Tired of walking on eggshells? Exhausted from overthinking every damn thing you say, wear, or post because some dusty cousin, jealous coworker, or internet rando might have a problem with it?
Good.
Welcome to The Fu*k Them Theory, the boundary-breaking, side-splitting parody of The Let Them Theory that says what we’re all thinking—but with way more swearing, sarcasm, and unapologetic sass. In this no-holds-barred manifesto, author Reid Mockery, Ph.D. (Doctor of Problem People Studies), serves up a firestorm of tough love, hilarious real-life stories, and absolutely savage advice for dealing with the walking disasters in your life.
Family guilt trips? Fu*k Them.
Toxic coworkers? Fu*k Them!
Social media stress? You guessed it.
Say goodbye to people-pleasing, over-explaining, and chronic “sorry syndrome.” The Fu*k Them Theory hands you the lighter and dares you to torch your insecurities—while cackling all the way to the “Block” button. Side effects may include newfound swagger, instant stress relief, and an irresistible urge to finally cut ties with your ex.
Reid Mockery is Amazon's number one selling parody author. Consistently funny, he has successfully mocked Fifty Shades, Divergent and now John Green's The Fault In Our Stars. His work has earned a loyal following and he rewards his readers with fast moving parodies, that are short, cheap and guaranteed to brighten your day. Granted, it takes a special gift to be this stupid, but Reid seems to have it by the boatload.
Reid doesn't exactly look like Austin Powers, but he often channels his inner spirit. This image captures what Reid is feeling, so let's leave it at that.
When Reid Mockery makes parodic fun of a book, it is the greatest compliment that book can ever obtain.
He doesn't drink bottled water often. But, when he does, it's from Walmart.
Reid Mockery is so sexy, women buy and read his books by the thousands, just so they can run their fingers down the screen and feel his thick E ink. His words are like poetry, if poetry were entertaining.
He lives an anonymous life in the state of Tennessee searching for the next genre of books to skewer with his wicked sense of humor. Although he has written other books, he is best known for this best-selling parodies that make fun of the best selling books. This ground-breaking work has catapulted Mockery to the top of the Amazon sales charts to which Reid responds, "Yeah, Baby. Yeah!"
i liked it at first but then i felt like it was chat gbt talking to me like with how sarcastic the writing was idk. like its how chat gbt is so cringe. But i like the idea of the book and its super quick read and funny sometimes
I took this book on holiday with me, and I couldn't think of a better time when to apply this theory. I am body conscious, but you know, Fu*k them if they don't like what they see. And Fu*k me for -almost- allowing myself to not wear that bikini because I was worried what others may think. I laughed all the way through and even quoted some parts to my partner when he saw me giggling. Everyone needs some brutal honesty, and that's exactly what we got reading this book. I will be recommending this to all my family and friends, it's such an easy read and a fairly quick one too. I've already applied this theory multiple times whilst on holiday, I can't wait to continue applying it when I'm home! Thank you for this life changing view!
What a great read, this book had me giggling, nodding in agreement and generally agreeing with the concept.
As I have gotten older I have generally stopped giving a f**k about what people think about me. I do think it comes with age and once you get past 40 it comes to most of us.
Don’t like me, don’t care. I just now need to adapt some of this theory and the theory of this book to the aspects of my life.
Such a great read, I would recommend to anyone who likes the idea of loosening up in life a little.
Anyone who reads the bestseller lists, knows the The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. This book actually says what people want to say. It's hilarious, but it is packed with good advice for stress, relationships, and family. I get that some people will have trouble with the language. That's ok. But, that didn't stop Mark Manson selling a zillion copies of The Subtle Art... My copy is highlighted with all kinds of quotes. Yours will be too. Two Thumbs Up
A brilliant non-fiction guidance on getting the most out of yourself
This simple down to earth book is enriched with lots of amazing guidance on everyday situations. Yes, we are not everybody cup of tea a d we can't get them to change their perception personally. The solution is to sod them and move on. But this book is well written and enjoyable and highly recommended. Best wishes Sean
A must read after Mel Robbin’s The Let Them Theory. Takes Mel’s advice to another level through Reid’s interpretation of life and dealing with others. Having now read both books, you either feel enlightened or educated on how to appreciate your self being.
A parody of Mel Robbins ‘Let Them Theory’ and it is CHAOTIC in the best way! I felt like the author was screaming erratically through the pages at me and shaking me violently to wake me the fu*k uk and I absolutely loved that 😂😂
It’s not fancy and it’s catered to anyone and everyone! Read it and enjoy the screaming haha!
I didn’t love this entire book but the message of the book really was hammered home and made a difference. It allowed me to reflect on the fact that taking a moment, a deep breathe, pausing for a few seconds and internally responding with fuck them, is a good enough response. You don’t always have to say something back, just let people be.
A true reflection of f.. them that starts with f.. me
I love the book; unapologetically honest reflection , only for the barber ones who are ready to self analyse without excuses and bravely look into the eye of the monster that called social expectations:)
I love Mel Robbins book “Let Them” and when this came up on my reading list, I thought it was worth a read. Take it somewhat tongue-in-cheek, and what you disagree with, remember the title of the book!
This was a good book, it helped me a lot. However, this is not so much a parody as is someone probably wanting to write their own interpretation of the Let Them Theory with a similar titles as the subtle art without getting sued.
Really enjoyed reading this, refreshing and practical - yes attention grabbing but once you start reading you may recognise some of your own behaviours - well recommended
