Everyone’s always said I’m a troublemaker. So it’s not exactly shocking when I fall for my boss, his boss… and the guy I put a curse on in high school.
This summer, I’m working as a paralegal at a fancy law firm, trying to keep my head down.
Then Evan—charming, ambitious, definitely too-hot-to-be-a-lawyer—asks me to be his fake girlfriend to help him make partner. I say yes. Obviously.
I also meet Christopher: senior partner, older, bossy, and practically married to his tailored suits. Turns out he has a soft spot for brats… and for sharing women—with Evan.
Things are getting very interesting.
And then Tucker walks in.
My high school nemesis. The guy I cursed out (and cursed for real) during my goth phase. He’s back—and now a ripped, repentant construction foreman who wants to make peace. And maybe more.
I don’t stand a chance. These three men are charming, dominant, and ridiculously into me. They’re breaking down my walls one steamy encounter at a time.
This summer fling is supposed to end in July. I’m supposed to leave, keep my heart locked down, and not fall in love with three men who are completely, totally, inappropriately perfect for me.
Oops.
Three Bossy Boyfriends is a standalone MMFM why choose rom-com full of chaos, curses, and chemistry. Expect fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, workplace hijinks, and enough steam to melt your Kindle.
Big time meh. Tucker felt forced, there was very little character development for him and we never got a really good explanation for the curse in high school. We never found out if Evan got a new job or if Finley passed the bar. Also we don’t want to read books that have an unfinished HEA. Like “we are going to work on it and see where it goes” is a terrible way to end a book.
Tropes 💜 MMFM (with MM) 🩵 Small Town Workplace Romance 🩷 Fake Dating 💙 Enemies & Friends to Lovers
Main Characters Christopher; bossy, controlling, demanding, in love with Evan Evan; submissive, agreeable, loving, sweet, fun, in love with Christopher Tucker; rugged, rough, less talkative, hate fuck, in love with Finley Finley; chaos, independent, moody
Out of every FMC ever written in which I have read, I am so close to being a Finley in every fricking way and that literally hurt reading myself on paper and thinking, shit that's me. Uuuuuuuggghhhhhhhhhhhh.
Three bossy boyfriends follows Finley, and the last thing she expected was to return back to her home town but she needed a reset. Finley lands herself her job as a paralegal in her father’s firm but this is only temporary until she can retake the bar exam. It is while she is working at this firm that she meets Evan and Christopher.
Now these two have their own predicament- Evan is trying to make partner of the firm but in which Christopher suggests he finds a fake girlfriend in which it’ll will boost his chances of making partner. Evan is drawn to Finley and he asks her to be his fake girlfriend but in these types of romances we know it’s never truly fake. This may also be a good time to mention that Christopher is in love with Evan and you can definitely say the feelings are mutual. Christopher is also drawn to Finley but he is mostly involved when Evan is present. Yes it does get a bit confusing.
We also add Tucker to that mix and it’s a whole lot of chaos. Tucker and Finley have been at odds with one another since high school but oh how the tables have turned and he falls head over heels for her. Honestly the dislike chemistry between these two is absolutely impeccable and Finley really does make the man work for it😂
We follow these four and how the navigate the dynamics of their relationship. Two characters in an MM relationship, meanwhile Tucker only wants Finley but overall all three are connected through her. Finley sometimes feels quite guilty that she’s attracted to 3 people at a time but her brother Ford (Three Grumpy Groomsmen) definitely helps her on this matter as he has experience with his own relationship.
Finley was an entertaining character, she’s feisty and hardworking and I connected with her very well.
Overall I loved this book- my only critique is I would have liked a little epilogue of these four in the future but I’ll let my imagination do the talking on that front.
Thank you to the author agency who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭
Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC! Emma Foxx never misses—truly one of my favorite why choose authors! I loved the setup for these characters’ relationships: it turns fake dating on its head by suggesting a fake relationship so that two other people can date (trust me, it makes sense), only for the three of them to get together, AND another plus one for our main girl Finley. I thought all of these characters had really strong arcs both individually and with their romantic partners, and all showing up really earnestly to make the relationships work after the teensiest third-act breakup. I also love an interconnected standalone, so it was really fun to see characters from the other Honeysuckle Harbor books (as well as mentions of another series, the Chicago Racketeers) crop up. Plenty of love and spice to go around. Why choose girlies won’t want to miss this.
Emma Foxx never disappoints! This book have me kicking my feet and giggling 🤭
This book follows, Finley, Evan, Christopher and Tucker. Right off the bat there was chemistry between the characters. The communication between the characters was amazing! While there was miscommunication it was done so well and not overly dramatic!
