Playing for the President's Daughter: A MMF Sports Romance

Rate this book
The president’s daughter shouldn’t be sharing a bed with two men.

She definitely shouldn’t still be thinking about them after one night together.

Faye Donnelley lives with every move photographed or judged. She can handle gossip blogs and political narratives, but what she really wants is something that isn’t for public consumption. One Fourth of July with two college baseball players finally gives her a night that isn’t for cameras or anyone outside that room.

Dylan Statler and Jase Matthewson are best friends, stepbrothers, and college teammates with dreams of making it to the big leagues. Hooking up with the president’s daughter was supposed to be a one-time thing. Except they can’t stop checking Faye’s socials or replaying how it felt with her pressed between them, their hands and mouths all over her.

After Dylan and Jase are drafted by different teams hundreds of miles apart, their private group text with Faye turns into stolen weekends, hotel rooms, and late-night video calls they can’t resist. It starts to feel like they aren’t just playing for their careers, but for the president’s daughter, and for something between the guys they can’t ignore.

If their relationship gets exposed, Faye could become a political talking point while sports media outlets dissect Dylan and Jase’s personal lives instead of their stats. That fallout would be bad enough, but when a terrifying moment shakes their world, it forces them to decide if they’re willing to risk it all or walk away from a relationship that only works when all three are together.

This was my first time reading something by these authors and I was absolutely impressed with how well thought out this story was, the plot was engaging, and a fresh, fun filled one!

While it was slow to start at first, I found myself skimming at the beginning, especially with the overly described baseball games that our two MMCs played, but other than that this book was amazing. Once I really got into the heart of the story between Faye, Jase, and Dylan I was fully hooked and locked into their story!

I love a good why choose, especially ones with the boyfriends being boyfriends and let me tell you, when Jase and Dylan gave into their attractions, I was drooling. Like of course, Dylan kissed Jase first and while Jase was a little shocked to begin with, with Faye their guiding and communicating with them and helping them, he absolutely leaned into what Dylan started.

I was such a sucker for these dreamy, swoony stepbrother baseball playing MMCs. Faye was a lucky, lucky girl!

And I also loved how accepting and full of love each of these MCs families were towards them individually and in response to their relationship. It was the most beautiful, sweet found family full of love and acceptance.

I 100% recommend this amazing book to anyone who enjoys:

✨why choose
✨mmf
✨baseball romance
✨president's daughter
✨stepbrothers
✨bi-awakenings

Thank you to the author agency and the authors for this ARC in exchange for my honest review! 💕

RACHEL AND KIMBERLY HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!

I first fell in love with their books when I first read Dibs nearly two years ago, it was then I was introduced to Jase and Dylan. And from that first read, some part of me had hoped they’d get their own book. I’m glad they did. But never did I think it would be a part of a trouple. Now, this was my second book I’ve ever read where the relationship was a polyamorous relationship, and I honestly can’t wait to read more. I hope that in the future, Rachel and Kimberly produce more polyamorous relationship themed books because I know I’d be a fan of it from day one.

A 4th of July hookup/threesome turns into so much more with some time and work.

This was my first book by these authors and I was entertained by their writing style and the storyline. While this book had appearances by characters from prior books it was easily read as a standalone.

The relationships between Faye and each of the guys was balanced and while geographically distance added extra challenges, they made a strong effort at keeping the communication open. A lot of focus is on baseball, and as a baseball fan this was definitely my cup of tea.

Jase and Dylan’s relationship had a few different facets that made it more interesting. The guys are stepbrothers, longtime best friends, teammates then competitors, and then boyfriends. I found their relationship fascinating. I was challenged with distinguishing between the two characters, especially as the chapters from their POV alternated. Jase and Dylan seemed to be very similar which probably made their relationship stronger.

This was an entertaining and enjoyable read.

I received a free ARC from the author and The Author Agency; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

I was really happy when I found out I was going to get this ARC, since this book has been on my reading list since it was announced. I love MMFs and I love how Kimberly and Rachel write, so I was sold from the beginning.

The way Dylan and Jase navigate their relationship with each other is a sight to behold. They know they are all-in with Faye, but it takes them a little longer to realise that they love each other as well. It's wonderful to see them uncover their feelings for each other one step at a time. I love that Faye is the one who encourages them to explore, since it shows her love for them has no bounds.

I loved the pace at which the story unfolds, and the spicy scenes are top-notch. I fell in love with the three of them from the very beginning, but Dylan has a special place in my heart. I really liked the cameos from other characters from previous novels, since I read all of them.

