Literally could not put it down. This book had me feeling EVERY emotion, hot and bothered, endearment, RAGE, and others. Found it on a Facebook reel, read the first few chapters in the post, then SEARCHED the interent for the full book because I was already OBSESSED. I don't think I've ever felt this level of addiction to a book before (fitting 😆). I will be refreshing my socials multiple times a day to catch the release of the sequel!!!

I love Knox and Sloane's relationship... no matter how crazy and fucked up it got. I was HOOKED.

This book hooked me from page one and I could not put it down. I finished it in less than 24 hours! Knox and Sloane’s story is equal parts dark, steamy, and addictive.
Sloane started off being the emotional crutch for her best friend Finn, but quickly freed herself from that toxic cycle after being pulled into the orbit of Finn’s brother, Knox. Knox is a brooding, haunted ex-military man with a past that’s as messy as he is magnetic. Knox forces Sloane to confront parts of herself she never expected, while Sloane in turn chips away at Knox’s walls. Their chemistry is explosive, and the spicy scenes that resulted from it, kept me glued to each and every page.
This book is more than romance - it’s filled with sabotage, betrayal, obsession, and more than enough mystery to keep you yearning. The relationships are messy in the best way, and the spice level is off the charts.
My only complaint is that I’m having to try to find patience as I anxiously wait for book two!

Omg. I absolutely loved this book. I started reading as it was an ad on facebook and instantly got hooked. I found where to purchase it from the author and bought it. I could’t put the book down. The way this author writes just makes it so easy to read. The descriptive wording that they used, it was like creating a movie inside my head which I’ve never felt before when having to read. This is the first and official book I’ve completely fell in love with. The book is basically about a woman named Sloane and her best friend Finn who is completely obsessed with a toxic woman (but you will see its very fitting for him as i feel he’s just as toxic and psychotic). Then they introduce a guy named Knox. Knox is Finn’s brother and they absolutely hate each other. Can you guess which one she falls deeply in love and obsessed with?
Im so sad i finished the book so quick!!! Im so excited for the second book to come out soon!

I just have to say, i never read books. My entire life i have had problems being able to sit down read a book and understand what im reading. I could never comprehend it and remember it without rereading the same page over and over again. I also always needed a ruler or something to help me with my eyes moving to different lines by accident. Come to find out i have adhd and a form of dyslexia. My letters move and my lines move. I was scrolling on facebook and an ad popped up for your book and had the first 3 chapters in it. Im not sure why i started reading it but i was curious. It instantly caught my interest and i read all 3 chapters and immediately went and found out how to purchase your book. The way you have written your book is just so perfect. I cant explain how amazing this book is. Thank you for showing me i can sit down read a book. You might have changed my life and i actually mean that.

This book is one of my favorites I was hooked from the first chapter! I love the characters it makes me feel like I am in the book seeing everything happening and i love it! I can’t wait till the second book!!

I loved this story so much and was more than happy to pay for a copy. I’m waiting to buy a physical copy u til it’s got a good edition with splayed edges. The story between Knox and Sloan is sweet and the sec scenes are hot and spicy. Can’t wait for the second o e.

This was unexpected. I started reading this book on one of those book apps and was hooked. Rather than waste my money on coins in the app, I decided to pay the author instead and buy the ebook. Best decision! Great storyline with added spice. Loving the story and can’t wait for book 2.

I’m obsessed! I found this book by random on a Facebook ad and got hooked right away then couldn’t put it down. It’s a must read! Very spicy!

Definitely a good read! Couldn't put it down and I'm a little upset with myself for reading it so fast.
I originally read this in 2025 (like the day it was released practically), and I reread the last 5 chapters in 2026 when The Right Addiction dropped (again, practically the day it released), so I could get a refresher and I forgot how good this story flowed! There are really, really hot n' spicy sections followed by a dramatic twist here and there. It really seems like Knox's dark and crazy mixes well with Sloane's hot and nerdy. Sloane is a feisty, jealous little thing and I love it.
Still a 5 star read for me!

This book may only work for you if you have a fondness for the heyday of erotic romance/Fifty Shades. It has all the trope hallmarks: wealthy hero who uses BDSM as a way of treating PTSD rather than going to therapy, playrooms with a red aesthetic, scheming friends and family who have no care for the main couple. You get what I'm saying?
This also started as a serial on a romance novel app where you pay for chapters. I think this one had 150+ chapters before it concluded and is now a duology. You can definitely tell as the chapters tend to feel like vignettes that end on a cliffhanger, rather than a contained plot with characters moving toward something.
That being said, I did have a good time because of the first point I made. It's soapy and ridiculous and it started out really strong. It does become a bit rinse and repeat the longer it goes on. I'll probably pick up the second book when it releases, just to see how it shakes out. It's honestly cheaper than pay per chapter in the app.

Kept me on the edge of my seat,wanting to know what craziness was around the corner between the main characters. Can't wait for part 2 to come out to finish the love triangle saga.

Found this on Facebook and was hooked. Searched all over for it and then bought it so I could read it all at once instead of on the apps. I was hooked immediately and devoured the entire book very quickly. I love Knox and Sloanes characters and Finn well… he’s like a you love to hate how frustrating he is type of character. The spice in this is great and the soapy drama is addicting and really keeps your attention reeled in.

I really enjoyed this book, I read it far too quickly!! The sex scenes are heavy, and some a bit too extreme for me but that absolutely didn't take away my enjoyment of the story. I cannot wait for the second part to come out so I can see what happens between the main characters!!!