It felt like like this was the perfect book to get me out of my slump, it was why choose MMFM, forced proximity, ⚔️ crossing, age gap, fake dating, workplace romance.
I didn’t like how the book ended, I mean I really enjoyed the book and I ate it up in one day but I felt like the book ended abruptly. No epilogue nothing. But overall a really good read and really cute!
This is definitely a page turner, and I had a hard time putting this down! So plan your time...
Being back in her hometown was not the plan for Finley. Unfortunately, she needs a re-set, and going home to regroup lands her working as a paralegal in her father's law firm. Her brother, Ford, (who found his forever with Ivy in "My Three Grumpy Groomsmen") and her sisters Frannie and Fiona are there for her but she has always felt misunderstood in her small town. Granted, she has always stood out from others on purpose, but this time, it catches the eyes of two lawyers she works with! But things aren't always what they seem, and she agrees to "fake date" Evan. Only, the connection between them is so organic it quickly turns into more. Complicating matters is Evan's feelings for Christopher, and things get a bit confusing.
And then there's Tucker. Whew! Tucker, who she has known since High School, and has had a annoyance with ever since. Unfortunately the "hate" chemistry between them isn't really hate at all, and now that time has past, he's anxious to connect with Finley. Obviously, Finley is living her best life, with Christopher, Evan and now Tucker in the mix, and it's a challenge to figure out the dynamics between all four people. 2 in an MM relationship, but connected with Finley, and Tucker who is only interested in Finley. I really enjoyed the way she gives something of herself differently to each of the guys, and the focus they each have for her emotional well being and pleasure. Her sassy nature and quick wit kept me very entertained, while the steamy scenes and willingness to communicate and cooperate kept me engrossed in the pages.
The HEA was what I wanted for them, I suggest you read this one, and Ivy's story too. I look forward to reading the next new release from this author. Fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of this book (thank you), I happily leave my review.
This book was pure fun from start to finish. Drama, romance, and just the right amount of chaos kept things moving in the best way. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts, and the banter had me grinning through half the book. Perfect when you want something light, spicy, and totally addictive.
Another super fun, smutty read by this author. Liked the reluctance and progress pace if RH. Sad it’s the last currently in the series but how many groups can one small town really have?!
After missing her timeslot to take the bar exam, paralegal Finley has been forced to return from NYC to her hometown of Honeysuckle Harbor outside of Charleston. Her father installs her at the prestigious law firm where he’s a managing but retired partner. Finley, however, is determined that she’s out of there as soon as she sits for the bar in several months. When a very sexy associate attorney asks her out as cover for his not quite consummated relationship with a senior partner, her life becomes more interesting. When both men express an interest in her, she’s all in but keeping with her self-imposed end date. An intimate kiss between the men causes the younger attorney to be dismissed, and Finley feels responsible.
Further complicating matters, an old high school nemesis of Finley’s shows up and turns the triangulated tangle into a quadrangle.
The banter and steam was 100% on point, the relationship particulars were very interesting and while not simple in any way, they were believable and I was rooting for them all the whole way.
I was fortunate to have received an advance reader copy from The Author Agency, and I’m pleased to share my honest and enthusiastic review.
Troublemaker? Me? Always. So imagine my delight when Emma Foxx served up a heroine who not only owns her chaos but manages to juggle three men while doing it. Three. At once. Honestly, that is multitasking of Olympic standard.
Let’s break this summer circus down.
First we have Evan. Too ambitious, too charming, too hot to be a lawyer and apparently too desperate for a promotion to keep his personal life simple. His solution? A fake girlfriend. Our heroine says yes. Naturally.
Next comes Christopher. Senior partner, older, intimidating in that expensive tailored suits way… until you realise he has a soft spot for brats and absolutely no problem sharing. File that under workplace fantasies you did not know you needed.
And then, when the chaos is already at full tilt, in walks Tucker. High school nemesis. Goth phase curse victim. Now reformed, muscled up, and carrying a grudge smile combination that could melt concrete. He wants peace and possibly a lot more. She does not stand a chance.
Foxx is not here to write a quiet office romance. She is here to unleash full-blown chaos. Fake dating? Tick. Enemies to lovers? Tick. Workplace hijinks? Double tick. The banter is sharp, the heat is plentiful, and there are so many oops moments you will be muttering “girl, same” at your Kindle.
And beneath the comedy and the steam there is genuine heart. These men do not just bulldoze her walls, they knock them down, rebuild them, and probably string up fairy lights while they are at it. Bottom line: Three Bossy Boyfriends is messy, magical, and hot enough to singe your eyebrows. If you like your romcoms with curses, chaos, and multiple happily ever afters on the menu, this one will absolutely hit the spot.