100% recommended!
Happy reading! ❤️

The continuation of Kimberly and Rachel's expanding world brings us to the story of Jase, Dylan, and Faye. While this is a standalone, I highly recommend reading the books recommended at the beginning for a better reading experience because knowing the background of the characters and the side characters just enriches the book!

This was a hot and sweet double bi-awakening with a perfect blended relationship between the three MCs. I loved every second they were together and felt the yearning every second they were apart.

Ohhhhhhhhh spiciness. This was so freaking good. I couldn’t put it down. There was drama and love and two hot men who were completely obsessed with her and with each other. A little taboo never hurt anyone. Having not 1 but 2 men who just cannot get enough of you. And them together 🥵 who knew that would be so hot. I cannot wait to see what comes next for you ladies. I am soooo excited to read more 💥

Hmm... 4.25? Yeah, I think 4.25 is the correct rating for this book.

Usually I am not a fan of the whole forbidden royal/VIP trope, because the rules sometimes are too much and take away from the romance, but in this book I loved it. It not only made sense, but it also helped them navigate their relationship.

Faye, Jase and Dylan did not have an easy relationship from the beginning. They had a one night stand that stayed on all their minds for so long that it was inevitable not to happen again. You could tell that this will have yearning for days since the beginning and omg it did not disappoint.

I loved the timeline of the book as well, usually authors avoid having to write long timelines where a lot of time passes between the interactions between the characters and stuff, but I loved the authors took this route because not only did it make so much sense for the story, but it was also so realistic..

What happened with the guys and baseball was also realistic and showed that for your dreams you have to work. You can't expect things to happen to you if you aren't willing to put in the work.

These three navigating their relationship was beautiful to watch, it was clear they were made for each other. HOWEVER... this is my first book by these authors and I didn't know they write MM as well cuz... the MM part is lacking, unfortunately. I feel like they didn't know how to introduce the MM part and just threw it in there to be done with. It came so out of nowhere no wonder the characters didn't know how to react. I loved how Faye encouraged them to explore that though. It would've been a shame to stop exploring just because it didn't make sense for the way the author's brought these 2 together. It felt like an authors who writes MMF for the first time and doesn't know how to get to the MM part. In the end it worked out, but I didn't really had time to see them fall in love. I think the authors built Jese's and Dylan's relationship on their history alone without showing us how they got there. How they fell in love with each other, how they are with each other as lovers, not just as friends or stepbrothers.

I feel like the author wanted so bad to make sure they didn't forget about Faye that they underestimated the importance of having Jase and Dylan have alone time as a couple as well in order to develop a romantic relationship.

The book also had suspenseful moments with the situation with Faye and all that so, yeah, aside from the badly executed MM romance ( the spice was fine between all 3 of them, the guys included, don't you worry about the spice, that was fire ) this book was very enjoyable. I am glad I gave it a chance and if you've read more of the authors books you will see a lot of cameos as well.

4.25✨️

•••

P.S.- I am an MM romance reader in general, why chooses were my first love and this is why I love going back to them, hence, why I am here. Because of this I prefer the MMF type of why choose because it has the best of both worlds, but they are also imho more realistic. With this being said, this is why I think and said that the MM romance part of the book was badly executed. For someone who doesn't usually read MM or has read MM just when it is a why choose and the boyfriends are also boyfriends, the MM part of the book will be ok. They'll lean mostly into the smut of it all and enjoy it. Me? I needed more. I needed connection, I needed communication, I needed them to lean into the romantic part of their relationship as well. I feel like it was a missed opportunity. This is why this book is not a 5 star.

•••

P.S.S.- I think this is the only book in which I would've loved a 3rd act break-up even tho usually I hate them. A 3rd act break-up would've made so much sense and it would've made/given Jase and Dylan explore /have the opportunity to explore the romantic side of their relationship more. It would've built that romantic connection and give us more. Again, missed opportunity 😢

This storyline is executed so beautifully by Kimberly Knight and Rachel Lyn Adams ,it’s divine. All the feels as well as the squeals . It’s exquisite and well worthy of a second visit. I mean phew there’s lot packed in too 😮‍💨 Hooking up with the President’s daughter isn’t the normal thing to do but these two got it right . But one taste of this delectable delight and they didn’t take flight because this set up feels so right…Best friends, brothers in arms and college buddies, teammates . Faye is the one that got away for a while .They follow her socials ,just for a gander ,both of them wishing they could land her with her feminine wiles and come to bed eyes that emit smiles. They move away to different teams but stay firmly on team Faye . Their text context is clear . She’ll come for both of them ,she loves their team of three . They all agree it’s ecstasy ,but they’re playing with fire 🔥 chasing their desire . As the daughter of the President, Faye’s life is no longer her own. Photographed at every turn, she is used to living life in the spotlight, but sometimes all she wants is something just for herself. At a Fourth of July party at her family’s estate, she has a scorching night with two college baseball players, and while she doesn’t plan on a repeat, she can’t forget the night they shared.

