Like many young women, Aja Pershing had a lot of ideas about what she might become when she grew up. She could tell you, however, that “second-generation super-villain” was nowhere on her list.
Yet forces beyond her control are pushing her to take up the mantle of the deadly mercenary Manticore — or as Aja knows her, Mom.

A marvelous return
I was excited and intrigued when this new addition to the “Action Figures”” Universe popped up on my kindle. To be honest, I had despaired that I would not be allowed to return to this wonderful world and all of its interesting and well developed characters. I am SO glad to be wrong. Legacies is an outstanding return and promises new adventures into a bright and vibrant universe. It’s not quite Action Figures-The Next Generation, but it does hit all the high points of what is arguably one of the best Superhero prose series out today. This story was tight, and well crafted. Bringing in new blood and setting up what I hope to be a rousing set of new adventures . Bravo, Mr. Bailey
