They’re three smoking hot firefighters. I’m their curvy neighbor… And their new nanny.
I’ve been crushing on Ben, Aaron, and Ryan since I moved in next door. They’re strong, brave, and way out of my league. I never thought they’d notice me—until they needed a nanny.
Now, I’m in their house every day, Baking treats and tucking their sweet little boy into bed. But it’s not just her looking at me like I belong. It’s all three of them.
Ben, the brooding giant who protects what’s his. Aaron, the cocky hero with a heart of gold. Ryan, the reckless flirt who makes my pulse race.
They make me feel wanted. Craved. Completely undone.
4⭐️ 2.5🌶️ 🔥Why Choose 🔥Forced Proximity 🔥Age Gap 🔥Nanny 🔥Curvy FMC 🔥Firefighters 🔥Mental Health Rep 🔥Multi First Person POV
Single Daddies Next Door is about a young woman starting over and trying to heal. She falls for her older neighbors, who just so happen to be firefighters and have an adorable 3yr old boy named Jake. Emily admits to her therapist that she feels like shes become a baking recluse, only leaving the house for the store and therapy. Then she spends her time baking and eating everything. Her therapist gives her a homework assignment to talk to people and expand her world. Emily decides she’ll take cookies to her very handsome neighbors across the street, but ends up pulling a cookie drop and dash. Things change quickly when Ben, Aaron, and Ryan have to ask Emily for help watching Jake when they’re called in for a major fire. She happily agrees and when they return that night she makes them cookies and she trauma dumps on them and they share some of their secrets. The guys know that that they won’t be able to stay away from her now. Ben, Aaron, and Ryan each have a distinct personalities. Jake was adorable and his scenes always brought a smile to my face. I loved the mental health rep and how Emily’s therapy sessions were portrayed was very relatable. I especially loved how the guys built her up and encouraged her. The spice was hot, these men know what they’re doing.
Thank you Hannah Ryder for the ARC.

A Few Favorite Quotes: “I got one taste of their presence, and now I crave it. Each of them calls to a different piece of me, and I find myself wanting more.”
This was a fun, fast read. Hannah always delivers on Alpha males, and this story is no exception. I enjoyed seeing the guys step up as a family for Jake, and I loved that the FMC is curvy and beautifully different from the usual body type.
Scorching Hot, Sweet, and Full of Heart—The Perfect Reverse Harem!
Single Daddies Next Door by Hannah Ryder is exactly what I needed: a perfect mix of sizzling chemistry, heartwarming moments, and a dash of real-life challenges that make it all feel more relatable than your typical romance. This book hits every note and doesn’t miss a beat!
The story follows our heroine, a strong, independent woman who becomes the nanny to not one, not two, but three hot single dads. Each dad has his own charm: one is charming and protective, one is brooding and intense, and the other is sweet and a little playful. Together, they’re a perfect match for our heroine, and I loved seeing their relationships evolve from protective neighbors to so much more.
What I really appreciated was how the author didn’t just focus on the steam—though, trust me, there’s plenty of that!—but also the emotional connections. The kids are adorable, the dads’ struggles with being single parents are portrayed realistically, and there’s a lot of heart underneath all the hotness. The reverse harem dynamic works so well here because each guy brings something unique to the table, and there’s no jealousy or drama between them, just a genuine team effort to love and care for their lady.
The pacing is on point, with just the right amount of tension, romance, and swoon-worthy moments. I was literally hooked from the first chapter. And can we talk about the spice? Oh my goodness, it's deliciously steamy, and the chemistry between all of the characters is palpable, whether it’s just sweet moments or full-on heat.
If you’re into reverse harem romance with a great mix of family, fun, and fiery attraction, this book is a must-read. Hannah Ryder has delivered a perfect story that had me laughing, tearing up, and yes, fanning myself more than once. Definitely a 5-star read!
Warning: Prepare to fall in love with more than one book boyfriend, and don't be surprised if you start dreaming of your own hunky, single-dad neighbors!.