Dylan and Jase are more than just college teammates, they’ve been best friends since they were children, and when their fathers got married, they also became stepbrothers. While they never expected their night with Faye to be more than a fond memory, both are unable to stop thinking about her, or checking her out on social media. When a family wedding brings them back together, it marks the beginning of group chats, stolen moments and secret getaways. But when time and distance are keeping them apart, will the secrets break them, or bring them closer together?

I received an early copy of this book from the author agency and really enjoyed it. At the beginning I didn’t really know what to think of Faye, as she was originally portrayed as being just as materialistic as the tabloids describe her, but the more we get to know her, the more we learn who she really is. I loved how Dylan and Jase are completely devoted to Faye, and eventually, each other, and as soon as they realize this is more than just casual, they’re all in. It felt like Faye’s presence gave them permission to explore things they hadn’t even considered before, which made them all stronger in their relationship. The only thing I would have liked to see more of, is the aftermath of everything going public (and what ultimately happened to Callum), as it felt like the book ended pretty abruptly, but I’ll just assume they’re all too busy getting their happily ever after.

I inhaled Playing for the President’s Daughter like it was air. One sitting. No regrets. Kimberly Knight really said what if power, pressure, fame, and feelings collided in the most deliciously messy way and then cranked the heat and the heart to eleven. 🥵⚾️

Faye Donnelley is such a standout. She is not a porcelain princess or a political prop. She is watched, judged, packaged for public consumption, and all she wants is one thing that belongs only to her. That Fourth of July night felt like rebellion wrapped in desire and freedom, and I was hooked from that moment on.

Dylan and Jase? Lord help me. Best friends. Stepbrothers. Teammates. Soft where it counts, fiercely loyal, and completely undone by one woman who sees them without the spotlight glare. Their connection isn’t just hot, it’s intimate and emotional and tangled in that way that feels terrifying and inevitable all at once. The private group texts, the stolen weekends, the long-distance ache, it all felt so real it hurt.

What really got me was the tension. Not just romantic or physical, but the stakes. Politics. Media. Careers. The constant threat of exposure hanging over every tender moment. You can feel how much they have to lose, which makes every choice heavier and every touch feel like defiance.

And when things turn scary? My heart was in my throat. The emotional payoff of them having to decide if love is worth the fallout absolutely wrecked me in the best way.

This book is sexy, yes, but it’s also vulnerable, intense, and surprisingly heartfelt. It’s about choosing each other when the world wants to tear you apart and refusing to fit into boxes that were never made for you.

Five stars. A thousand feelings. I am not over it and I don’t want to be. 💖🔥📱

I was disappointed in this book, it had the potential to be great but the authors settled for mediocre. The plot of romance books is the romance, how starts, develops, turns serious and gets it HEA and we, the readers, are supposed to pulled in and swept up and away along the the main characters. This book forgot that, it forgets to have the serious conversations. The stepbrother MMCs who along the way have a bi awaking go from hooking up with the main FMC to also hooking up with each other yet they continuously decide to save the serious conversation as to how their relationship transitioned that way, except it never happens. Same for the FMC, she has all the privilege that being the President's daughter comes with, complaining constantly about being painted as the party girl who does nothing but shop and yet, that's how she's written. She wants to do charity work but those moments are glossed over or done off page. We don't really get to know the three main characters, there's no depth just surface facts, things that you would tell someone in small talk. Even the "bad guy" is written with so many stereotypes, you knew exactly what his role was and what heinous act he was going to commit from his first on page appearance. On a personal note, I have issues with how this book is visually presented. The main FMC is older than the two stepbrother MMCs yet the cover of this book has her looking close to being a teenager while the stepbrothers look like they could be in their 40's, which is rather metaphorical for this book. It should have been a hot super spicy love story when it was really just kind of boring.

WOW. This was all kinds of hot!

