I'm only reviewing a 'portion' of the purchase for the entire ハルタ 2020-MAY volume 74 magazine, which is Kui Ryoko's DAYDREAM HOUR- a booklet containing Ryoko's rough sketches from 'Dungeon Meshi'(ダンジョン飯), fantasy comedy seinen manga.

This would be the 3rd booklet released, with the first two that can be found here.
The first booklet attached to the purchase of volume 37 of BEAM COMIX 2016 magazine (ハルタ 2016).'
And the second booklet is attached to volume 41 of ハルタ 2017 magazine.'



> タイトルの通りですがダンジョン飯のラフスケッチ集が欲しくてその為だけに購入しました。
> 切り取ると丁度コミックサイズになるのが良い感じですが 、やはり思うのが雑誌が売れないと困るのはわかりますが、同じ日に発売したダンジョン飯９巻の特装版として出してほしかったです。

Seems that people who're unsatisfied with the purchase say that it's just a marketing ploy to boost sales of the magazine by including the booklet when it could've just been separated, since people bought the entire magazine just for the booklet alone.
I pretty much lucked out in getting the digital version of the booklet instead of the entire magazine so I wouldn't have to go through the extra baggage/fluff, since it's just the booklet, and the booklet alone that I want.

The character sketches and illustrations are cute but there's a still a lot to be desired.


I'd very much have all three booklets and extra material be compiled into a couple hundred-page book instead.

love love love doodles and comprehensive sheets and charts and I know from twitter that ryoko kui has so many of them for dunmeshi and I’m so excited to LOOK AT MORE OF THEM I love the halflings soo much ugh chilchuck my beloved also LAIOS

All of Ryoko Kui's bonus content adds so much depth to the world of Delicious in Dungeon - and it's very fun to see things like the characters in modern clothing!
