Perhaps one single question which has been asked more than any other is Is it possible to use these manifestation techniques to create more financial abundance in one’s life? Is it possible to manifest money without having to “earn” it? Join bestselling author and spiritual explorer Richard Dotts as he takes you on an astounding inner journey into the world of money, and explain why the answer is always a resounding Yes! Not many people know this, but Richard Dotts started on his spiritual journey only wanting to create a better life for himself and his loved ones. As he admits candidly, his primary goal when he started out was to have more money to do the things which he enjoys. But beyond his wildest imagination, what ensued was a 10-year period in which he struggled to make these Universal principles work for himself. After business failures, personal disappointments and walking away from these teachings several times in bitterness and anger, he finally gained an even deeper understanding about how these principles work at creating our reality. In Banned Money Secrets of the Hidden Rich, Richard explains how there is a group of individuals in our midst, coming from almost every walk of life, who have developed a special relationship with money. These are the individuals for whom money seems to flow easily at will, which has allowed them to live exceedingly creative and fulfilled lives unlimited by money. More surprisingly, Richard discovered that there is not a single common characteristic that unites the “hidden rich” except for their unique ability to focus intently on their desires to the exclusion of everything else. Some of the “hidden rich” are the most successful multi-millionaires and billionaires of our time, making immense contributions in almost every field. In this latest book, Richard explains how his personal struggles with manifesting money in his own life led him on a wonderful journey that taught him so much more. While most advocate a narrow-minded approach focused solely on using “outer-directed” actions / tricks / mind hacks to “attract” money (resulting in once-off results that only work sporadically)… Richard teaches using his own life examples that the only true, lasting source of abundance comes from behaving like one of the hidden rich, and from developing an extremely conducive inner state that allows financial abundance to easily flow into your life. Learn as Richard explains how he was able to completely let go of all his negative emotions of guilt and shame, fears and worries surrounding money… and how in the moment he did so, outer reality matched up to reflect his new inner understanding. If you are reading this book to find once-off money manifestation hacks and techniques, you’ll probably not find them here. But if you have tried everything else and are prepared to embark on an abundance journey from the inside out… if you are finally willing to do the “inner work” necessary just as Richard realized in the end… this close to 200-page book could be the last money manifestation book you’ll ever need.
The more you want it, the less likely you are to have it.
That's not exactly what the author says, but it is something I'd pondered in the past and this book made it make sense for me in a different way. When you desperately want something, let's say money, what you are really feeling inside is LACK. You want the money desperately, because you feel like you don't have the money. So obvious, yet so difficult to see. And more difficult even to see the implications of it.
Your inner state has an effect on your outside world. This has been said incessantly by most spiritual traditions and the New Age manifestation movement has cleverly picked up on this and prematurely concluded that all you need to do is "Think and grow rich". You just have to feel the feelings man, pretend you're rich, assume you're rich, and you'll be rich!
Well, not really. Most people try this and get absolutely no results. Myself included. I'd honestly given up on the whole manifestation side of spiritual pursuit. This book is different because the author does an amazing job at dispelling these common manifestation illusions and bringing a fresh new view on the whole Law of Attraction movement. It is more about doing the inner work than it is about trying to brainwash yourself. It is more important to understand your inner feelings about money, specially the nasty ones, than it is to visualize yourself in a yacht.
I specially liked the ideia of "voiding" all negative thought about money until you reach a neutral stance on money. And I also realized there were some other areas in my life where I'd benefit from "voiding" recurrent though patterns.
There's a lot of repetition in the book, as with most LOT books, but all in all I def recommend.
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in money. The title doesn't really mean what you may think it means. It doesn't talk about illegal stuff or immoral ways to make money. If you have read "The Secret" book and it's not working out for you, give this one a go. I think one book that could accompany this well is "The Power Of Now". The book has many chapters and the author goes through lots of scenarios and ideas to help you better understand the concept. He does mention his other books in this book so you may feel like he is promoting his other books however it is not required to read them. This book has practical steps and i think it needs to be read more than once. I enjoyed it. It is easy to follow and understand.
Absolute pile of personal opinions based on ideas of New Thought movement authors mixed with some random hardly useful ideas written in a disorderly way. How could anyone give this book a 5 star???
I read the first 3 chapters, skipped through the next few and then looked at each chapter's introduction. If it would be something remotely sensible or worthwhile I would scan the chapter yet each time to my disappointment.
Read Napoleon Hill - he's got all these ideas but in a 100% more constructive, practical and illustrative manner.
My feelings reading this book is not easy to describe. I loved it for what it made me realize. Inner feeling, outside joy and lightness, how to deal with anxiety and in particular with money anxiety. It's clearly a breakthrough for me about these topics. At the same time, it was hard for me to accept reading about so much negativity as I am already quite easy going about money. It stressed me more after reading some parts. Maybe I realized I'm not so light about money... And it's a bit repetitive but I guess that's for memorizing purposes.
This is what I learned from this book and it makes perfect sense. I like one other learning too that do something to make money if it feels natural for you and not because told you to do it. This brings more money and you’re doing it your way and you’ll know on the inside.
When I began reading this book I was very frustrated with my money situation. Now I found out not only that I am ok but coupling it with my religious upbringing made me realize that I am actually wealthy.
The book is very organized and easy to understand. The only negative experience for me was that there are a few grammatical errors that need to be corrected, but they did not take away from the overall knowledge the book has to offer.
Some really insightful takes regarding money mindset and how it is where your focus lies that matters. Loved the examples Mr Dotts gives. Thanks Nea for this recommendation. It was really helpful at attuning me to my inner belief.
This book has simplified the energy about money. It gives practical advice on how to work on your money mindset, which is very helpful. I love the way he broke down the money affirmation or rathe how to manifest money. Love this book will be reading it again.
I like how this author stated over and over in different ways to realign our thoughts on money but really for just about anything we want to manifest in our lives. We do have the power to change our own realities but for some the how escapes us. He also explains how we fail at manifesting our wants. So basically he takes this subject and turns it around and inside out until you have such a clear understanding of our thought process and he explains the steps to take to implement a better way of thinking to bring about the best outcome. He has a very positive and clear approach, a great read for which I would highly recommend
If you read Napoleon Hill's "Think and grow Rich" and got a lot out of it, then you will get even more information about money from this book. Even if you have not read the mentioned book, this book will change your belief in money!!
Richard Dotts writes books that build upon each other. I read this before but when I re-read it today I received its wisdom. I'm so grateful for these books.
A lot of what he says makes sense..but I would have liked to read stories from other people's experiences and or successes in addition to his own just to have a better comparison.