This book was “meh”. I would have rather read a book about just Christopher and Evan or just Tucker and Finley. It felt like the quad relationship was shoehorned into the story. Finley was kinda not a great character and I felt like some of her backstory was just ignored. Tucker felt like an after thought. Sometimes it felt like Christopher was being a jerk just for being a jerk. Also as an actual paralegal in the real world, no place I have ever worked is that formal. Maybe that’s an East Coast thing (I’m in the Seattle area). It was nice that the characters did communicate and made attempts to define their rules and such for their relationship. Overall, it just wasn’t for me.
@EmmaFoxx is writing some of the best MMFM books out there and does not get enough love, and I have been saying this for quite some time! On top of it all, this writing duo has hit their stride with his Honeysuckle Harbor series. It is hands down their best series because of the unique characters they have written. Overall they have given us now seven MFMM or MMFM combinations, and in doing that, all seven have given us a different dynamic, which is not easy to do. It really makes each grouping stand out in their own unique way which I love.
There is something special about Finley, Tucker, Evan and Christopher. I absolutely loved how this foursome came together and the vulnerability that it required to figure out what they wanted and how they were going to achieve it. Finley is more than a black cat heroine, and I loved her character arc. We have known her vaguely from the start of the Honeysuckle Harbor series since she is Ford’s sister and triplets with Fiona and Frannie, and I love how we got cameos from our other Honeysuckle Harbor favorites (Ford, Ivy, Harrison and Liam along with Greyson, Caroline, James and Cas). I love how it is acknowledged that not all groupings are created equal, and that it’s a benefit to the people inside of them that each is unique. In the end, I just fell hard for all four – Finley, for her ability to beat to her own drum; to Tucker, who is someone from high school who turns a revenge connection into something more; to Evan, who is the sweet and steadfast glue that holds all the connections together with his friendship and love, and Christopher, who is the perfect boss of them all. I love that we have a group of lawyers who are intellectual in nature but learn true vulnerability.
The bonus epilogue and the spicy short are really what bring the ending together for me. At first I was worried that the ending was too abrupt and felt incomplete, but once you read both of those additional storylines (with the spicy short being one year after the end of the book), I love how it all came together. That spicy short was – whew – possibly one of the highlights of the whole book for me. Now, I want another story, but about that year in between. My favorite part of the Pucking One Night Stand series (Dani, Nathan, Michael and Crew) is that we get all the little moments of how they built their life together over the course of four books. I would love more stories of Finley, Tucker, Evan and Christopher and how they are choosing to build their lives – we got references to hiking and fishing outings, different pairings going out and building frindships, etc – but I am greedy and I want more. I would take any stories, any insight, because I love them so, so much.
@EmmaFoxx, please keep writing so I can keep reading! Ah!

My first Emma Foxx 🦊 book and I’ll be going back to read her backlog. This is so sweet, cute, spicy, long enough to pack a punch, but short enough for a perfect rainy Sunday read.
We have a whole list of yummy tropes to enjoy. I mean it is a why choose romance, so why not give all the delish tropes.
🟣Workplace romance 🟣 Friends to lovers 🟣 Childhood enemies to lovers 🟣 Age gap 🟣 Fake dating 🟣 Small town romance 🟣 HEA 🟣 Why Choose
Finley is our sexy, bratty, intelligent, independent, with a soft center FMC that is back home after missing out on the bar exam. She’s back home, living with her sisters (they’re all triplets), working as a paralegal in her newly retired father’s law firm until she can take the bar exam again in July and move back to NYC. She’s feeling like a failure and was always the odd man out. The black sheep of the family. Without getting into the nitty gritty, she ends up connecting with 2 of the lawyers at her firm (Christopher and Evan), and an old high school nemesis (Tucker)that she had cursed in high school. She was known as the weird, creepy, goth girl. And embraced that title, creating a barrier between her and her family.
They all fall for each other. Christopher and Evan having already been having serious feelings for each other. They realize she is the missing piece. Her and Tucker bury the hatchet (literally) and start to realize they have feelings for each other as well. She tries to keep a distance, thinking that she’s leaving after she passes the bar and won’t see them again. All 3 of the guys think differently. All 3 work hard to get behind the high emotional walls that Finley has erected around her heart and show her how they truly feel. That they wouldn’t be happy without her.
