The stories you are about to read celebrate love, sex and romance between men. They are a product of the M/M Romance Group's "Love’s Landscapes promotion sponsored by the Goodreads M/M Romance Group, and each anthology is published as a gift to you.
What Is Love’s Landscapes?
The Goodreads M/M Romance Group invited members to choose a photo and pen a letter asking for a short M/M romance story inspired by the image; authors from the group were then encouraged to select a letter and write an original tale. The result was an outpouring of creativity that shone a spotlight on the special bond between M/M romance writers and the people who love what they produce.
210 stories were submitted and have now been published as a seventeen volume set with five additional bonus volumes, titled Love’s Landscapes. This edition is Volume 9.
The stories in this collection may contain sexually explicit content and are intended for adult readers. They may contain content that is disagreeable or distressing to some readers. The M/M Romance Group strongly recommends that each reader review the General Information section before each story for story tags as well as for content warnings.

D.C. Williams is a writer who lives in Pennsylvania with one spouse and one child. I LOVE reader interaction. I used to add that I tended to "friend" people who added my books. I've taken that down because at this point I have people adding my books who I really haven't interacted with at all. The first few months I was doing this I had run into most people who added my books somewhere on Goodreads. Since this is no longer really true (and I've long since eased up on the friendvites accordingly) I'm taking this down because I don't want to discourage people who don't enjoy author interaction from reading my books. That said, I enjoy reader interaction as much as ever, and please, feel free to add me!
▪️Indian Summer by D.C. Williams ▪️Inhaling Smoke by Tia Fielding ★★★✩✩ ▪️It Takes Two by Alexa Milne ▪️It's You, Then Breathing by Vicktor Alexander ★★✩✩✩ ▪️Jaden's Honor by sassy lane ▪️Kiss of Truth by Ash Jay ▪️Knickers in a Twist by Ofelia Gränd ▪️Knight in Shining Cowboy Boots by Thianna D. ▪️Knight Owl by C. Dallas Floyd ▪️The Last Cannoli by Tali Spencer ★★★✩✩ 2.5 stars I loved the first half - it was sweet, and I loved watching Sean getting a fresh start and getting to know Joe. The second half though - it got kinda over-the-top. I mean, the reason Joe's mom hated that cannoli rival guy? It sounded like something you only see on TV shows, though the drama that ensued had a lighter feel, for which I'm eternally grateful. Sean fit too perfectly with the rest of Joe's family and I couldn't get a feel for Sean's and Joe's relationship at all. ▪️The Laws of Physics by Claire Davis ▪️The Layover by Megan Erickson ▪️The Lonely Drop by Vanessa North ★★★✩✩
It was a nice mix of stories with just 3 stories under 3 stars for me and one full on 5 stars story.
The 3 stories under 3 stars:
Kiss of Truth: Because I don't like kidnappings in stories, plus not very well thought through.
Jaden’s Honor: To me there was an error too big to ignore which spoiled the whole story for me, because this error changed the whole story Plus Lin is treated everywhere Like a fragile little maiden , which didn't sit well with me. Lastly, I just don't like pregnant MC's in stories.
The Laws of Physics: While I liked the story, the writing style threw me from the story a lot, which kept me from enjoying it fully.
"Jaden's Honor" by Sassy Lane was an awesome fantasy and the best m-preg story I've read yet. "The Last Cannoli" by Tali Spencer was a nice contemporary that was fun to read, and Vanessa North did a great job with the characters in "The Lonely Drop." Those three were my favorites, and it was a good anthology overall.
