This is a collection of short stories about some of the couples in Sleepy Hollow. Each individual couple has a rocky journey on their way to finding their happily ever after. I have loved Penny from first meeting her in earlier books and Mitch has also caught my attention. They have been quietly dating for some months, and Mitch is keen to see if they can grow closer. Penny though has learnt to be cautious after being targeted by a violent ex and I just want to giver her a hug and tell her to reach for her happiness! Can she trust herself and Mitch? And as danger threatens has, she left things too late?

Ryan and Willow are co-workers thrown into a perilous situation. But there is a both danger and a clock ticking away. Can they get through it safely? And is this the catalyst they both need to take a risk with each other?

Gia Cobie demonstrates here why she is one of one must read authors, there are twists and surprised within each story and characters you will ultimately rout for. I loved it!

Four absolutely wonderful short reads. This book has stories that are definite page turners. They are complete in the story with the men falling as fast as men can for women they have noticed for some time and have quietly fallen just a little bit/ a whole lot in love with but are too afraid that the woman is beyond them. Beyond wanting to be with just an “ordinary guy”. These guys are very confident in just about all other facets of life, but as with most of us when we meet that special one, the one that literally takes ort breath away. And the one that makes us lose any other coherent thought other than how just beautiful they are and how they could not possibly be interested in me.

Yep, we have all been there at one time or another, just lucky for us we do not have the issues that some of these ladies do. We do not have to be rescued by someone who would risk their own life to save ours. But this book has 4 of them willing to risk it all because that is just who they are, And the women love them for it and apparently because they are all very incredibly good looking and seemingly as it should be only have eyes for them. I did not have a favorite book as they all were excellent and are quick reads and very hard to put down. This book can easily be read in a day (I read it in a day while we were having a Midwest snowstorm, much better than being outside in whiteouts and subzero windchills.)

As with every Gia book, this was a great read, and you are rewarded with 4 happy endings. I highly recommend it for any Gia Cobie fan or anyone looking for a sweet happy read.

She is uncertain of the move, but when the decision is abruptly taken from her, will he be able to save her and show her that he loves her? This is a book of 4 short stories that are 3 to 4 chapters long that I sincerely wish where full length stories. I would love to hear about Dave and Hollis's first few dates! Mike and Darcy's story had me a little upset. I felt like Darcy should have trusted Mike enough to share the tragedy with him instead of breaking up with him when they were younger. I was surprised by Mike's reaction to the truth. I don't think I could have handled it the same way. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Men like Mitch are amazing!! To knowingly put their life in danger to protect people and their homes and property goes above and beyond. I would really love to know more about how Mitch and Penny blend their lives together and if Penny's ex really is sorry or if he's just waiting for another chance to destroy Penny. I really have to know where Ryan and Willow's budding relationship leads. This book is about 4 amazing and brave men and the women they want a future with. I'm hoping this is just a tease and I can find out more about these awesome couples!

This is a collection of short stories. They were all good. Some I enjoyed more than others, but if you are looking for some romance with danger thrown in, then this is the book for you.

I liked this one, but I needed this one to be longer. It felt like it ended abruptly. I needed more of a build-up.

Defending Darcy
I enjoyed this one a lot more. It was fast-paced and wrapped up nicely. It also helped that the characters knew each other. They had dated for about 8 years before they broke up and when they wound up in the same town together, they decided to give it another go.

Penny's Hero
The first line in this short story had me laughing 😂. A great way to start! I enjoyed this one. Who doesn't want a firefighter to save her?

Chaos on Christmas Eve
I'm a procrastinator too when it comes to Christmas shopping, but I'm working on doing better, lol. I enjoyed this one as well. Would have preferred this one to be a little longer as well.

This is a collection of 4 novellas where the heroes are protective of the women they fell hard and fast for. This is great when you want a full story and don’t have all day to dedicate to reading especially around the holidays. You can read one of the stories if you only have an hour or so or you can read all 4 if you have more time. Each story is different and kept me turning pages to find out what was going to happen.

I enjoyed each story and reading about each couple. Each story takes place in a small town, with mystery, suspense and romance. A Hero for Hollis is about Dave and Hollis. Defending Darcy, we learn Mike and Darcy’s story. Penn’s Hero is all about Penny and Mitch. The final story is Chaos on Christmas Eve with Ryan and Willow.

