One determined woman. One reluctant groom. And a town full of secrets!
Given the boot from her late uncle’s café, Avis Prescott is ready for a new beginning. An ad for a mail-order bride seems like the perfect answer. But when she arrives in Fiddler’s Gap, she discovers her intended groom has no idea who she is.
Reed Barclay never placed the ad, but he quickly realizes someone is running a dangerous scheme. Protecting Avis and uncovering the truth is the only way to stop it. Trouble is, the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to keep his heart out of the bargain.
With devious plots afoot, reputations at stake, and unexpected romance blooming faster than gossip at the café, will Avis and Reed find love in the middle of the madness?
Find out in this sweet western romance with a mystery to solve!
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
What started out as a joke became a deceitful scheme. I really enjoy Kit Morgan's stories. They get better and better. Once I start reading, I can't stop until the end.
Another fine story by Kit Morgan. Poor Avis, kicked out if her inheritance like a dirty dishrag. The next thing she knew she was in a train to Fiddler’s Gap to be a mai-order-bride. But she was not. Mr. Barclay didn’t put the article in the paper. Oh well, what now?
I just love Fiddler's Gap. This was another story of this cute little town. It contained a little bit if suspence and a whole lot of love. I recommend this book.
