine’s struggle between immortality and love was deeply compelling, and the dragon’s tortured devotion made me fall for him completely.
The writing is evocative and emotional, pulling you into each scene until you can’t look away. I especially loved the way the author used small details the growls, the whispers, the visions to build a bond that felt both ancient and brand new. An incredible read that I’ll be recommending everywhere.