I’m in my MM only era but when I saw the ARC for this book I knew I had to get it. Not only because it’s part of the forbidden series but because the story sounded so good. And it didn’t disappoint.

Faye, Jase and Dylan were out of this world amazing. Their chemistry was off the charts. From the moment they hooked up, you could feel the charge among them.

Faye had no issues going for them both, and honestly? Who could blame her? Dylan and Jase were not only hot, but they treated her like the princess she was. They saw the real woman behind all the glam and high status.

They didn’t want to be with her because of who her father was. They wanted her for HER and that’s something nobody else had done for her. They respected her.

They knew how dangerous it would be if their secret ever came out. But they were willing to risk it all to be together. Once they saw that it was more than just attraction, they wanted to give it a real shot.

I’m so used to my MM books that I’ve forgotten just how hot MMF can be. Kimberly and Rachel didn’t hold back on the spice and hot damn, Faye is a very brave woman 🥵🥵🥵

Make sure you’re alone when you read this if you blush easily because it’s not for the faint of heart 🤣

I loved how Faye was able to help Dylan and Jase realize how deep their feelings for each other were. That it was so much more than just a beautiful a friendship.

I really enjoyed this book. It was so much fun seeing past characters and how their lives have been since the very first book(which is still my favorite 😁), Hayden and Tyler will forever have my heart. I’m so happy for them.

If this is the end of the series, it was a perfect conclusion. If not, I’m looking forward to more.

Playing For The President’s Daughter -
Kimberly Knight & Rachel Lyn Adams
5/5

* SPOILERS *

I discovered these two authors last year and I’m so addicted to how well these two pair together. I will say that I think that this might be my favorite book they’ve ever written but I’ve only read a handful of them.

Dylan and Jase are stepbrothers that have a one night stand with the president’s daughter, Faye, and might goodness, that fiat scene was spicy. Their reconnection scene was everything because that’s when things start to drift to something even better.

I love me a good poly book but when the guys are boyfriends too, sign me up pretty please! The way that they had the most perfect biawakening that I’ve ever read. It was so cute and just everything I needed. I just love the progress we get to see with Jace and Dylan because I love a good book where the characters take the time to realize that they are in it for realz

And Faye. I just love the growth that we see from her as well. Her father is so good to her and the speech that he makes at the end of the book was just so perfect. I love the family members and just the other side characters that we get to see from other books.

There is a bit of angst in the book but I love the turnabout to what does happened you can’t have a book without the drama.

Kimberly and Rachel did so well with the pace when things were unfolding. I cannot wait to read the next book from these two.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

This one totally stole my heart. ❤️

Playing for the President’s Daughter is the perfect mix of swoony romance, heart, and just enough drama to keep you flipping pages way past bedtime (ask me how I know). The chemistry between the characters feels real and natural — not forced — and you can’t help but root for them like they’re your own friends.

And what makes this story extra special? It’s not your typical love triangle… it’s a true why-choose/throuple romance. The President’s daughter and two baseball players (who also happen to be best friends and stepbrothers) find themselves falling for each other in the sweetest, most unexpected way. Instead of rivalry, you get loyalty, friendship, and a whole lot of heart — which makes their connection feel even deeper.

The presidential backdrop adds fun, high-stakes tension, but it’s really the relationships, banter, and tender moments that shine. There are laughs, swoons, and a few scenes that’ll have you grinning like a fool at your book.

Kimberly Knight and Rachel Lyn Adams have such an easy, addictive writing style. Super smooth, super engaging — the kind where you say “just one more chapter”… and suddenly it’s midnight.

If you love romance that’s a little different, full of heart, and packed with characters you genuinely care about, this one’s a must-read. And fair warning: you’ll be adding the rest of their books to your TBR before you even finish the last page.

Highly recommend!

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Playing for the President’s Daughter is a baseball, lust-to-love poly romance and part of an interconnected series.

The story starts off very slowly, and for me the first part dragged more than necessary. I usually enjoy a slow burn (even when it’s mostly emotional), but here it felt like the plot took a while to really find its footing, and some early sections could have been more condensed.

Things improve significantly in the second half, when the focus shifts more clearly to the relationship and the dynamic between the characters. I especially appreciated how the bi-awakening was handled, both within the thruple and in relation to family — it felt thoughtful and respectful.

The overall tone becomes very feel-good toward the end, and I liked how conflicts were resolved. That said, the characters didn’t feel as fully developed as I’d hoped, particularly the FMC, who often felt defined more by her role as the president’s daughter than by her own passions or goals outside the relationship.