We had a few familiar faces and of course plenty of happy endings but not without their own twists and suspense that brings them together, perfect for Gia Gobie!

A Hero for Hollis – Dave shows up just in time to intervene with the danger that shows up around Hollis.
Defending Darcy – Mike and Darcy sit down and thoughts of second chances pop in my mind but again, danger shows up and Mike is there to keep her safe.
Chaos on Christmas Eve- Willow and Ryan work together and have never crossed the line until they have to work closely together.
Penny’s Hero- Mitch and Penny find themselves facing a few struggles but Mitch doesn’t give up and Penny doesn’t give in.

Oh my goodness! Gia has surpassed herself. Not just one amazing story but several stories compacted with danger, love at first sight and love that’s been simmering for years and/or months. The danger is what makes the couples realize that now is the time to move forward towards a beautiful life together. Gia makes every word count. The dangerous situations kept me sitting at the edge of my seat. The bravery of the couple’s touched my heart and how the couples open up to each other is braver than anything else that happens in their individual situations. I couldn’t put the book down. I was expecting an amazing book that Gia usually writes and I was skeptical about shorter stories but I was wrong. I loved everything about each story. Thank you Gia. You never disappoint. Love in Sleepy Hollow by Gia Cobie is a delightful collection of four short stories, all set in the familiar and atmospheric town of Sleepy Hollow. Each story focuses on a couple readers may have met in passing in earlier books from the series, with every pair bravely taking a chance on love. Gia Cobie is one of my go-to authors, and while I usually prefer her longer novels, I truly enjoyed these romantic snapshots. The stories are filled with the perfect blend of suspense and romance, keeping me hooked from the very beginning. I loved returning to Sleepy Hollow, and I would also highly recommend this book to new readers - it offers a wonderful introduction to Gia Cobie’s writing and storytelling style.

Cozy holiday romance with danger sneaking its way in…

I love this author’s ability to mesh sweet (and sultry) romance and danger with a cast of characters that continue to surprise and delight. Yes, I said it, delight lol. What else can you say when protective, dashing heroes from all walks of life find their strong romantic partners? There is family and protectiveness, friendship and love, and all the excitement you can handle when the dangers of life knock at the door.

These short stories are set around the holidays and were the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Short enough to finish a complete story in between the chaos but enough to get lost in a world I’ve come to love…

This is a mix of four short holiday stories. I love these from authors over the holidays when we really need that book fix but we just have so much going on. We can get all the wonderful highs and lows we need in the short time we can carve out to relax. We get to follow Dave and Hollis’s story in A Hero for Hollis. Defending Darcy has our hero Mike coming to save the day. Penny’s Hero with Mitch and Penny was definitely one of my favorites. The final story is Chaos on Christmas Eve with Ryan and Willow harrowing night.

Each story bring the warmth and adventure we expect when we pick up a Gia Cobie book.

Love in Sleepy Hollow is a delightful edition to Gia Cobie's Heroes of Sleepy Hollow series. This book contains four short stories full of the wonderful heroes and heroines and nail biting suspense we've learned to expect from Gia Cobie. These four stories involve some characters that have been in the background throughout the series and I loved getting to know them in these short stories and see them get their happily ever afters. It was also wonderful to see some cameos from our beloved Sleepy Hollow heroes as well. If you enjoy romantic suspense, friends to lovers, second chance romances, and swoony heroes, I definitely recommend this book and this entire series.

What a wonderful little collection of Sleepy Hollow stories. I have to admit, my favourite was Chaos on Christmas Eve. It was action packed and romantic as hell. I loved it! Penny’s story was also great - I’ve been waiting for her to get her happy ever after ever since her ordeal with Mark in a previous book! This is a must read for anyone who’s a fan of the series and author because you’ll recognise so many familiar faces/names.

This is a book of four short stories all set in the wonderful town of Sleepy Hollow. They are all quick reads, two are three chapters and the other two are four chapters. Even though the stories are short, they still had all the suspense and romance I've come to love from this author. My favorite story was Chaos on Christmas Eve, as I could relate to Willow's tendency to procrastinate and hesitancy to ask Ryan if he wanted to go out with her. While I usually enjoy Gia’s writing, some of the characters felt immature for being in their mid to late 30s, which made it hard for me to stay invested. My favorite story out of all of them was Mike and Darcy’s—I loved the second-chance element. Overall, this book was just okay for me, but it might be great for someone else. 😊💗
