Club Privé: French Connection Vol. III (Club Privé: French Connection, #3) is a continuation of Gavin and Cassie's story.
Gavin and Cassie could not be further apart especially what was supposed to be a reconnection this trip has turned out to be full of lies, secrets, hidden agendas and deceit.
I have loved the first series of these two who have become some of my fav characters so was sure how I am liking this part of their story. I am still up in arms.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
Volume III was a great conclusion to this series. M.S. Parker keeps finding ways to keep me invested in these characters. I did find Carrie starting to grate on my nerves a little in this one the longer the book went on. I was happy to see the reappearance of Krissy in this one. Can't wait to see where Chasing Perfection goes.
Looking at my most read authors on Goodreads and M.S. Parker has quickly jumped to the top of the list! If you haven't tried any of her work you should, they are quick steamy enjoyable reads!

Sexy, sizzling, enticing.
Novella length instalments make for very quick and easy reading.

What a way to end this series. Gavin and Carrie have been through a lot together and it didn't get easier. This is an great ending to an great story. I don't want to say too much to give anything away.

Finished reading this series. Club Privé and French Connection.
All the positive points can be read in all the 4- and 5-star reviews.
I give three stars, because there are a few negatives:
1. there is NO OCEAN in the South of France. So there is NO OCEAN view, but a SEA view. For those geographical geniuses who do not know this: the South of France looks out on the Mediterranean Sea. This mistake is found in many books written by these American ladies. So my advice: DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Look at a map before writing such gross mistakes.
2. the constant errors and confusion made with the verbs TO LIE and TO LAY is irritating. Tells me something about the quality of the editors. So there is room for improvement here too.
3. many quotes are in French. Alas, lots of mistakes here. My advice: if you feel the need - as a writer - to use other languages, get your junk right. Contact native speakers and make sure, all is correctly spelled after editing.
4. the plot is - to say the least - a bit over the top. But that is for the writer to decide, I just read the books and... enjoy them!

Was a little disappointed with this part of the series. There was not near enuff in the story for what was going on, too many things didnt get enuff information. Alizee was just to shallow of a character, not enuff about her or Vincent as far as that goes. Would have been great to see Gavin introduce Carrie to the lifestyle, and maybe some info about the club itself beside adult safe and consensual. Did the pool remain? Did Gavin actually go into business with Vincent even with everything that happened with Alizee or was it all called off?

While Carrie it out with Pierre see what he has so far for his story they decide to go see Alizee’s yacht. Only when Carrie gets there see gets more than see is bargaining for. She sees Alizee and Gavin on the yacht together kissing. It is a small distance away from the dock. She is sickened by this. She has given Gavin everything. Pierre stops her as she is running away. She tells him that the man on the boat is her boyfriend. He tells her that she can not tell Gavin that see saw him. Carrie is confused by this. She plans on telling him and yelling at him and a few other things. Pierre is worried that if she tells Gavin he will act differently around Alizee and giveaway what they are trying to do. She goes back to the hotel room to wait for Gavin and decide what she is going to do. Meanwhile on the boat Gavin pulls away from Alizee and makes it clear that he is with Carrie and only Carrie. Alizee proceeds to try and convince him to do what she wants. When he still refuses she tells him to swim to shore. All Gavin can think about is getting back to the hotel and seeing Carrie. When he gets back he is surprised when Carrie isn’t planning the same thing. She has decided to not tell Gavin about Alizee. While they are arguing she gets a call from Pierre and then goes to meet him. Gavin has no idea what just happened and decides to follow her. He sees her meeting with Pierre and starts to make his own assumptions just like Carrie did. He was planning on following Pierre but he got a phone call from Vincent. So he goes and meets him. When he gets there he learns some interesting things. He is then worried for Carrie and calls her. She doesn’t answer at first but finally does and comes to meet him. When she gets there they have a bit of a riff at first but then things get cleared up. They are both now completely honest with what they know and are on the same page. Will they be able to help each other? Will Alizee find a way to come between Carrie and Gavin?
I really liked this book/series. It seems like they just can’t seem to get a break in this series. They are constantly coming up against something. There seem to be a lot of misunderstandings between them whether because of Carrie’s insecurity or things they don’t tell the other one to protect them. Once they are finally honest with each other it is much better. They realize how much better it is and they are. I didn’t except the Vincent twist at all. I didn’t like Alizee right from the start. I felt she was hiding something. Either illegal activities or she wanted Gavin. They have a wonderful ending though and I would love to read more about them. Once Gavin begins showing and teaching her about his interests in the bedroom they become much closer and have a better relationship. There were twists that I didn’t expect and I loved how Carrie took matters into to own hands when she needed to. The characters are wonderful and this book/series was great. I love M.S. Parker and her stories.