There is some back and forth with the details of a polycule being worked out. Tucker being the one having the most trouble with going from single to being in a foursome. MMFM. They fight but work it out together and realize they can do this with patience and communication.
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the banter, the character development, the laughs, the few tears, and definitely the spice. I loved the supporting characters and sure hope they are included in previous or future books.
The one and only thing I would have really liked to see is what happened 1-3 years later. Did they all end up living together eventually? Did Tucker work through his concerns of having a family together? I appreciate that Emma Foxx talked about real world problems. Everything wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows. You had multiple brains and emotions involved. BUT we all love a HEA, and while we got it, I just wanted more lol. Can you blame me?
What happens when you have a story starring a beautiful harlot, an older bi-sexual dominant, a young bi-sexual bottom and a hunky blue collar guy getting together? You get this mess of a book.
Let's talk about the setting: The author confuses Charleston with San Francisco in terms of social tolerance for unconventional, polyamory affairs. South Carolina is still stuck in the 1950's when it comes to situations like that. Maybe she should have picked a tolerant place like Portland, Oregon, which is a popular setting for romance novels.
Now let's talk about the plot:
The initial, 3-way, bi-sexual affair that was formed between a senior law partner, an associate and a pretty paralegal would most likely have gotten all three of them tossed out on the street in real life (although the submissive associate did get fired after making out with the senior partner in the office. The former associate simply moved in with senior partner afterwards, with no further repercussions). The implausibly of this situation early in the story was annoying.
The addition of a hunky construction company owner into the mix just muddied up the plot and seemed to be the author's attempt to appeal to the 'manly man' formula established by other RH authors.
The development of the FMC was full of inconsistencies: There were critical bits of background left out, like what happened to her crazy goth persona after she went to college, then later when she went to law school? As a result, I never could understand her character's motivations outside of her tenancy to be a harlot.
As for the spice scenes, they were chaotic, mechanical and ultimately, boring. Yes, all the necessary parts and pieces were there, but the way the author assembled them just didn't work.
This slog of a story finally came to a welcome end, but strangely, the HEA consisted of all four of the MC's crammed into a shower stall trying to have sex. The author then tossed out a pasted-on epilogue. If that wasn't enough, the author added some additional chapters that must have been edited out of an earlier draft of her manuscript.
Oh, one more thing: The hunky construction guy taking the FMC to a dive bar for a date to engage in ax throwing? If that's not romantic, I don't know what is...:)
Finley has returned to her hometown to work as a paralegal while she waits to take the bar. Working at the firm her dad helped created is definitely nepotism, but she doesn't care if it keeps her afloat. It also happens to include a couple of really hot lawyers that catch her eye, and an old nemesis from high school that's turned into a total heartthrob. However, an unexpected interruption in her work day sets her up for a fake dating scenario that starts to feel a little bit too real.
*****
This one starts out SO good! I loved how mouthy Finley is, and that she walks to the beat of her own drum, while always feeling like she's too much. Evan is thoughtful, genuine and cautious, Christian is commanding and honestly a little patronizing and controlling (although that isn't his intent), and Tucker is a big old softie and protective sweetheart. Their dynamics together were interesting and sweet but also a struggle at times, as I wondered how on earth all of these very different people were meant to fit together as a whole when they seemed so individualistic.
The setup between Tucker, Evan and Christian was so different from what I expected, as I tend to see why-choose romances follow a predicable path to forming a live-in polycule. It kept me guessing as the book progressed as to whether we'd get a resolution as to the different forms of relationships all four of them had with each other, and what that looked like for the future. I loved that we got more info into what different poly relationships could look like as we saw one of the leads really struggle with the idea of what their future with additional men involved means. It kept me on my toes throughout the novel and I could absolutely empathize with them.
To be completely honest, despite how this ended I feel like there's questions as to how they'll fully end up that haven't been answered other than that they'll take it slow and follow their hearts. I'm really looking forward to other books in the series where we can see how they settle into their relationships and who lives where!

Thank you to The Author Agency for the advanced reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book. Emma Foxx does a really good job in crafting these characters and making me want more.
Christopher, Evan and Tucker. Some similar, some different. What they have in common- they all want Finley. This book tells the story how all four navigate their way thru their relationship. And not all of it is easy. But Finley at least has her family to help her figure out how she wants to go thru life.
Here are the pros- I love the spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Foxx definitely hooks us with the teasing and the taking. lol
I love the town of Honeysuckle Harbor. The author does a great job of crafting the details in each book that I can picture all the places like scenes in a movie.
I love how Finley’s friends and family are so open to all sorts of relationships. Love is love!!!!
