Lily came to snowy Utah to escape her problems. One season, and then she’d go home.
Now, she’s fallen in love with snowboard instructing—and with her five roommates, Matty, Liam, Antoine, Seth and Eddie—and she knows that one season won’t be enough.
But the guys have their own issues to face. Antoine has an ultimatum hanging over his head. Seth is quietly battling his inner demons and self-doubt. Eddie is terrified of his own feelings. Matty is struggling to come to terms with his own sexuality, as well as his desire to call Lily his wife. And Liam isn’t sure who he’s more jealous of—Lily, or Antoine.
Meanwhile, an unexpected danger hangs over all of them, threatening to bring everything they have crashing down.

The Catalog: MMMFMM developing polyamory, last book in a trilogy, MCs that work at a winter sports resort (skiing and snowboarding), queer representation (demisexual, asexual, and bisexual), forced proximity, low angst, found family, cum pants cunnilingus, group scenes
Synopsis: When Lily moved to Utah it was meant to be an escape, and a chance to do something for herself. She never could have predicted that she would fall in love with not one, but five men, and now she doesn’t know where to go from here. She wants them for forever, but between the drama with Antoine’s family and an external danger to their family, everything is too precarious for promises.
Thoughts: What a perfectly sweet ending to such a beautiful and gritty series! I have said from the beginning of the series that what really makes Endless Winter special in a sea of polyamorous romance, is that you can see each and every struggle and hurdle these characters have to overcome in order to have the family they want. It feels like such a realistic portrayal of the difficulties in having this kind of relationship. You get to see their polycule form from the ground up, and it is so sweet, and so emotional!
After the soft cliffy of book two, I was so nervous for these characters and how they’d handle the news of Antoine’s family drama—especially in regard to the sweetest boi, Matty. Elisha, of course, navigated these characters through everything in such an adorable and satisfying way! There was love, declarations, epiphanies, and incredibly hawt group bonding time 😉 I really adore all of the MCs, but Matty really is my favorite boi and I really loved the way his story, in particular, ended.
I’m sad to see the end of these sweet babies and their love story, but I’m so so incredibly happy for their HEA as well!
As a whole, I really loved this series and because I kept holding onto that feeling for the majority of this book I’m keeping up with a five star rating. The “real life struggles” that are part of this book, both in life as in a developing polycule, were wonderful to read about and I just love this family as a whole. Some parts of this book were really touching as in how they decide to look after each other, even when things are tough. They show what a relationship is all about, through the good and the bad, and it was a refreshing thing to read about.
However, somewhere around 75% in I started to feel like the story started to get rushed. As a result, the epilogue didn’t really work for me. I still feel like the storyline for some of these characters isn’t wrapped up, and that’s especially the case for Seth for me. So even though I liked the majority of this book, it didn’t end in a satisfying way for me. The big plot points get their answers, but there were some underlying issues in the relationship building that still feel unresolved. And in this case, I’m struggling with it. But as a whole, this series was a breath of fresh air I still greatly enjoyed.
Elisha Kemp has done it again. This series was absolutely fantastic and I will come back to it for years to come.
Matty, Liam, Antoine, Seth and Eddie are all such wonderful characters. Unlike in most RH/Poly/Why Choose books, you can't choose just one as a favourite. I love Antoine for his sweetness, his shyness, his French. I love Liam for his stubborn ways, his grumpiness, his teasing.I love Matty for his sweetness, his blushing and his undying love. I love Seth for his utter Perfection, how he treats Lily, pushing her to be better, how he takes care of everyone and is always brokering peace, as well as his anger. I love Eddie for his playfulness, his shyness and his lack of giving a sh,t.
Lily was perfection. she was strong when she needed to be, weak when she could be and unwilling to NOT love.
I do wish Eddie and Seth got more time in the series, as Liam, Antoine and Matty got most of the page time. Primarily Eddie got shafted. I want to hear more about him, see him with Lily more and have more laughs.
I wanted more overall. Not that the series is lacking, but because I want to read MORE of these awesome characters.
I will forever read anything that has the name Elisha Kemp on it. If you're after some sweet, loving guys that have amazing backstories and traumas, and are sometimes vicious, give this series or Dying Gods a read.
Ahhhh! I can’t believe the conclusion to Lily and the guys’ story is here! 😭 I’ve loved this little family from the very beginning and I can’t thank Elisha Kemp enough for allowing me to ARC read this series!
I have completely fallen in love with Lily, Seth, Matty, Antoine, Liam, and Eddie! They are all such deep characters, each with their own backstory, personalities, quirks, and even baggage. Watching them come together as a family to overcome their problems together as a whole is such a beautiful ride and gives a whole new meaning to “found family”.
Something that I’ve really loved throughout this entire trilogy is that the complexities and communication needs of a polyamorous relationship aren’t sugar coated. When it comes to physical relationships, jealousy, and long-term plans, Elisha puts her characters through it and makes the story feel SO REAL. The conversations are on page, and the topics are discussed. It’s just another way that Elisha shows how much she cares about her characters and doing their stories justice.