This is the 3rd book in the French Connection Series and should be read in order
Just when Carrie thought things between Gavin and her were getting back on track, she finds him in a compromising position with Alizee. Being told by the journalist Pierre that she must not confront Gavin about it or it could put innocent lives in danger. All Carrie wants is the lies to stop but she finds herself caught in the lies too. Will Carrie and Gavin be able to get past the lies and find each other, or will this be the final thing that breaks them apart.

Carrie has had faith in Gavin and his love for her but every time they try to get back where they were someone gets in the way. She has remained strong, when many women would break. Seeing the man she loves kissing another woman is hard to swallow but since she has had to deal with many things that most women haven’t, Carrie knows Gavin wouldn’t cheat on her. The problem is that she wants to confront him but she can’t. Putting other people’s lives in danger isn’t something she wants to do. She has worked too hard not to help them.
Gavin has done everything that he could to protect Carrie. He wants nothing but the best for her but every time he tries someone gets in his way. He’ll stop at nothing to be the man Carrie deserves. When Alizee brought him to her yacht under false pretenses and when she gave him the ultimatum he chose to jump ship, because he loves Carrie more than anything. His Alpha male side shows when he realizes that he needs to change how thing are in order to save Carrie.
This is the last installment of the Club Prive series and it kept me on the edge of my seat. Gavin choosing to swim to shore instead of taking Alizee up on her offer was priceless. I loved the fact that Gavin would rather swim than betray Carrie. The love these to have for each gets tested several times while they are in France and it only ends up making them a stronger couple. Carrie’s faith in Gavin is amazing considering every time she thinks they are getting back on track someone undermines them but they are never successful. Gavin and Carrie are the couple everyone wants to be and I will miss reading about them. M. S. Parker wrote an amazing series and I fell in love with Carrie and Gavin. If you’re looking for a hot, sexy series to fall in love with than get all 8 volumes of the series and spend falling in love with this couple!!!

Carrie and Gavin are back! This is now a year later after all the crazy mess with Howard and the sex trafficking. Their lives have become very complex and stressful. Their love is still there, but priorities have shifted and they can both feel how they are not connecting at the same level as before.
Gavin is renovating the Club, trying to put behind memories of the sex club it used to be. This is costing him lots of money, both because of the renovations and because the membership fees will not be the same for a dance club. If things don't change soon, Carrie and him will have to talk about downsizing their expenses, or they will end up in monetary hell.
Carrie is still working pro bono pursuing sex traffickers and helping bring justice to the girls being caught in their web. Gavin pays all her expenses and she is not aware of how strapped he is about money. She is working long hours pursuing justice and has forgotten that Gavin should be her first priority.
One gleam of hope is the new deal Gavin is about to make in the French Riviera. Opening up a sex club there with a new partner may solve all the monetary problems. Carrie and Gavin just have to communicate and stop dancing around their issues and just be honest and trust each other.
This is a thriller/romance story that is HOT and full of the realities that affect couples in their every day life. The fact that they are not communicating and are keeping things from each other only makes matters worse. Insecurities, doubt, and confrontations cannot be avoided. They are stepping out of their comfort zones into a new untenable situation. The sex trade is not unique to the US. It is so predominant in Cannes, the both will need to keep their eyes and ears open so they don't end up making mistakes again. Their lives may be at stake!
All three books in this series are out now. I sat down last night and read all three into the early morning hours. People, believe me, this is a fast paced roller coaster ride you will not want to miss!

