I LOVED this! There was quite a lot going on in this little read...much more than just a cute Christmas story. It had a more emotion filled storyline than many full-sized novels I have read. The ending was WONDERFUL. I cried so good. Now to go back and read Carnal #1 and 2.

I think my Kindle has finally cooled down.....Wow. Who knew being a farmer was so hot???

In the latest story from Rotham's "Carnal" series, we meet up again with Joe, Brent, and AJ who are expecting a Christmas visit from their good friends Hake and Mandy. And..what a reunion it is! But soon there are surprises that threaten their relationships at a really fundamental level.

Rotham manages to pack a lot of story into this short Christmas novella! There's tons of blazing hot sex -- in all variations and combinations -- but there's also a lot of heart as well. These characters really care about each other, and so do you.

It maybe gets a little overdone and saccharine toward the end, but hey -- it's a Christmas story!

I stumbled onto this quite by accident recently. How did I miss this when it first came out? Carnal Compromise is my favorite ménage book (and trust me I read a good number of ménage stories!) and it was so nice visiting with them again for the holidays! Mandy and Hake are visiting Joe, Brent and AJ at their new house for the holidays. Mandy brings with her a surprise that throws all three for a loop, especially Joe who had been on unsteady ground for the last few months. I loved how this short read ended. It was so sweet and hopeful and magical. There is a free prequel to this story on the author's website which tells about what leads up to Mandy's surprise!

Joe was being such a pain in the ass with this one.
Well, he was a pain in the ass with the last one too.
I think I just don't like Joe.

The end went a little weird in the 'it's a wonderful life'/ 'ghost of christmas past' sort of way. But it wasn't unenjoyable.

All in all, I would continue to read if there were more.

I had been hoping that they were going to move down to live close to Hake and Mandy (if not with them), but with the way the book ended... that won't be happening.

Also, the pregnancy stuff... bit unrealistic unless she was MUCH MUCH further along. Like half way through the pregnancy.

Joe, A.J.,Brent, Hake and Mandy are back together in another steaming continuation of the Carnal Series. This could easily be enjoyed as a standalone, however I think you will have an even better understanding and attachment to the characters if you read the others in the series.

It's Christmas and Mandy & Hake are coming to visit Joe, A.J. and Brent's new home and are bringing their own Christmas Miracle surprise.

Robin Rotham weaves a heartwrenching emotional love story with enough heat to set you on fire!

I love this series by this author and I was thrilled to see more of Hake, Mandy, Brent, AJ and Joe. The story was sexy, emotional and super hot, hot, hot. All the characters had amazing chemistry with one another and the heat just blazed off the pages. The author did such a fantastic job with the scenes between Joe and his late son, Travis that it left me in tears. Wow! That was powerful and so emotional...well done! i loved this story and with the way the story ended, I'm so hoping to get more in the future.

Glad Joe was able to move beyond his past. Everything happens for a reason. Hoping they all get to live together as a family of five. wonder if there will be a book about Annabel and Colton Jay?

Recommendation: Should read the other books in the series first.

Short, satisfying end

While I sincerely hope that this isn't the eve of the carnal series I really can't see where another book could go. This was short, very short and almost devoid of the lengthy and numerous love scenes but still good with a cheerful ending. Worth it if you like the previous books

I love this series. I'm a new fan of Robin, but she definitely has me hooked. The story of Brent, AJ, Joe, Hake, and Mandy is unique, sexy, hot, and very loving. I loved how the story centered around Joe, and his self-discovery. Perfect steamy read! :-)

So upset by the ending, how did the last part answer the questions it raised, I DESERVED AN EPILOGUE!!!
