Wellman's insight of Cambodia's history is enlightening and provides a great overview of the country. I learned quite a bit starting with the ancient Khmer empire up to today and everything in between. It is easy to follow along and is a great reference tool for studying Cambodia's history.

I liked learning about a country I knew little about. I did feel a bit confused while reading this guide; it felt like there was a big time jump between the ancient era and the more modern era of Cambodian history, leaving a gap in my understanding.