Emily has moved to a new town, away from her family and her former fiancé. She is under a therapist to help with her social anxiety. She has suffered emotional abuse from her family because of her weight, because she doesn't fit into the norm. This is also true of her controlling former fiancé.
Emily got help the day she moved in from her three very hot neighbours, who also happen to be firefighters. Ben, Aaron, and Ryan live across the street with their son Jake. Emily has her routine where she can secretly watch them do their chores, without the worry of speaking to them. But her therapist wants her to move out of her comfort zone, to start making social interactions, so she sets her tasks for her to complete.
The men noticed Emily immediately, who doesn't, when she looks like that! She is pretty and has curves to die for, ones they wouldn't mind exploring. So when the opportunity arises and Emily leaves baked treats for them, they go over to thank her. They know she is nervous and shy, so they take things slowly, hoping that it may lead to something more. When Emily comes to their aid to look after Jake, and Jake loves being around Emily, she gets offered a job, which she accepts.
Emily is still getting hassled by her parents and sister. They think they can control her life, they know what's best, and because of what she does, she is at fault for losing her fiancé. Emily needs to learn to take a step away from their toxic relationship, not let them dictate her life, and to validate herself to them.
The men want Emily badly; they don't want to lose what could be special between them. When Emily shows an interest in their lifestyle, they take things slow. She fits in with them so easily. Jake loves being around her, and she him. She has stepped into a motherly role that Jake adores and is flourishing in. But like all good things, something or someone comes along to put a spanner into the works! Will they lose everything because of it?.

📚✨ ARC REVIEW ✨📚 Single Daddies Next Door ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5 stars)
Thank you to Hannah Ryder for a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Emily, a hobby baker 🍪, follows her therapist’s advice and uses her baked goods to strike up conversation with her very hot fireman neighbors 🚒—Aaron, Ben, and Ryan. She thinks they’re way out of her league (thanks to years of verbal abuse from her ex and family), but little does she know…they want more than just her cookies.
The three men, who live together and raise their son 👶, are only interested in a woman who will accept all of them equally. And Emily might just be that woman.
🔥 This was a surprisingly low-angst, high-steam why choose romance. I loved that Emily worked through her insecurities early on instead of falling into miscommunication traps. The fact that she’s already in therapy from the start was such a refreshing touch—major shout out to mental health reps! 🙌
As always with Ryder’s heroes, these men are modern-day Greek gods—built, broody, and carrying the perfect dose of emotional scars. My only tiny quibble? Ben felt a little underexplored compared to Aaron and Ryan; a POV chapter from him would’ve been 👌.

Emily goes through a nasty break up and leaves her corporate job in DC for a fresh start in a small town. Her past toxic relationship and messy family dynamics have left her with poor body image and self esteem. In her new town she ends up moving across from Ryan, Ben, and Aaron, three firefighters, and their toddler son, Jake. Attraction quickly brews between the four as Emily finds herself helping the trio by babysitting Jake and leaving them surprise baked goods.
This was such a sweet, cozy, and fun read! By far my fav of Hannah Ryder’s I’ve read so far! I loved the addition of Jake and seeing the MMCs’ roles in his life. Emily has a lot of past trauma, especially with her body image, that carries over into her current life, so just beware if that is a trigger. However, it was wonderful to see her work to overcome this as much as possible and grow through attending therapy and accepting the love of the men. And the men 😍🥵🔥I love that all three were so different, but Ben has a special place in my heart! ❤️
If you’re looking for a fast, spicy, cozy, sugar sweet palate cleanser of a read, definitely give this one a try!!
Thank you to the author for a free e-arc in exchange for an honest review 🫶🏻
new author for me this was a great enjoyable story of a girl who has been verbally abused and put down for years by her family and ex fiance so she quits her job moves to another city to start a new life and regroup. taking time off from job hunting she stress bakes and gets therapy to deal with her insecurities. across the street from her are 3 firemen raising an adorable little boy that she's crushing on but feels they would never look at her. she babysits in an emergency and the men ask her to be their nanny so now she's in their home baking them goodies and all 3 men are definitely interested in sharing her but can see she's shy and insecure. slowly things progress until suddenly someone unwanted from the past returns causing all kinds of havoc leaving emily unsure of her place in their lives and if she is really wanted. wonderful believable characters, emily was written true to life as someone who has suffered put downs and finds her inner strength then blossoms under the right attention. great world building and loved the use of a therapist to help emily deal with her traumas.