Awwww how I missed these characters and I can’t believe this was the end of the series! I wanted the book to keep going and going, I love them so much!
Lily and her guys finally get the HEA but it doesn’t come without some tough moments, second-guessing, and life-altering decisions that have them really working through making a poly relationship work.
I love what each of the guys bring to the relationship and their chemistry with each other, not just Lily and one of the guys, but to the guys to each other. Their group activities are saucy and I always love some sword crossing moments (especially from unexpected pairings).
This was such a great read and I love how Elisha writes and it’s a feel good read that just gives you the warm and fuzzies, some tears to mix in, and just can make your heart swell. Maybe I can convince you to give us an extended epilogue one day because I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet!
This is the last book in the Endless Winter series by Elisha Kemp. I really liked the series. It was very refreshing to see snowboard centered books as I don't feel there are very many of those around, especially queers ones. There were definitely some things I did not see coming in Avalanche. My heart almost stopped one time I was so shocked. All the questions left from book 2 were answered. We get to see what happens with Antoine's grandfather's will, Lily's training for her snowboard instructor license in New Zealand, etc. What I love most about these characters is how well they communicate with each other. This relationship is new to all of them and there is no annoying miscommunication that leads to conflicts which I really appreciated. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I felt the ending was maybe a bit rushed? I don't know, everything was answered but I would have liked more details. It was still very good though.
Honestly? I feel very disappointed to say that this book disappointed me, at least a little bit… -where’s Eddie’s and Seth portion of interaction with Lily? (The ratio felt off) -i would’ve liked to hear more of the ceremony at the end -are they going to NZ? Did she pass? -what about Tom? -where they going to live? -i would’ve liked more scenes that interacted with the sport
For lacking a lot of info (there could’ve easily been another book), this still was an enjoyable read. It took a while for this last one to be released, which makes the disappointment with the overall result a bit more stingy.
Likes: -the author takes us on a pretty realistic tour of how to navigate polyamory, with all the insecurities, jealousy, old patterns, and the pro’s too -the developing relationship between L, M, A&L. -how the ‘Tom situation’ is introduced in this last book -Liam at the hospital -Matty’s breaking point and the way it came together after
This was a nice wrap up to the series. While I thought that it might be set in New Zealand, the group is still in Utah. There are quite a few struggles to be faced in this part of their journey, but we also get to see more relationship development and a bit of character development. As with the previous 2, there’s quite a bit of “coming of age” sort of struggles (even though they’re slightly older) to work through, but they come together nicely as a found family to support one another. It did feel a bit rushed, due to a few reasons, but it was nice to join Lily and her guys again.
This series was a ride, and I'm honestly sad to see it end. The characters were relatable. The storyline had the perfect balance of softness and conflict. Of character growth along the way. Of taking a group of people with different backgrounds and preferences and creating something uniquely theirs. Something beautiful.
The third book to me was like a cozy romance with a dash of spice and a shocking twist that caught me off guard. But one that leads you to an ending allowing you to say goodbye to the characters you had grown to love throughout the previous books.
I love this polyamorous relationship and everything that has happened in this series.
Seth, Antoine, Liam, Matty, and Eddie are the absolute dream team. They each love in their own way and it's so satisfying to feel their feels through the pages. Our FMC, Lily, is one lucky girl who falls hard for 5 guys and they grow SO much in Avalanche.
I absolutely devoured this book in 2 nights and I'm so happy with the ending of their love story.
This is book 3 and the books must be read in order. I was patiently waiting on this book and I am so happy I got to read the story. Falling in love with five men was not the plan but now it is here but love never is smooth sailing and that is very true here. The threats, the drama? It is real. I love the end to the trilogy and what a ride it has been. Love the realistic way of describing the relationship which is rather unique in the bookworld. It makes this a must read for me.
3.5 ⭐ I am sad this series has come to an end. I definitely feel like I need another book, I was left with a lot of questions and just wanting more.
I enjoyed this series. I didn't love it, but still to iked it and had a good time. It just felt immature at times, which comes with the characters all being early 20s. But at times it was a little cringe.
Snowboard town Why choose Forced Proximity A tasteful amount of spice
As always, this was a delightfully written story from Elisha Kemp! The romance was so cozy and gave me all of the feels, I was so invested in all of the characters and their relationships. This was a really satisfying conclusion to the series and I can't wait to see what Elisha will write next!
Lily & the guys have been through their fair share of ups and downs when it comes to their jobs but also with their relationships. Learning new things about themselves & how they handle it all with new people in the mix.
I was so excited to see how Antoine’s side story with the inheritance played out & I absolutely loved how it may have been just him & Lily but they didn’t leave the others out, especially Matty.
They had a little scare near the end with Seth but they rallied around one another & really supported him. I also really enjoyed the fact that they had their own ceremony to acknowledge everyone in the relationship.
This was such a good series with a while array of characters & I was so hooked on it from the very beginning.