Oh, so we're left with Carrie seeing Gavin and Alizee kissing at the end of Vol. II. I'm like Carrie is going to kick his tail from there to kingdom come!!! For real! First he had the model chick hanging all over him at the party and he ignored Carrie. Then he left the party early - only for her to find him later at the end kissing this chick.
Now I will say, there's some making up in between and it's pretty sweet. Gavin - though he makes some terrible choices - really loves Carrie. He's never given her a reason to doubt him other than the events on this trip to the South of France.
Goodness - so Carrie is working with a guy who is investigating Alizee for sex trafficking. It's totally a mess. Gavin sees Carrie with the guy and just assumes she's not happy with him and vows to make sure she's not cheating. Hello, pot - meet kettle!
Though they had lots, and I do mean LOTS, of drama in this final episode. I kinda knew where the ending was headed. There's a couple of shocking moments and edge of your seat drama. I loved this series and these characters. I'm kind of sad to see them completed. Maybe M.S. Parker will help us out with some more Carrie and Gavin down the road. These two are highly charged together and both are super smart characters. They have great interaction when they're communicating. Definitely characters you'd want to be friends with if they were real.

Heck yeah !! This serial series wrapped up better than I expected !! Yes we have an HEA and thank goodness because these two really deserve some peace and happiness !! I was shocked at a few things and pleasantly surprised and so drawn in !! Of course I was hanging on every word to start because the way part 2 ended with that darn kiss , Gavin is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. I truly love Carrie and Gavin , they have great personalities and I love their passion for their jobs and love !! Again there is some melt your panties action going on but also a little bit of danger and suspense !! It may blow your mind or maybe , unlike me , you will figure it all out ahead of time !!
Carrie is of course devastated and pissed about what she sees on the boat , what will she do ?? Pierre is adamant that she should not confront Gavin but Carrie is very unsure of what she wants. Of course this leads us to some drama but then they realize there is bigger fish to fry and get on the same page and start putting the puzzle pieces together !! Not everyone is who they seem to be and this was shock number 1 for me !! Exciting though of course !! The sex traffic ring may be exposed and dealt with quickly but it is still exciting to read about and wonder who is who and what will go down. I loved that little piece of the story. OMG! I think M.S. Parker is trying to kill me with these books! Of course she doesn’t leave us hanging for long and Club Privé: French Connection Vol. III takes us right back into the action not missing one beat from the previous installment.
This latest and last installment was jam packed! The secrets, deceit, action, drama and of course the hot and heavy steamy sex scenes just abound in this volume. Carrie is devastated when she sees Gavin kissing Alizee. As she is trying to decide what to do about it Pierre, her journalist friend says she can’t let on to Gavin that she has seen anything. If she does it will jeopardize the sex trafficking case they are building and put innocent lives at stake. Of course this puts Carrie on edge and at war between her heart and her head. When she and Gavin see each other she lashes out at him setting in motion a series events that will take us on a wild ride. Hold on tight because the rest of this book had twists and turns that I truly did not see coming.
I truly enjoyed this book and the series as a whole. I loved Carrie and Gavin and was very happy with the conclusion of their story. The side characters in French Connection were intriguing and kept me on my toes. I cannot say that I particularly like them, but they added dimension to the story. This is a quick and enjoyable read and something that I would recommend without a second thought.

I really liked this book. I have loved Gavin and Carrie from the very beginning of the Club Prive series. These two have been through so much and conquered so much, I was rooting for them all the way to the end. I just knew they would pull through! I am hoping for glimpses of them in other future books. This author is an instant one click for me and will continue to be.
This is the final installment for Gavin and Carrie. As she continues her search and investigation with Pierre, Carrie makes startling discoveries. Now that Carrie has witnessed Gavin's deception, she doesnt know what to do. Just when she thinks she has figured it all out, she understands that not everything is always as it seems. Gavin and Carrie are not only fighting for their relationship but maybe their lives too. Will Gavin and Carrie be able to find a happy ending once and for all?
Gavin... Gavin... Gavin...! I wanted to strangle him a couple of times but I will tell you that not everything is as it appears to the naked eye. And this book did an amazing job at showing up the issues a couple face after their happy ending. And these two... Gavin and Carrie still have the undeniably chemistry and spark that burns brighter than ever!