This story was such a sweet surprise! As a why choose romance, it had just the right balance of spice and heart—enough steam to keep things fun, but never so much that it overwhelmed the emotional core of the book.
I really loved how each character felt fully developed. With the multiple POVs, we get to step into the heads of all three MMCs as well as the FMC, which made their dynamics feel more layered and realistic. Ben, Aaron, and Ryan were each distinct in personality—protective, charming, reckless—and together they balanced each other beautifully.
The romance itself leaned into slow burn territory, with a good dose of yearning and just enough angst to make the payoff that much sweeter. What really stood out to me, though, was the mental health representation woven into the story. Seeing the characters work through their struggles in different ways added so much depth and relatability, reminding me that this was more than just a fun fantasy—it had genuine heart.
Tender, playful, and emotional, Single Daddies Next Door is the kind of why-choose romance that makes you smile, swoon, and feel something real.
Single Daddies Next Door had me all up in my feelings. Emily “Emmie” is such a strong, resilient woman, finally overcoming the challenges and cruel bullying from the very people who should have loved and supported her. This story is such a powerful reminder that it is never okay to shame someone for their body. Beauty has no size limit.
Emily’s past relationship was toxic, pushing her to the point of starving herself just to please someone unworthy of her love. But moving to a small, charming town gave her a fresh start… and some seriously gorgeous neighbors to distract her from the hurtful words of her family. She never expected those neighbors to completely sweep her off her feet with a simple, “Can you babysit?” After that, she was a goner.
Aaron, Ben, and Ryan are the definition of devoted dads, and little Jake has “Emmie” wrapped around his tiny finger.
Words can’t express how much I adored this book. Thank you, Hannah, for telling this story and shining a light on the truth, everyone is beautiful, and no one has the right to make you feel otherwise.
A great read with a slow-build RH romance, action, love, hate, therapy, family issues, betrayal, great twists, romance and love.
To get away from an abusive ex-fiance and equally bad family Emily moves states and starts therapy. She struggles with confidence and though she admires her new neighbours with their son she does so at a distance. When her therapist tasks her with break her out of her comfort zone though she ends up leaving cookies on their door before running.
Finding cookies on their doorstep makes Ben, Aaron and Ryan want to speak to their new neighbour even more. They'd all noticed her and take the opportunity to introduce themselves and thank her. As they get to know each other better she also gets to know Jake their son and when they need help she's happy to step in a nanny.
A brilliant RH read with great chemistry between Emily and her men.

