This was a great ending to the series. I really enjoyed it, and I really enjoyed seeing the mate circle finally get their shit together and act like a mate circle should. It was quite entertaining to watch Orcus, Reaper, and Flame constantly make fun of the fact that they weren't a proper mate circle and chastise Sera's three mates in the same vein. Considering they never would have been able to deal with Demeter had they got, it was a good thing the three of them finally got the message and completed the circle and accepted that Sera was all of theirs.

It was also very interesting watching Sera step into her own and separate herself from Persephone's soul. They were never really one and the same, but I know having Persephone's soul caused a lot of strife for Sera, so it was enjoyable to watch as Sera stood firm in the fact that she was going to be her own person and that while she had Persephone's memories, that didn't make her Persephone. Hades has commented on several small things that set the two of them apart before, but I think it was hard for both of them to realize that having someone's else soul, doesn't automatically mean you are that person with their likes and needs.

Lucifer and Az made an appearance again, and while it was short, anytime Lucifer shows up is a good time---maybe not for the other characters, but Hades and Lucifer are quite alike, so it's always amusing to see the two of them interact with each other.

I really enjoyed this series, and love the Fae world that Lexi and J.R. Thorn have created together. I really hope that this isn't the last we've seen of this universe, but if it is, this was a good conclusion to the universe.

I’ve been waiting for the ending to this trilogy since the reveal at the end of Nest of Lies. Sera, Maliki, Morpheus, and Hades’ journeys culminate as the danger of Demeter hangs over them. They needed to put aside their insecurities to work together to defeat Demeter and free Persephone. I’m so happy with how everything turned out and am hoping for more stories in this world. 10/10, would recommend 💛🖤💛🖤