I really liked this book. I have loved Gavin and Carrie from the very beginning of the Club Prive series. These two have been through so much and conquered so much, I was rooting for them all the way to the end. I just knew they would pull through! I am hoping for glimpses of them in other future books. This author is an instant one click for me and will continue to be.
This is the final installment for Gavin and Carrie. As she continues her search and investigation with Pierre, Carrie makes startling discoveries. Now that Carrie has witnessed Gavin's deception, she doesnt know what to do. Just when she thinks she has figured it all out, she understands that not everything is always as it seems. Gavin and Carrie are not only fighting for their relationship but maybe their lives too. Will Gavin and Carrie be able to find a happy ending once and for all?

In the third and final chapter to Carrie and Gavin's whirl-wind romantic/business trip to Cannes, the author pretty much brings us back to the beginning of the end of her first series about these two. Carrie is once again at the hands of a human sex trafficker and needs to figure out how to not only save herself (again), but to find Gavin and get the hell out of dodge.
I have to say while this was a good story romance wise, M.S. Parker had started in with her series being about a young lawyer (Carrie) trying to find a way to bring human trafficking to its knees and end it once and for all, but either Ms. Parker decided that a story about a lawyer doing her best to prevent this from happening, or she decided to settle on the romance aspect of the story instead, because the trafficking part was wrapped up very quickly, and a little too neatly.
I also had issue with this being labeled an erotic novel. There is a saying among writers- show, not tell. Well, Ms. Parker did a lot of telling, and not enough showing. At least, that's my opinion.
Gavin and Carrie had their HEA and now it's on to the next. I'm interested to see what other stories Ms. Parker can weave, and if they are better, or worse, than this.

When Vol. 2 ended Gavin was seen in a pretty compromising position with Alizee. Pierre tells Carrie that she must forget that she what she saw, and if she tells Gavin that all his hard work would basically go down the drain. Carrie is completely torn in this situation and decides to take Pierre’s advice. Things aren’t always as they seem in France. Can Carrie and Gavin work through their issues and finally have their happily ever after?

M.S. Parker just keeps on giving us more and more and that makes this reader VERY HAPPY!!!
When we left Vol. II with Gavin on the boat with Alizee, I would have never even begun to imagine what was in store for us in book III. It blew me away, from the way Carrie handles Pierre, her journalist friend, and how she tries to figure out how to handle her first move with Gavin after learning more secrets. There is such a web of deceit it is hard to untangle the web to find the truth, but in the end we finally do…
I have loved every minute of this series. It has HOT & STEAMY SEX, LOVE, INTRIGUE, DECIET, AND SOMETHING NEW AND UNEXPECTED AROUND EACH TURN.
From minute to minute it is hard to determine who is the telling the truth and who is lying through their teeth. It made for a very confusing but exhilarating ride that I didn’t want to end. I am very glad to see that there will be more to come with characters from this book in Chasing Perfection 4 that takes place right after French Connection ends…

This book picks up where volume two left with Gavin and Carrie in the French Rivera. This book is fast
paced and is hard to put down. There are many twists, turns, and some angst that will have you on the
edge of your seat to see what will happen next with Gavin, Carrie, the two new club partners, and the
dashing journalist.
When you think you have the story and the characters all figured out then BAM there is a twist or turn.
When M.S.Parker brings her twist and turns she will have you second guessing what you thought was
going to happen. The characters are not who they seem to be and have interior motives of why they are
in the French Rivera.
I recommend this book especially if you have followed the amazing love story of Gavin and Carrie. This is
a sexy quick read that will have you wanting more of this story and the characters.