*I was given this book as an eArc but my review is based solely on my own thoughts and opinions*
These books from this author are great for wanting an easy steamy reverse harem modern day story. I don’t like the emphasis on her weight though, it’s mentioned a lot and is the reason for all her problems. Would have like something different.
As someone who bakes idk how sanitary it is for them to be getting it on when she’s baking stuff for commission for a coffee shop lol.
Also its seems a bit farfetched to the mfc is a V and the first time they do the nasty all three of them are in it. One is behind. Like no, that takes time, in no way was she ready for that lol. There is never talk about birth control or safety.
I like reading these books as a breather and in between other books because I’m a sucker for a reverse harem and I like how these are relatable in the sense that they are normal people as opposed to like a fantasy book.
I really wanted her ex or family to come into the picture, show up. Add more to the story or drama, you don’t get much of that storyline other than the mentions here or there.
This one wasn’t my fav of hers, not much of a story but still enjoyable. Good spice.
2.5 stars for storyline but 3 for overall. I like this author, when I want my heart to flutter and need some good old spice in my life, I go to her.
Although reverse harems are not usually my thing, I decided to give Hannah Ryder another try and I am glad I did. This book had so much more than just spice. The plot kept me glued, and I stayed up all night to finish because there was no way I could sleep without knowing how it ended.
Emily has been through a lot and is trying to start fresh after a toxic breakup and family issues left her struggling with confidence. Moving to a new town, she never expected to find herself across the street from three hot firefighters and their little boy, Jake. Babysitting him and being pulled into their lives felt natural, and her bond with Jake was honestly one of my favorite parts of the story.
Ryan, Ben, and Aaron each brought something different to the table, but what really stood out was how devoted they all were to Jake. Seeing them open up to Emily, while letting go of the hurt from their past, made this story feel real and relatable. And let us be honest, who does not dream of being loved by three firemen?
What I loved most was the balance between the heat and the heart. Yes, there was plenty of spice, but the emotion and family moments gave it so much more. This has been my favorite book by Hannah Ryder so far, and it left me smiling when I finished.
✨Single Daddies Next Door✨ by Hannah Ryder ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
🔞After a brutal breakup, Emily starts over in a small town — and lands right next door to three smokin’ hot firefighters and their sweet little boy.
What begins as a nanny job quickly turns into something much more: they help her find her confidence, guiding her through all her firsts with passion and care.
The slow, simmering heat soon turns into a burning fire that will either consume them or become their happily ever after.
This sweet story about finding yourself and having the courage to accept love in unconventional ways is guaranteed to leave you swooning – and wanting more.
We meet Emily, a woman who has recently moved to a new town for a fresh start. Dumped for not being what a doushe of a guy wanted and criticized by her own family who blame her for the relationship ending, Emily is one of those characters that I wanted to smack anyone who hurt her. Then we are introduced to Emily’s hot daddies neighbors: Ben, Aaron and Ryan. Three single firefighters with an adorable son, Jake. This has to hands down be my favorite book from Hannah. I loved this story of healing and finding the missing pieces of your puzzle in the most unlikely of places. This book was like being wrapped in a warm blanket with its sweet moments and then wanting to fan yourself because of the spiciness 🤭 I would differently recommend this book to anyone looking for a perfect mix of sweet and spice 💕
Okay, this was such a fun read! Hannah always brings something fresh to the reverse harem trope, and I loved seeing how she explored a different dynamic here.
Our FMC, Emily (aka Emmie 💕), becomes the nanny for three smoking hot firefighter single dads and their adorable son. Cue instant tension, slow-burn(ish) sparks, and so much sweetness. I especially loved the way Hannah balanced the romance & spice with little touches of suspense. I literally flew through this in one day!
What stood out most to me was how respectful and genuine the relationships felt. Sure, there’s plenty of steam (🔥 hello firefighters), but there’s also a lot of love and family woven throughout. Watching Emmie bond with their son Jake while navigating her feelings for Ben, Aaron, and Ryan was so addictive.
Living next door to three firefighters who are also daddies… umm, yes please!
This was such a fun and heartwarming why-choose romance. The heroine is a baker who’s finding herself again after a bad breakup and years of toxic family relationships. Moving next door to three devoted firefighter dads completely changes her life—they make her feel loved, cherished, and whole, while she fills the missing piece in their family.
It had the perfect mix of sweetness, steam, and healing. I loved watching her grow into her own strength while also falling for these amazing men and their kids.
So good, and I cannot wait to pick up Baby for the Doctors next!
Loved every single page of this book. Hannah Ryder has done it again.
The spice wasn't the only hot thing... so was Emily's oven as she stress baked herself into her new life. Cute, curvy and shy home baker who focuses on perfecting her recipes and goodies instead of trying not to focus on the 3 hot firefighter Daddies Next Door.
I love how Ryan, Aaron and Ben all make Emily see everything about her that is lovable and every single thing each of them love about her. They way they make her feel confident and sexy is what every girl dreams of.
The spice was spicing and it was hotter than Emily's oven that's for sure!
Single Daddies Next Door is a standalone, spicy, reverse harem, neighbors, single dad, age-gap, romance with three silver fox firefighters and their curvy new nanny.
This was such a great read. I really enjoyed it. I loved all the main characters and absolutely adored Jake, who was such a cutie. I also loved the way the relationships build and develop and how the characters deal with their emotional baggage.
The writing, pace, flow, and plot were awesome, as were the characters, storytelling, and world building. If you love a great, spicy, why choose romance then this is the book for you.
Moving away from her unsupportive family and her mentally abusive Ex-Boyfriend led Emily (FMC) to move in across the way from 3 hot firefighters - Aaron, Ben, Ryan and their son - Jake. Emily was a recluse that struggled in social situations which all stemmed from her Ex. Her love for baking and her therapist pushed her into putting herself out there which gave her an opening to meet her neighbours. Taking a job with them as a nanny to take care of Jake. Sparks fly between Emily and the guys giving way to all sorts of steaminess and plenty of heartwarming scenarios between all of them. Loved It.
The story premise was sweet. I really enjoyed it. But, the author needs to use a Thesaurus whilst writing. In virtually EVERY paragraph I would constantly find three words; adverbs and adjectives . "Softly, gently and quietly." There was even redundancy in meaning with words such as "quietly" and "silently" in the SAME sentence. Most times, those words did not fit within the context of the sentence or paragraph. I found it all very distracting, that I skimmed through the last few chapters, since the story ended in a fairly predictable way anyways.
I DO recommend the book, but can only give it four stars.
She wanted a fresh start but didn't know how to do it. She did the one thing she loved and that was bake. They wanted nothing but to keep the son safe and loved. When they saw her move in they wanted to get to know her but she kept to herself. When they needed someone to watch their son she was their first choice. She bonded instantly with the little guy and their connection just grew stronger. Just when things start to go right for all of them their history shows up on their doorstep. What they didn't think was to keep her in the loop so of course she thinks the worst. I would love to read about their future.