And I love Finley!!!! She is one of my fave FMC in Foxx’s books. She is strong, smart. And a bit like me doesn’t like to be told what to do. And will be a bit contrary to make herself stand out.
Here are the cons- Between chapter 8 and 12 the timelines are a bit messy. The continuity is all over the placed. We go from monthly dinner at Finley’s parents where they discuss what clothes she was wearing when Evan was undressing her ( linen pants with a drawstring and form fitting top). The next chapter (9) with Tucker- its end of day- he comments on her pencil skirt and blouse being the same as yesterday and she said she did t have time to go home and change after her sleepover at Evan’s. In chapter 11- Christopher talks about a morning meeting and he drags Evan to his office after and they discuss activities with Finley the night before. In chapter 12 - Finley is walking back with Tucker from the coffee shop. Continuing from chapter 9. It was so confusing trying to keep up where we were. I work in costumes for TV, my job is to be in charge of clothing continuity. And when you bring up clothing detail- don’t mess it up!!!! I also felt that the book just ended abruptly. I was reading on my Kindle and was surprised when I turned the page and the book was over.
Anytime Emma Foxx writes a book- I will be in line to grab a copy and read it.
I loved the new relationship dynamic, that eventually came about between these four people. It was different and something I hadn't read yet in a why choose romance. The story was fresh, fun, steamy, and I was totally there for it!!
Finley Anderson is a total firecracker. She marches to the beat of her own drum and doesn’t mind going against the tide and I loved everything about her!! ❤️ While she knows shes the black sheep among her family, she isn’t naive about it,and wears her uniqueness proudly, it still stings when people compare her to her "perfect" twin sisters. She loves her family and loves her sisters, so that isn't the problem in her life, Finley is the unique gem sitting among all the other beautiful gems in a jewelry store and the right person, or persons, haven't discovered her beauty yet.
Evan is the first to truly see her and make her feel seen. He's a young lawyer at the firm where she's a current paralegal. Talk about a job that she detests by not using her unique voice. 😂 It is that boldness that makes her stand out and Evan is instantly smitten. However, the plan isn't to fall for the sassy paralegal, it's to fake date her because Evan is actually in love with his boss, Christopher. Talk about a tangled web...or is it 😏
Christopher is one of the partners in the firm and dating a subordinate is frowned upon. Having Evan date Finley is the perfect cover, until things get even more messy. Oh, and let's not forget Tucker, Finley's high school nemesis. The guy she put a curse on over a decade ago. The guy who, when anything bad happens in his life he calls it a Finley. 😂 The tension between these two is enough to melt the clothes right off of them, if Finley's sharp witted tongue didn't cut them off first.
I loved this book and I only wanted more. Truly, my only complaint is this book could have been longer. Is that a complaint...maybe, but I loved everyone and I wanted to bask in all of their relationships, individually, together as a poly, as couples, everything...just more.❤️
✨ Book Review: Three Bossy Boyfriends by Emma Foxx ✨
This book was such a fun, spicy ride! Finley thinks she’s in for a quiet summer working as a paralegal… but suddenly she’s juggling not one, not two, but three very different men who all want her attention. 👀
What I loved about Finley is that she isn’t perfect, but she’s real. She’s witty, a little guarded, and not easily impressed. Her walls are high. Finley doesn’t just fall into these relationships—she grows through them.
"The brattier you are toward him at the office, the more he'll want to tame you after hours"
💼 Evan, the ambitious lawyer who ropes her into a fake dating scheme. 👔 Christopher, the older, polished senior partner who has no business wanting his employee. 🔨 Tucker, her old high school nemesis who broke her heart back in her goth-girl days.
What I loved most about this book wasn’t just the tropes (though you’ll find fake dating, enemies to lovers, workplace tension, and a why-choose romance all woven together). It was how each relationship revealed a different side of Finley . With Evan, we see her playful spark. With Christopher, her need for trust and safety. With Tucker, the ache of forgiveness and second chances. 💕
It’s why-choose chaos in the BEST way. The banter is sharp, the chemistry is 🔥, and the mix of tropes kept me turning the pages. Fake dating gave us all the “oh no, real feelings” moments, enemies-to-lovers added delicious tension, and the bossy boss dynamic? Say less. 😏
This isn’t a slow burn—it’s steamy, trope-packed, and full of drama. If you’re in the mood for something bold, bossy, and bingeable, Emma Foxx delivers!
✨ Tropes inside: 👉 Workplace romance 👉 Enemies to lovers 👉 Friends to lovers 👉 Fake dating 👉 Why choose 👉 Age Gap 👉 MMFM
Would I recommend? If you’re looking for a hot, quick read that doesn’t take itself too seriously and leans HARD into the tropes, then yes! Add this one to your TBR ASAP.