I was gifted this book for an honest review. What a shocking twister we see the conclusion of Gavin and Carrie's story. Carrie struggles with how to deal with the sight of another woman's arms around Gavin. Could there really be an explanation for what she saw? With innocent lives at stake, she tries to mask the hurt. Helping Pierre is now her top priority.
Gavin could care less if he lost his business deal. Carrie is his main concern. When Vincent lets him in on the secrets he's been keeping, he fear Carrie's life may be in jeopardy. This is a short read. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those first:

I love both Carrie and Gavin. You can feel the love they both feel for each other. The steam is still there but is it enough to keep them together? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book, this series, and this author.

Their trip to Cannes has been great in rekindling their D/s relationship in the bedroom but they are still not communicating very well.
Alizee Padovani is going to bring everything to the surface. Carrie has to trust Gavin to know what needs to be done and Gavin is going to have to communicate in order to keep Carrie’s trust. Will Carrie and Gavin finally get to the right place in their relationship? They need to learn trust and communication, will they be able to reach this happy place?
The way this story comes to an end is fantastic. It’s suspenseful and entertaining but sweet and wonderful too! If you have not read this series, please do!!!! It’s awesome!

This is the third and final installment of the French Connection series. It is not a stand-alone story. Carrie and Gavin have finally worked through their problems, and everything seems to be going great when Carrie witnesses Gavin in another woman’s embrace. Her and her friend Pierre, have been working on a story undercover and had followed the woman Alizee to a rendez vous. Little did she know the appointment Alizee had was with Carrie’s boyfriend. He had said he had a business meeting but neglected to mention it was with the beautiful French woman. Pierre convinces to keep the truth of what they witnessed from Gavin for fear Alizee will find out she is being investigated. But when the lies and deceit begin to pile up from people you trusted, you realize maybe what you witnessed was not what you thought you saw after all.
Good story with a very satisfying conclusion. 4 stars

Club Privé: French Connection Vol. III (Club Privé: French Connection #3) by M.S. Parker **SERIES REVIEW - NO SPOILERS **What can I say? M.S. Parker doesn't disappoint yet again.I haven't the Club Prive books prior to the French Connection series so I don't know Carrie and Gavin's complete back story, but that didn't matter I was still able to read and enjoy this series. (I do recommend reading the first series though, as I have since gone back and did)Vol 3 is the perfect end to the Carrie and Gavin's story. Going to France was supposed to make them closer but in fact it has the opposite effect. There is so much lying and decite that no wonder a wedge is coming between them.It all comes to a head and you don't want miss out on the ending to their story.Another brilliant 5 star series!

Great conclusion to the Club Prive Series. My suggestion is to read Club Prive, Chasing Perfection and Club Prive French Connection in this order. Because there is a small spoiler at the end if you did not read Chasing Perfection. As for the this book it was fun, with hot steamy sex, with a mix of mystery and suspense thrown in. Gavin and Carrie have lost a little spark to their relationship will this trip get it back on pull them further apart. Can they learn to trust each other and communicate what they want and need. M.S. Parker wrote a fun series that keep me turning the pages. Even with it being fun, she did use the serious problem of human trafficking for the bases of the series. Hopefully it will get people talking about it. In my opinion it is worth reading and thinking about the problem.

Ms parker you have done it again an outstanding end to carrie and gavins story...as carrie deals with seeing gavin kisding another women gavin is rejecting that women but carrie does not know that and carrie has a strange feeling that pierre the reporter is not really what he says he is but how does he fit in to the story and is he really a reporter. Gavin is told some things by his new business partner that lead him to think carrie is in danger..what will happen will carrie learn to trust gavin and will they with vincent be able to bring down Alize for what she really does.... Would love one more book with a wedding and a baby or two... A read you will not be disappointed in loved it from start to finish

We come to the end of the French Connection series but hopefully we'll see more of Gavin & Carrie in the future.
Their love story has had it's ups and downs and the last book is no different, trust is a major player in this final volume and Carrie comes through with flying colors after a slight hiccup.
Gavin showed himself to be a real man, putting Carrie above all else making him even hotter in my book!!
Carrie and Gavin's story is still hot as hell, with a few bumps along the way and characters I wanted to throat punch, but in the end I got what I hoped for.
I hope to see more of Carrie and Gavin at some point, I'd love a peek at their future.
