After my husband died in a terrorist attack, our kids became my world. My husband was my one and only—I would never meet anyone who could make me feel the way he did.
(Rochelle) Needing a fresh start last year, I took my kids to Twinkle Falls for Christmas, but meeting Jesse was never part of my plan. When my best friend introduced us, this retired police officer’s charm and infectious smile started breaking down my walls.
At the end of our three month holiday break, me and the kids agreed to make Twinkle Falls our forever home after the new year—but something went horribly wrong.
(Jesse) After losing touch with Rochelle once she stopped all communication with me, I knew I'd been ghosted. Roe was the one person I could imagine a future with after my ex left me when I became an amputee. With my buddies trying to fix me up, I decided it’s time to move on from the past.
(Rochelle) Nine months after our planned move, me and the kids arrive in Twinkle Falls with everything we own. Feeling horrible the way I left things with Jesse, I ask our friends to let me be the one to tell him I live here now, once I get settled.
Now ready to share the news with him, I texted Jesse asking if we can talk. Days went by with no response. While having lunch with my friends, I glance around the room and see exactly why he didn’t respond to me—he’s moved on with another woman—the one whose hands are all over him.
Can a Christmas wish intervene and seal this couple’s fate?
This is a feel good, clean and faith-based Christmas romance featuring the charm of small town life, insta-love, and a Christmas miracle with a happy ending. The perfect theme anytime of year.
It's book 6 of an ongoing holiday themed sweet romance series, Hallmark style. Coming November 2025!
I write sweet, wholesome romance with witty banter, a touch of suspense, and happy ever afters. My stories take you on an emotional journey with likable characters, and dreamy settings you'll wish you could visit. Readers frequently compare them to Hallmark and Great American Family style movies.
I’m a mother of five wonderful children and nana to nine amazing grandchildren. I love taking long walks with my hubby and dogs, and traveling in our RV whenever possible.
The beach is my happy place. I’m also a big music lover—it fuels my soul and my body seems to move on its own anytime a song comes on that I like (seriously!).
I’m addicted to Great American Family and Hallmark movies, which is indicative in my writing style. My best days include coffee and dark chocolate with my pups curled up beside me while reading or writing.

A cute second chance, single mom romance by Ms. Freda Ann. If you like feel good stories, Christmas time of year, and small town romance….you’ll enjoy this read!
There isn’t as much depth to the relationship as much is implied from past history BUT it is a very quick read….only 107 pages so take that inconsideration with the depth and at times what one would find lack of more details in the story. With that in mind though, there was still enough to allow you to fall in love with Twinkle Falls and the characters, Rochelle & Jesse. You have to admire Rochelle….lost her husband tragically. Had a hard time with sickness within her family all the while raising her two wonderful kids. I love that Jesse was so forgiving, open minded and not so quick to be upset when Rochelle had suddenly stopped talking to him. That to me is a great characteristic of a high quality man. I loved rooting for their happily ever after
Clean romance, kisses only, fun side characters, and love the friendship and family dynamics that have brought in and weaved in throughout the story. Happily ever is always a plus and I like when authors add an epilogue to get a little more closure on the story.
I received an advance copy of this book and all my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own

A sweet, second-chance romance wrapped up in small-town charm and Christmas cheer! Rochelle, a single mom navigating life after loss, wasn’t expecting love to knock twice—but then came Jesse, the kind of guy who restores your faith in patience and forgiveness. Their story is full of heart, hope, and those cozy, feel-good vibes that make you want to curl up with cocoa and read just one more chapter. The supporting cast keeps things lively with humor, friendship, and just enough drama to keep the pages turning. The cherry on top is the epilogue that ties everything together perfectly.
I’ve read the earlier books in the series, so seeing familiar faces made it even more enjoyable, but Christmas Wish easily stands on its own. Still, why stop at one when you can binge the whole series of clean, small-town romances that leave you smiling long after the end?
A heartfelt, faith-based Christmas romance, this story blends grief, second chances, and small-town charm into a warm, uplifting read. Rochelle and Jesse’s journey is tender and hopeful, making it perfect for fans of sweet, Hallmark-style holiday love stories.
This is a cute, short story in a holiday season setting. I enjoyed it although there were some editing issues. I feel like the author does a good job but she could be much better. The basis is there. Will try her again.