Although this works as a standalone, it’s part of a wider series, and there are several references to past events. They don’t disrupt the plot, but they do influence the context of the story.

Overall, this was an okay read with a strong finish but a very slow start. If you enjoy baseball romances, poly relationships, and a warm, low-angst vibe, this could be a good fit for you.

This is a sports romance where a one night stand turns into more. Beware, the time frame is really drug out. While I understood it, it was harder for me to connect with the characters because of it. A small complaint, the first few sex scenes played out the same way. It's like Callie was in charge and always did the same actions in the same order.

Faye Donnelley is the daughter of the President of the United States. Everyone watches every move Faye makes and likes to drag her on social media. Essentially to the public, Faye is a rich girl who likes to shop and doesn't do much else. Faye also tries not to cause any scandals for her family because there have already been some issues with her 2 brothers in other books.

Dylan Statler and Jase Matthewson are best friends, stepbrothers, and college teammates who aspire to play MLB. Dylan and Jase spend one night with Faye behind closed doors and cameras. Afterward, neither man can stop thinking about Faye and following her every move through social media. Dylan and Jase become flirty friends with Faye all while longing for more. There's not a lot of actual physical time spent with Faye most communicationis through their phones. Eventually, Dylan and Jase are even split up. At a certain point Jase and Dylan feel differently about each other too. What would social media say about the President's daughter dating 2 men and step brothers as well?

4.25⭐️

Playing for the President's Daughter is a standalone MMF romance by Kimberly Knight and Rachel Lyn Adams, but it features characters from other books in the world these two authors have brilliantly created, so there are quite a few cameos.

As Jase and Dylan are stepbrothers whose dads married when they were ten, they have been close for a long time and do everything together, including playing baseball, and are about to be drafted. They are also best friends with the president's son and therefore know his sister, Faye. This is how Faye, Jase and Dylan come together for a fun one night.

But it's a night all three find hard to forget, and Jase and Dylan are keen for a repeat. However, Faye is a little less enthusiastic, but eventually the trio find their way back to each other, and soon they are meeting in secret.

Yet Jase and Dylan are drafted, and about to play for two different baseball teams, and Faye, well, she's expected in DC to attend events on behalf of the White House.

But the three soon realise they want more, and it's not just more between Jase and Faye and Faye and Dylan, but between Jase and Dylan. As they start to see each other in a whole new light and with Faye's encouragement, they begin to explore their own relationship.

Yet, with the glare of the media and a persistent son of a senator who believes that he and Faye should be together, the path to a polyamorous relationship is far from smooth.

And with a bit of danger, plenty of spicy moments and familiar faces, this was a delightful read. I just wish the Dylan/Jase side had been explored a little more than it was.

My thanks to TAA for the opportunity to read an early copy of Play for the President's Daughter. All thoughts expressed are my own. ☺️

Tropes- Friends to Lovers, Step Brothers, Double Bi awakening, MMF, The President’s daughter, Baseball Players, Fling to lovers

This is my first read from both of these authors and I absolutely ate this book up, I couldn’t put it down the pacing of this book was also very good plus the plot, spice, chemistry with Faye, Jase and Dylan was incredible from their very first time they met

Faye is President’s daughter who’s known as the “spoiled shopaholic girl” but she’s so much more than that and I absolutely loved her character she was just amazing, cool, and it was just chef kiss because she takes no crap and definitely direct with what she need and want!

I love me a good why choose especially an mmf because who doesn’t!? Dylan and jace has been best friends basically their whole life and became stepbrother when they their dad’s got together Faye’s brother and Dylan and Jace brother are best friends so they always heard about each other but first met during a party and things got very spicy

Jace and Dylan are both incredible MMC‘s. I couldn’t get enough of these two they’re both just such green flags like give me more, watching them open up about their feelings just made my heart squeeze and yes, I did cry when they both have to play for different teams in different states because they never been apart.

The three of them just belong together and the way they were making it work and meeting up and going away together was amazing cause they really made an effort to be together I was just giggling and kicking my feet during the whole book and I definitely have to read the other books!

Thank You For giving me this arc!

Navigating unique relationships in the spotlight

I really enjoyed this story. The way the relationships came together and the way they balanced each other was beautiful.

The story hut hard an fast then there was a gap of anything interesting until they met up for the second time but everything else was absolute fire. The spice was high heat and fit with their dynamics. I love the way they worked around the challenges with them all being in the spotlight.