I think this was the best Emma Foxx book I have read yet, and I have read a fair few of them.
Finley, Evan and Christopher all meet because they all work for the same law firm. Finley, a sassy FMC who is the family black sheep, has moved home to wait until she can take the Bar, while waiting her father has helped her get a job at his former law firm, which she both loves and hates (she hates being a nepo baby) but she is putting in the time until she can make her own way, so to speak. One thing I loved about her is that she is not afraid to go toe-to-toe with anyone regardless of who they are.
Evan, a staff lawyer hoping to make partner. He is the go-to guy for all perceived "difficult" clients; he is the "difficult client whisperer." He is also completely infatuated with Christopher, but because he is a professional, he hasn't acted on these feelings. SHe sparks up a friendship with Finley and feelings that lay dormant for years are awakened through this friendship. Finley and Evan are soulmates.
Christopher, senior partner. He has been infatuated with Evan for 2 years when the novel opens, but he hasn't acted on it because he wants to make sure Evan succeeds. Christopher is very much the rule follower in his work life but very much the "daddy" in his night life. What he doesn't expect is for his infatuation to become infatuated with someone else and for him to become infatuated as well.
Tucker is the outlier. He and Finley have known each other since high school, when he insulted her and she cursed him. It isn't until 10 years later that they run into each other again, when he is seeking counsel and she is the paralegal working on the case. The sexual tension between these two bounds right off the page. Tucker is the one who really sees her and I think a lot of that has to do with their shared past.
Each one of these MCs brings something that FInley needs to make her feel complete and they work together so seamlessly.
Another thing that I loved about this book was that in the end they all weren't living in one giant house. I loved that aspect of this WC. That it wasn't the expectation that because they are in love with the same woman, they all have to live under the same roof, and the way Emma addresses this was very well done.
I look forward to seeing what happens next!
Thank you Emma Foxx and The Author Agency for the ARC
I absolutely loved this book! It was a page turner from the start. If you love a why choose, with some yummy cinnamon roll book boyfriends, this is your next read! The spice was perfect and the plot was good. I wish we would have gotten an epilogue that was my only criticism. Will definitely be reading more of Emma Foxx!

Expect fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, workplace hijinks, and enough steam to melt your Kindle
Thank you Emma Foxx for my ARC of Three Bossy Boyfriends in exchange for this honest review! 3.5/5⭐️ 4/5 🌶️ What to Expect: -Why Choose -MMFM -Workplace Romance -Age Gap -Small Town -Fake Dating -Enemies to Lovers The writing duo that is Emma Fox never disappoints with a good why choose romance. I enjoyed these characters and I appreciate how the "same plot" of the MMFM romance can feel so drastically different with each new couple of characters. Finley is independent and fierce and admittedly a little weird (I mean who put curses on people) but makes sure that she is always in control of her own life. That is until she starts working with Christopher and Evan and runs into long past enemy Tucker. The three of them have such a strange dynamic, but they all have the same goal in mind; making Finley as happy and satisfied as possible. All four main characters are learning new aspects of themselves and what is truly important to them. They each go some type of self discovery during the process and learn how to be stronger together while still remaining their own people. The dynamic between the characters is great, and Honeysuckle Harbor is quickly becoming the hot spot for MMFM couples to form and thrive. While I did enjoy these characters the overall plot was not my favorite of Emma Foxx's work, that being said I will still be reading every spicy who choose word written! Favorite Quotes: "I will give you what ever you need tonight Finley. Or any night....I don't know everything that's going through that gorgeous head of yours, but I'm here for you." "I'm wildly attracted to all three of them. Is that possible? Is that a problem? Does that say bad things about me?" "Loving her will be an adventure. I think I've always known that." "They not only see me as I am, but they see the flaws that I try to cover up with bravado. And they want me anyway."
