Dose of you: A Doctor's surprise surrogate, forced proximity, small town, romantic comedy

Rate this book
#1 Pediatrician Never fall in love with your patient’s single mother.
I broke that rule the moment Tessa and her three kids crashed into my life—stubborn, exhausted, messy bun, and zero idea of what she did to my self-control.

They needed a place to stay. I had spare rooms. It was supposed to be temporary.
Until I walked in on her naked, mid-hormone injection, in my guest bathroom—and everything changed.

Tessa was my surrogate.
The one I never expected to meet.
The one who still didn’t know she was carrying my baby.

Before I knew it, we were sharing a home, late-night laughs, and the kind of heat that refused to stay bottled up.
But the longer I waited to tell her, the more I risked losing her—for good.

"Dose of You" was like a warm hug - the perfect quick read that had me completely hooked! The FMC is an incredible mother who'll do anything for her kids, and her strength really shines throughout. The MMC was a sweet, caring man who just thought he was doing the right thing, and those precocious kids were absolutely adorable.

This book strikes the perfect balance between spicy romance and heartwarming sweetness. I nearly fell off my chair laughing during the "bible study" scene - pure comedy gold and something all parents can relate to!

Cute, well-written, and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a feel-good romance with great characters and plenty of laughs!

This was a really funny read for me and I'm giving it 5-stars because of the banter between Miles and Tessa and the banter between the kids and the adults had me laughing so hard I was almost crying while reading this book. I loved how sweet the ending was, and I could feel the anger from Tessa coming off the page and I was mad was for her too. I don't blame her for what she did, but leaving him to cool off was the best decision, but also her worst decision because and I could also feel how scared her kids were for her in the situation she put them in, but then Miles swoops in and reassures them even though their anxious and worried it does comfort the kids a little bit including when he has his nurse that worse with and trusts to watch her 3 kids so that they don't have to watch their mom be in pain and the doctors can do what they need to do and the kids can be kids with the nurse. I also really his nurse, too because kids have no filter and I love the interaction she had with Chris about microwaving jellybeans and Tessa's only reaction was that that checks out with Chris. I overall just loved Tessa and Miles relationship developing between the first encounter, to being in the same proximity of each other, and the situationship turning into something more. It was spicy in some scenes, but it was also funny. I've spoiled enough by trying to be as vague as possible.

I loved this Hilarious, Wild, Sweet Romance.
Hilarious, Sweet Surprise Romance- Tessa James has 3 kids under the age of ten. She's desperate, exhausted, running out of money and patience, and she was hilarious. Her first meeting with Dr. McDreamy (that would be Dr. Miles) she said, He looked so good that she wanted to climb him like a tree..lol ! And then was horrified when she realized she said that out loud ! Her two boys, Bennett and Chris were wild ones but her older daughter Ariana was the quieter, more studious almost "normal" one. Although she had some fun quirks too !
Tessa's equally funny, best friend, Maya is the one who goaded her by texting her to apply for the $60,00 reward for being a surrogate. Tessa had seen it at the doctor's appointment with the kids. Tessa is an honest woman, she has integrity. She balked at first not wanting to take money for helping someone else. But later thought what the heck at least it's something I'm good at. I loved her ! I laughed so much through this book !
I also felt so bad for the pediatrician who was so desperate for a child. He'd been disappointed so many times before ! Hang onto you hat doc you're in for some surprises !!!

Dose of You by Armani Noel is an absolute page-turner! From the very first chapter, I was hooked by the raw emotion and chemistry between the characters. Armani Noel has a way of writing that makes every moment feel vivid and real—romantic, intense, and heartfelt all at once.
The story balances passion and depth perfectly. I loved how the characters’ vulnerabilities were explored alongside their desires, making their journey feel authentic and relatable. The pacing is just right—there’s never a dull moment, and the tension keeps building in all the best ways.
This book isn’t just a romance; it’s an emotional ride that makes you laugh, cry, and root for love in every form. If you enjoy contemporary romance with sizzling chemistry and emotional depth, Dose of You should be at the top of your reading list!

I received an ARC copy and this is my honest review.

This story hooked me from the very first line! It’s the perfect blend of heart, heat, and heartfelt emotion. The tension between the pediatrician and Tessa is addictive—full of forbidden attraction, laugh-out-loud moments, and tender scenes that melt your heart. What I loved most was how the author captured the chaos of real life—kids, exhaustion, messy buns—and turned it into a love story that feels both swoony and relatable. The twist with the surrogacy kept me turning pages, and the slow-burn build had me rooting for them the entire way. If you love romance with heart, humor, and just the right amount of drama, this one’s an absolute must-read!

This book was great! Totally nailed motherhood moments at their finest!! Miles and Tessa were absolutely adorable. Definitely a rom-com...no spiciness. Tessa was just a worn out Mom trying to take care of her three kids the best she could. Miles was not looking for relationships anymore...instead he followed his dream of becoming a Dad. I giggled many times while reading and enjoyed it as a palate cleaner!!

I received a copy from the author and loved it. I loved each kids personality. From Ariana's seriousness, Chris's no sense of awareness and Bennett's cuteness. I enjoyed how Miles bonded with the kids. And thankfully the couple wasn't apart for long. Totally recommend reading this if you love cute kids with a caring man towards a single mom.

What a delightful read. The story and descriptions are so realistic. You live out the crazy life of a busy single mother of three just trying to survive. Just when you think it's getting predictable a surprise comes your way. Well done!
