In life, Ash Parker had not been afraid to tell it how it is, and it seemed that wasn’t going to change in death. Finding himself promoted to the next level, he has to hit the ground running as he guides the understandably frustrated newly deceased, learns to live a second life with his new flat-mates at Grey Feather apartments, and politely but firmly pushes back against the Powers That Be.
I have written for as long as I can remember, but I first reached the lofty heights of being published at the age of about 9 when my story about mice going to the moon to find cheese was pinned to the classroom wall! Since then I have shyly stored my many writings in a virtual folder.
My first publication, Grey Feather-- is not my first work, but it is the one I've absolutely fallen in love with, due to the wonderful characters and the world in which they live, and I hope you will also love them.
I don't have a particular genre, as you will see when I make my other writings available, but I do want to make a series out of Grey Feather.
Now, a little about me ...
As a newb author there's not much to tell, but I have always loved writing.
After leaving the West Midlands, I made my home in beautiful Cumbria, I'm self-employed and run a business with my husband.
Participating in NaNoWriMo one year, I realised I could fit in writing seriously with work and life, which was a lightbulb moment.
Afterlife fantasy and food come together in this reimagining of death and the afterlife. If you are pretty sure the perfect afterlife is a free buffet of the most scrumptious foods you’ve ever tasted, even if you have to navigate more than a bit of bureaucracy, this book is for you! Grey Feather navigates the heartbreak of death and grief like I do — with delicious food and cheeky humor!
