Dysan Jamison wakes up every morning at the same point in his dream… right before he kisses her. Who is this woman? They currently are or have been, in an intimate relationship because the bi-racial newborn he is holding looks almost exactly like him. Neither Laytoria James nor their fathers are for the union. He must battle through the prejudices of their families and friends while convincing her that he is the man destined to be her soul mate. She’s convinced that her father, the General, will never accept Dysan. She spends the first few months hiding their relationship from everyone except Trent and his wife, Vanetta. After she concedes and falls head over heels in love with Dysan, another issue arises, and her past threatens to annihilate their future. Laytoria and Dysan find themselves trapped in the ugly world of reality. Sparks fly—deployment separates—hearts are broken, and temptation is all around. Fully developed novel, but full of sadness and despair.
The author does an amazing job of pulling you into the emotions of her characters, but her characters have to experience excessive heartaches. I will complete this series, but after this, I don't have the mental capacity to experience this level of torment. I read for pleasure, and her storylines are anything but pleasant. It took me almost three months to read thru this because I have to read the story in digestible doses; whereas, I'm typically done with a book of this length in three days or less.

Awesome uplifting book! Dysan believe that God has showed him his wife through a dream. Dysan is able to see his wife’s face in his dreams. This book is so awesome; it talks about love, friends, forgiveness and interracial relationships. On to the next book!!!

Awesome and great book to read. The author always ties the title of the book to the story line. Also, the prayers in the book are powerful.

Legitimate Issues

Legitimate Issues was a story about a boy, a girl, a dream and following God's plan.

Tories and Dysan were a wonderful couple who trusted in the Lord, but got discouraged in their walk and did somethings that was outside of God's plan for them.

Awesome story. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.
