This book is for young girls who are tweens and who are about to become teenagers. I was inspired by my step daughter, Khloe who at the time was a tween herself and is now a teenager. I wanted to write a book to help tween and teen girls with their confidence and to show them that it is okay to be themselves and that they do not have to always listen to social media. I always wanted to reach tween and teenage girls who may have disabilities and to let them know it is okay to be different, because we are all different in the end. I myself have a syndrome called, Velo Cardio Facial syndrome, also known as DiGeorge syndrome and 22q11.2 deletion which is responsible for my dyslexia and ADD. I have a website to help inform people about disabilities called, inqludedu.com. If we were all normal, life would be boring; its okay to feel self conscious about yourself when we are growing up, it's part of life. We need to stop bullying people just because they are different. It is our differences that make us beautiful.
