I feel bad for people who are so snobby they look down on manga/anime—there’s a whole medium of fantastic storytelling that they’re missing out on. Boo, you’re not fun!!!
J’avoue que quand je l’ai vu dans la sélection je n’en avais pas forcément envie mais au final c’est un manga plutôt sympa assez drôle. Je pense qu’il pourrait plaire à des ados.
js rediscovered peak but this time in print T^T i can't wait for the german one to be released next year i'm gonn sell ts to every single customer mark my workds
5★'s This is way funnier than Dandadan. It’s a story about 4 lonely students who became friends because they share the same psychic ability to see ghosts. We have an exorcist, an otaku who can see ghosts, a socially anxious guy who can only hear ghosts, and a prodigy honor student. Together, they formed a club called ‘Phantom Busters’ to help their exorcist friend exterminate ghosts.
I wasn't expecting much out of legally-distinct ghostbusters in high school, but this was an absolute hoot. Mixing horror with zany humor works better than you might think, and having the straight man of our group basically filling that role because he's the only one without psychic powers makes the set up both funnier and more natural than I was anticipating. I don't necessarily seek out as much shounen manga as shoujo and josei, but I'll keep reading this.
Loved this! Very silly and boyish but also has a good amount of heart. The expressions are so good and I love the main 4 boys and their dynamic. I could totally see this series being adapted into a fun anime!
OH! MY! GAWD!!! I think I found a new fave for real! Super funny situations and jokes ✓ Interesting premise ✓ Gripping story ✓ Great art ✓ Amazingly cute and hot guys (in love, with all of them, like I'm not even kidding you guys, I'm foaming at the mouth) ✓ Good pacing ✓ Kind of a tsundere guy ✓ making good friends with the others ✓✓ put in girls' school uniform (for plot purposes, obvi!) ✓✓✓
Thank you to edelweiss and the publishers for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!!
This was a super fun start to the series! I love the character designs and the way the story is going. Being able to eat ghosts in order to exorcize them is unique and every character was hilarious. I’m looking forward to more from this screen
yeah… this is already peak. i don’t know the last time i’ve been this in love with a main cast of characters. MOGARI. MY KING. eugene as well. ZAKI. MY MANGA FUCKING KINGGGGG. and tamon. the whole squad is so charming and love the plot and i genuinely can’t wait to read more but also don’t want to read it too fast (also the bonus chapter of zaki geeking out over OPLA??? me too king.)
it's cute, cosy, funny, and leading to something that's going to be grabbing me by the throat soon, probably! i enjoyed it waaaay too much! the characters are fun and likeable, and the story is pretty fun. the art style is really nice!
it was initially going to be a cover-read for me, but seeing some chapters in sq monthly, i wanted to pick it up and read it and see for myself. i am happy that i did!!!
I knew I’d like this one! It was so good. The vibes gave off a mix between JJK (mainly cause of the characters like itadori, norbara and megumi) and My Noisy Roommate (exorcising ghosts). The comedy was great and every page kept me hooked. Not to mention the art? Hello!
I could definitely see this becoming an anime, and if it did, it would be awesome!
Thank you NetGalley and Viz Media for the ARC… i need the next volumes!

Oh man it’s been a while since I’ve been this excited to read a manga, I couldn’t put it down. I love the dynamics of the characters and the premise. They’re so goofy and I was laughing so much while reading. Highly, highly recommend!!
The characters were so good!! It was so obvious that the author is a BNHA fan, though not complaining at all! I’m obsessed with Zaki’s design and how fun Mogari is. Mogari reminds me of Fairy Tail’s Natsu so there’s that as well.
oh, I absolutely love this. the characters are so fun and the plot is so interesting. i'm a sucker for a good exorcist manga. hopefully this gets an anime adaptation. i can't wait to read more.
I gave into peer pressure and gave this one a try! It was a fun first volume but I’m hesitant to stay another Shonen Jump title because they tend to be longer series. I’m not sure I have the space for it on my shelves. It kind of reminded me of Dandadan in someways. I enjoyed the wild and silly group of guys. The ghosts that appeared and their backstories were interesting. The fact that it takes place in Kamakura was also fun. It was nice to relive visiting this beautiful, seaside town through this manga! I am looking forward to the next volume.