She moved to a new town to get over an abusive relationship and a dysfunctional family. Emily never thought that she would find her happiness with the single daddies across the street. This riveting story draws you into this heartfelt story about second chances through transformative love and the people that makes it all possible. It is well written, filled with dramatic twists and turns and had me connecting with the characters from start to finish.

What a beautifully written love story about a girl who lost herself because of her ex and found her selves and found love with 3 amazing men. This storyline follows Emily who ends up with Aaron, Ryan and Ben. ALLL very sweet and handsome men. Emily leaves her hometown to find her selves again after a bad breakup, her family is awful, her ex was just as bad. She starts seeing a therapist who helps her adventure out, her sweet neighbor and their little boy are now her entire world!
I won't say much else but cheif kiss ❤️

There is so much sugar in this book, I swear I could smell it as I was reading!
There are three firemen with an adorable son they are raising. But, this story focuses more on rebuilding self confidence, body image and a non traditional family. So many sweet moments in this book - pun intended!
This reverse harem is slightly lower on the spice and higher on the emotions. It gave cozy vibes and heartwarming why-choose romance.
I received a free copy of this book and am leaving a voluntarily review.
This is only my second reverse harem, and it had everything I wanted!
The writing was beautiful and so easy to follow. I really loved how Hannah explored self-esteem through Emily’s journey, and how Aaron, Ben, and Ryan each played a role in helping her rebuild her confidence. Their constant reassurance and the way they all so naturally fell in love with her made the story even more heartwarming.
For me, this is a solid 4-star read with a 3.5🌶️ spice level.
Aaron, Ben, and Ryan are the men of the reverse harem, and Emily is our sweet but insecure MFC. She’s been through so much. She was cheated on, manipulated, and abused by her ex, but now she’s in therapy, in a new state, and finally trying to start over. It’s so easy to connect with her if you’ve ever been in that type of relationship.
And then there’s Jake… the most adorable little boy ever. The guys taking care of him made my heart melt, and I loved the found family vibes throughout this book.
"I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.” Single dads next door. Emily is no stranger to trauma, especially when it comes to how she sees herself. After moving to a new town, she finds three ex–Navy SEALs searching for a nanny—and she quickly becomes a perfect fit in their world. Each man has his own distinct personality, but together they bring something unforgettable.
If you’re in the mood for a quick, spicy, heartwarming, and sugar-sweet read, this one’s for you! 💛
Single Daddies Next Door follows Emily and her three neighbors, firefighters Aaron, Ben and Ryan, and their three year old son Jake. Emily is just out of an abusive relationship and decides to move to a new town, where she begins to see a therapist to help with some of her self esteem and social anxiety. When the therapist tells her to try talking to her neighbors, she doesn’t even make it past the door, but when the three guys are in a jam, they ask Emily if she can babysit Jake.
This is a 4.75 read because the female character is relatable. Aaron, Ryan, and Ben are Jake's firefighter dads. They hire their neighbor across the street to watch Jake, and it takes a test day when they have to get to an emergency where one of their brother's is already at and they need someone to babysit Jake. I had a hard time putting this one down once I got reading it. Reason one was the plot and the relationship that develops after she leaves cookies and other baked goods on their front steps or when she's finally brave enough to cook in their kitchen. Another one is when she wants to spend time with Jake. I like the banter and relationships in this book as well and the spice level is about 3/5 chili peppers.
I enjoyed this book, not as much spicy than I expected but still a good amount of spicy 🌶️ 🌶️.75 …
Great Plot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
The three MMC Firefighters and little Jake are just too adorable and “Emily“ was so sweet with all the baking and cooking, especially after all the abuse she endured in the past..