This was my first story by this author and she did a fantastic job with the why choose story. I enjoyed the characters especially Finley. She was so fiesty, sassy, and just a boss babe. She knew who she was and was not afraid to let her true self show. As much as she stood out from her sisters, she never backed down. She was the weird, quirky, and outspoken triplet. She gained a reputation around town for being a pain. Life circumstances forced her to come back to their small town of Honeysuckle Harbor. She was not thrilled to be back because people never let her live down all the mistakes and outspokeness that she was known for. She gets a job at her dads law firm. She is introduced to Christopher and Evan. She has an instant connection with Evan. They are like minded in a lot of ways. Evan is also in a secret relationship with Evan. They need Finley and are both attracted to her. She offers her help and that leads to a lot of great story development. They all take part in a case with her former high school enemy. He has always had a thing for Finley, but was too popular to allow people to see him with the weird triplet. This causes her to "curse" him. When they meet again they are both still attracted to each other. This causes some tension as well since she is also involved with two other men. They all have to learn to navigate this new dynamic. I really enjoyed the story and all the tension and fun moments. My only complaint is I wanted more. I want to see what their relationship looks like a little down the road. Did they finally get it all worked out? Did they have a family? I hope maybe their is another book or even a book about one of the other characters with sneak peaks into their future lives.
Emma Foxx turns up the heat again with Three Bossy Boyfriends, a standalone MMFM romance set in and around The charming town of Honeysuckle Harbor. Fans of her previous books will enjoy cameos from familiar characters, but new readers can jump right in—no prior reading required.
This story is a trope-lover's dream, delivering small-town vibes, workplace romance, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, age gap, fake dating, and a sizzling “why choose” dynamic—all in one!
Finley Anderson returns home for the summer to work as a paralegal. Known for being the “other” triplet in her family she has a reputation for being a bit of a troublemaker with a knack for stirring the pot, but she’s also driven, principled and intelligent. Finley soon finds herself entangled with not just one but three irresistible men:
* Christopher, the older, steady, and commanding lawyer who embodies the perfect age-gap hero. * Evan, the fun-loving associate aiming for partner, full of charm and heart. * Tucker, a rugged construction foreman and former classmate with a shared past and zero tolerance for Finley putting up walls.
How can she choose and does she really need to? Each man brings something different to the table and their chemistry with Finley is off the charts. As the group navigates love, mistakes, and personal growth, the story remains heartfelt, romantic, and full of emotional depth. The communication, forgiveness and genuine connection make this HEA deeply satisfying.
This book is spicy with a capital S—and yet still manages to be sweet and emotionally rich. You’ll laugh, swoon, and probably need a cold drink. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! 5 Stars!!

Finley is sexy, sharp, bratty, and fiercely independent—with a soft center she keeps well-guarded. After missing the bar exam, she’s back in her hometown, living with her triplet sisters and working as a paralegal in her retired father’s law firm. She’s feeling like the black sheep, still haunted by her high school reputation as the weird, goth girl who once cursed her nemesis and staged plenty of protests.
Now? Her nemesis Tucker turns up at the firm seeking legal help—bringing Christopher and Evan onto the case. The two lawyers, already quietly falling for each other, soon realize Finley might be the missing piece neither of them knew they needed. As sparks fly, old wounds heal, and Finley tries to keep her distance, thinking she’ll leave after retaking the bar. But the guys have other plans. All three work to break down her walls and show her she belongs—with them.
The polycule dynamic (MMFM) is messy, tender, and full of real-world complications—especially for Tucker, who struggles most with the shift. But through fights, growth, and honest communication, they find their rhythm.
I loved the banter, the spice, the emotional depth, and the supporting cast. My only wish? A glimpse into their future—did they all move in together? Did Tucker find peace with building a family? Emma Foxx doesn’t shy away from complexity, and while we got our HEA, I wouldn’t mind a little more.
ARC Review Three Bossy Boyfriends by Emma Foxx👨🏻⚖️💘👨🏻⚖️👩🏻💼👷🏻♂️📚
This was just fantastic. I’ve read a lot of why-choose romances, after all it’s my favorite trope, but this one felt different in the best way. The way the relationships developed between all four characters was so organic and believable that by the end I wasn’t just rooting for the romance—I was rooting for the family they were building together. It was everything I needed.
Christopher’s gentle, steady sweetness made him even more lovable, while Finley’s strength and passion gave the story so much fire. Tucker brought this confident, protective energy that made their connection feel unshakable, and Evan, with all his emotions and vulnerability, gave the love story so much soul. Together, they were messy, complicated, and just so perfect.
What I loved the most was how real their love felt. It wasn’t just about passion—though there’s a bunch of that—it was about trust, growth, and the way four very different people could come together and make something beautiful.
Emma Foxx always delivers, but this one? This one felt special.

“The brattier you are toward him at the office, the more he’ll want to tame you after hours.”
I think I’m in love. And instead of panic and butterflies, it feels like a great big, warm hug. And that’s probably exactly how love should feel.