I absolutely love a MM awakening though I feel like they kind of went from BJ to all the way without much in between. There was no discussion on who would bottom it just happened. Though a lot of the relationship stuff did seem to just fall into place so I guess that was just on par.

I absolutely adored the way they all came out that they were all together. It was without fanfare but also where they knew a lot of people were watching. It was perfect for them. Then the President's response was fantastic.

Overall I really enjoyed the story and would love to go back and read about everyone else at some point. This is only my second book from these authors but I really enjoy their writing.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Faye, Dylan and Jase. Dylan and Chase are best friends while Faye is a girl who lives her life with every moment witnessed or taken in still photos. Gossip, blogs and the political arena she can handle. But when it comes to really wanting something out of life that is now for public consumption, but for herself. The fourth of July is her time because Dylan and Chase helped her reach for that moment and find it. . These boys are not only best friends by stepbrothers and teammates. They have dreams of making it to the big leagues. Now that time has passed and they thought one night would be one night, they are finding it impossible not to wonder about Faye. Now, things have turned into group chats that are naughty and motel rooms when possible. If they are ever found out to be with the President's daughter, their entire lives could explode. I loved reading this book. I loved the characters and had the best time reading this book. There is quite a bit going on in this book to keep you turning the pages.

Faye knows how important the public’s perception of her and the effect a scandal could have on her father’s career. When it comes to Dylan and Jase she decides to finally do something for herself and it is a night she will never forget even if she doesn’t believe it could ever be more.

Jase and Dylan have been connected with each other since they were children as friends, stepbrothers, playing for the same college team and getting ready to start their professional careers in baseball. Neither can deny the feelings they have for Faye, and they soon realize that one night is not enough when it comes to Faye and the changing relationship between them as well.

Through this story Faye, Jase and Dylan make discoveries not only when it comes to the relationship between them but about themselves as well. Before Faye, Jase and Dylan never questioned the relationship between them but once that door is opened there is no going back and all three are better because of it. Hot chemistry, a little danger and a love that wasn’t to be denied even if it wasn’t going to be easy.

I generally don't read romance that involve a woman any longer. For several reasons. But I really enjoyed a previous book by this author that involved baseball players, so I thought why not?

And...I liked it!

I think one of the reasons that I did like it is that Faye was a strong character. She wasn't a simpering woman incapable of thinking for herself. She has no problem saying what she wants and going out to get it.

I liked the step brother's angle and the fact that it's mentioned quite a few times how Jase and Dylan have always had an especially close relationship. And that was well before the bi awakening.

There are times when you need to suspend reality. Especially when it comes to the baseball aspect of it. Ok, and a couple of other times. I mean we are dealing with the president's daughter.

There was a good happily ever after that was a bit too clean for me, but again. It's a romance, right?

I’m a big fan of these authors and was interested in reading about Faye. I read the previous book with her brother and his security detail. Faye meets these men (Dylan and Jase) at a weekend barbecue and they are instantly attracted to one another and after a game of never have I ever, Faye is intrigued by them. So soon after these three indulge in an intimate encounter. However, Faye has tight security and the guys are struggling to become professional baseball players. So lots of time elapses between them getting together but they do have these cute text messages. I enjoyed the romance and spice between these three and the biawakening between the men. There was some mystery with a stalker but the story was great and entertaining as all the previous books were featuring this family. If you had read previous book by these author expect some character crossovers.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is a MMF romance with a HEA ending.
Faye is the president's daughter. She has a calendar full of events and the media always criticizing her. She can't go anywhere or do anything that won't end up in some gossip blog.
Dylan and Jase are best friends who also happen to be step-brothers. They have done everything together since they were kids and their bond only got more solid when their dads got married. They have even been known to share the occasional woman. But what happens when they both fall for the same girl and with them being drafted by separate teams far away from each other.
I really enjoyed this book and the fact that we got to see so many of our old friends make an appearance.

Thank you to the Author Agency for the ARC of Playing for the President’s Daughter and the opportunity to read this story early! Rachel and Kimberly once again have done a fantastic job with the complex dynamics of MM relationships and a MMF polyamorous dynamic. Especially with the unique storyline of the President’s daughter and two MLB baseball players. Dylan and Jase and their road to discovering they might love each other more than platonically was great to watch unfold and I loved how much they both loved Faye - and so quickly as well! The suspense was definitely real throughout the book, I was just waiting for them to be found out. But the pacing was good and worked well for the timeline. Rachel and Kimberly are definitely writing books that I want to keep reading!