This is a fun, quick weekend read if you don't mind the mixture of some details. The characters are cute, and their chemistry is fantastic. Finley has a connection with each of her guys and they in turn bring something unique to the table that Finley needs. Her family liked to think of her as a mess when in reality she is bold and needed more. The connection between them takes a little to make sense but when they realize how it works, it was fun to see them all unite. It's the right amount of spice and fun for a good weekend read.
I'm not one to bash a book and I don't plan to start now. My review is more from the frustration I felt while reading and the story kept jumping. It felt as though chapters were randomly written and then later brought together without focus on the finer details.
An example is two of the characters are walking to the bar when they spot the third MMC at the bar with others they know. Then two pages later, that third MMC walks into the bar to tell them hello. It just was silly mistakes that happened often and would drop me out of the story. Worse was when Finley is having coffee with Tucker at the end of the day, but the next chapter Christopher and Evan are caught in a romantic kiss in the morning with Finley having been in the office but returns with Tucker. It seriously took me a minute to remember what day and what was actually supposed to be happening. I hate when I'm kicked out of a story because the details were being ignored and forgotten.
ARC Review: 4 ⭐️ Three Bossy Boyfriends is the third book in the Honeysuckle Harbor series featuring Christopher Davis, Evan Young, Tucker Hastings & Finley Anderson.
Finley is back home in Honeysuckle Harbor working as a paralegal for her father’s law firm while she waits to take the Bar exam. She meets Christoper & Evan working there.
Evan is trying to get a partnership in the firm and Christopher tells him it might help him if he was in a committed relationship or married. The only problem is that the 2 of them have been secretly seeing one another and they could both get in trouble at work since Christoper is his superior. Christopher suggests he date Finley, so Evan asks her out.
Finley is used to being the ‘weird one’ and tells Evan he might be better off dating one of her triplets but Evan is attracted to her so they proceed. Christopher & Evan both wonder what it could be like to have Finley be with both of them and they propose it to her.
Tucker & Finley went to school together and Tucker was kinda mean to her over the years. Now he hires the firm to help him with a law suit and is reunited with Finley. He can’t believe how much she’s changed over the years and he to is attracted to her.
Will Finley be able to manage the 3 men that all are infatuated with her or will she forced to choose and settle for only 1 or 2?
This book was entertaining and I really enjoyed the characters! The spice was spicing and the chemistry between the characters was fantastic! I liked seeing some of the previous books characters as well!
Three Bossy Boyfriends by Emma Foxx is the kind of steamy, chaotic, laugh-out-loud romance that grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go until you’re blushing and grinning like a fool.
This MMFM workplace rom-com delivers everything it promises: fake dating that spirals deliciously out of control, office drama, enemies-to-lovers with a cursed high school nemesis turned irresistible foreman, and bosses who share (yes, really) and know exactly how to push the heroine’s buttons.
Finley is a self-proclaimed troublemaker trying to keep her head down as a paralegal, but when Evan, her charming boss, ropes her into a fake relationship to help him make partner, things escalate fast. Add in Christopher, the older, suit-clad senior partner with a dominant streak, and Tucker, the tattooed ex-nemesis with the need to right his past wrongs and a body built for sin… you’ve got a summer romance that’s anything but simple.
Foxx’s writing is witty, fast-paced, and unapologetically spicy. The chemistry between all four characters is off the charts, and the emotional beats sneak up on you between the steamy scenes and workplace hijinks. It’s a wild ride, but one that’s surprisingly heartfelt.
If you love why choose romances with strong personalities, sizzling tension, and a heroine who owns her desires, Three Bossy Boyfriends will absolutely melt your Kindle.
A huge thank you to Emma Foxx and TAA for the early copy!
Three Bossy Boyfriends is one of my first non dark romance books I have read in awhile and it didn’t disappoint. This book follows Evan, Christopher, Tucker and Finley as they navigate their lives separately( and together)! Right off the bat I loved all the men and wanted to know more about them. Finley, she outspoken and knows what she wants. She is also a bit immature and just fights back for no reason(sometimes). All I kept thinking is I can’t wait for one of these bossy boyfriends( or all of them) to put her in her place. Each one of these guys just wants one thing: Finley. But our good sis can’t get out of her own way to let it happen. I love each man, I have no favorite this time. Evan is sweet and kind, Christopher is dominant and caring, and Tucker is amazing and just what a girl needs! Each man provides Finley with something she needs to make her feel complete, loved and safe. When miss girl finally got out her own way(and head) all the things just fell into place( of course with effective communication). She learned that she is just herself, no matter what anyone else thinks, which makes me so happy! Let me tell y’all about the spice, top notch. The group scenes were my favorite. I even learned something new. I have never heard a V relationship until today. This was an amazing read and I loved it so much.
